Cozy cabin

The cabin was clean and the fire going on arrival, which after a rough drive on the carretera was much appreciated. Equipped kitchen, good wifi, location, and communication with the hostess.

Helpful owner, bad value for money

The owner was very helpful and friendly and showed us how everything works.. The cabin has all kinds of facilities, like stove, kitchen, hairdryer, etc. The beds were super comfortable and the linens smelled well.

It was quite expensive compared to other accommodations. The cabin was ok clean, although not spotless clean, especially the kitchen. And there was an intense odd smell during our whole stay which seemed to come from the kitchen sink.

a few useful things were missing such as Dish cloth Broom Bath mat the house was really clean but not were the kitchen cabinets

Location, within walking distance of restaurants and boats to visit the marble caves. Facilities mostly work, but have seen better times.

Facilities are all old, small (bathroom), it really needs a major renovation.

The apartment was spacious.

There was not comfortable water temperature, either very hot or very cold. The pressure was also not enough. The heating of the house was also inadequate.

Pleasant

Location was OK, price was OK, beds were comfortable. Unit was clean. We did have a car which made it easy to get from place to place.

We had little to no wifi with the only way of contacting the host to potentially solve the problem was by wifi. The wood stove did keep the unit warm but left our clothes, bags, etc with a smoky odor. There was a lack of plug-ins, particularly in the bedrooms.

Perfect cabin close to town. Fireplace made it nice and cozy. Loved the bed and bedding. So comfortable! Had everything needed in the kitchen. Host was very accommodating and kind. Thank you Jessica!

Not a great experience..

We were given the WiFi code ahead of our arrival (it was needed!).. other than that there was little to like :(

We followed the instructions to get the key (a different address), but nobody was there. Luckily we had been given the WiFi password before our arrival, so we could connect and contact the host on WhatsApp. After entering the Cabaña it was a disappointment.. cobwebs, poor condition in general and just a convenient stay. We wanted to stop an extra night in ‘Rio Tranquilo’ and to her credit, the host gave us a contact close by that had wonderful Cabañas, in much nicer surroundings & considerably cheaper! Worth shopping around..
