Beautiful home at the Kiahuna Golf Village. Pool, gas BBQ, boogie boards, beach toys, beach chairs & beach towels. Relax by the pool & watch the golfers, or go to the beach! All three bedrooms have attached bathrooms, TV's and ceiling fans. The laundry room has a full bathroom also. The master bedroom has a safe. We have a fully equipped kitchen. Eat in or eat out. It's your choice. We are walking distance to restaurants & shopping. Five minute drive to several great beaches. Boogie board, surf, snorkel, swim & relax. Everything you need for a great vacation is right here!

This property was perfect for our family of 8, 4 adults and 4 children. We stayed for 2 weeks. We love this area as it is walking distance to shops and Poipu beach. The lanai is great for sunrises! The pool was perfect. The house does not have ac but plenty of windows and fans. The kitchen is well equipped and we had everything we needed to cook almost all meals at home we highly recommend this home!

We loved this house. Quiet neighborhood located close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. The BBQ & pool made it fun to cook dinner at the house. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom, plus a bonus shower and toilet in the laundry area. Plenty of room for our group of 6. We'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this property from March 23-April 3. The house was as pictured and described. The size was great for my husband and I, our daughter and two grandkids, 9 and 14. It was an older property that was, for the most part, in good condition & had everything we needed for our 12-day stay.
Now, the downside. We arrived and immediately began to haul our bags to the upstairs bedroom. When my husband went to use the master bathroom, it looked like an entire NYC sewer had backed up in the toilet. Gross.
We also found that the dishwasher hadn’t been working correctly and all the dishes in the cupboards, glasses and silverware had to be rewashed by hand before we could use them. My husband pulled & cleaned the filter but we still ended up washing everything by hand for all 12 days.
Also, the handle broke on one of the smaller bathroom’s toilet a few days before we left and was pretty much unusable.
But the house and pool were nice and we would have been ok with those issues if we would have had enough sleep. But between the wild roosters that crowed about18 hours/day under all of our windows (which had to be left open with no A/C), the golf course heavy maintenance equipment noise that started at sunrise and the ever-present neighborhood landscaping crews that worked under the windows EXTREMELY early most mornings, none of us ever had a decent night’s sleep the whole time we were there. Exhaustion took a big toll on our vacation. Wouldn’t stay there again because of it.

The house was amazing and had plenty of room for our family of 8. The kitchen was well-supplied, the beds were comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed the lanai and pool, even on the rainy days. The house is close to great restaurants and beaches.

Great house with a nice pool in the perfect location. Super quiet neighborhood and we really appreciated the fact that the house came with lots of extras like towels, pool toys, beach chairs, and condiments, spices, tin foil, plastic bags, etc. the BBQ was really nice and we utilized it a lot. We also really enjoyed the outside eating area next to the pool.

We found this to be a good fit for our multigenerational family while in town attending an intimate family wedding.
The small pool was the perfect size/depth for a quick dip; the location was centrally located to all event/activity sites; any questions/concerns (including a misbehaving faucet) we had were quickly addressed; and we did appreciate and make use of the provided fans, especially while sleeping, which helped with the lack of A/C.
The biggest downside was just the overpowering moth ball odor in the closets — as we didn’t want to risk our fancy attire absorbing the smell, we had to get a little creative in where to hang it up.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this property.

This is the second time we have stayed at Halekai and we can’t wIt to come back. The pool, accommodations, kitchen, everything is well stocked and welcoming. Although there is no AC, there r many fans that help to keep the air moving and cool. The pool is the highlight of every morning and evening! The kids and adults loved it equally! Mahalo, Kathy!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property provided plenty of room for our group of six that included 2 kids, ages 7 & 9, and one teenager. When we were nor out exploring the island, the pool provided entertainment and a great way to cool off and keep the kids occupied. The house had everything we needed for an enjoyable and relaxing time in Kauai. The location was perfect, close to Poipu Beach, shopping, dining, and it was easy getting around the island. We would stay here again.

Exactly what we needed! Beautiful home, views, and space was perfect for our family. We golfed, walked to beach, little fish coffee house and small shops. ( Starbucks daily was 7 min walk). We spent every morning and evening on the patio having coffee in the AM and playing cards at night. Peaceful quiet neighborhood gave us the chance to disconnect. Space was amazing for 6 adults and enjoyed barbecue by the pool. Explored the whole island and we will be back and stay here again!

We were three middle aged couples and loved this house for us. The common living area was very spacious. We loved the covered outdoor area, both for protection of the sun and rain! We really enjoyed this home! We had 6 adults and one infant. The house is spacious and the four full baths were very appreciated. We enjoyed the pool and the outdoor eating and relaxing areas. We stayed at this house in late June 2022. We were a party of 5 adults and 1 older teenager. The house was great. The master suite allowed my husband and I to be separate from the family of 4 but still hang out together. The listing is exactly as advertised. The house is spacious with a full kitchen that had everything we needed to make our meals. The pool and lanai were great.--there was plenty of comfortable furniture and when we were home it is where we spent most of our time. The location is easy to find and the neighborhood was quiet. Communication with the owner and property mgr was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Hale Kai in Prime Location
Our family of eight had a wonderful stay at the beautiful home on Poipu’s Kiahuna golf course and we would do it again! The home was spacious, clean, welcoming and well appointed with kitchen appliances, cookware, beach and pool toys! The pool was amazing to cool off in after a day of exploring the island… and was a highlight for the kiddos. While AC would be a nice to have, it’s not a must have when you open all the windows and have the fans going. You cannot beat this location in Poipu. It was a 2-5 min drive to anything in Poipu/Koloa. Lastly, I cannot say enough about Maya the property manager. She was an amazing help to us when we accidentally left a bag in the house and realized once we go to the airport. She was responsive and so willing to help us. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip and better accommodations for our family. Mahalo!

This property had amazing views and an extra level of privacy with the golf course behind you. Enough supplies for your beach days and all the cooking supplies you’ll need! House was clean and beds were super comfortable. Great location and only about a 25 minute drive from the airport and a 5 minute drive to the beach. 5 star stay for us and our family will definitely be back!

Wonderful home in beautiful neighborhood
We spent 7 days in this home and it was wonderful! The home is a little outdated, besides the kitchen that was recently remodeled, but it was very clean and easily met all of our needs. We had 8 people in the home so we used two of their blow up beds. They were awesome! Not your typical, low to the ground blow up beds. They were plush and comfortable. The first one we used ended up deflating in the night but they had two others that worked perfectly.
The pool is small and simple but our kids loved playing in it or lounging around it each day. And we were so grateful for the beach chairs and beach towels we could take with us to the beach everyday.
The home is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. We loved nightly walks around the area. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Spacious and comfortable house
The home was spacious and well stocked. It’s a great location on the island, close to a couple of really nice beaches and restaurants. The view from the deck is beautiful. A few issues we had made this home less than ideal though. First off, if you are a light sleeper, or actually like to sleep, this is not the place for you. If you don’t know, Kauai has lots of roosters. They start crowing at about 2 -3 am, and go on for hours! Lots of them, sometimes right out our window! Because there isn’t air conditioning, you want to have the windows open, and it’s really rough. Also, due to the fact that it is right on the golf course, a couple times a week they start mowing the grass at 5 am, which also is bad for getting sleep. In addition, there was a renovation going on next door that was quite noisy, but at least that was time specific and won’t effect anyone else. It’s really unfortunate and definitely affected our enjoyment of this lovely house.

Wonderful Family Stay
Wonderful house in a great Location. Owner Kathy and property manager Maya were very helpful with our trip planning and stay. I loved the peaceful early mornings on the lanai near the pool and the grandkids aged 5 and 22 months loved the pool. This was the second trip to Kauai for myself, my wife and my daughter and we were so happy that this wonderful island lived up tp our memories from our first trip in 2004. It was an easy walk to shopping and the beach and I can't imagine a better place to stay than this house. It was even better than the we expected from the pictures.

Wonderful Hale Kai House at Poipu
We loved our stay at Hale Kai! This was our first trip in two years and our last trip to Kauai was five years ago and I am so glad we choose this house! The home was very clean, comfortable, spacious and nicely decorated. It is located in a nice quiet neighborhood and the views out over the golf course and the ocean beyond were awesome! We walked to the Poipu Village for coffee almost every morning, swam in the pool, took a short drive to the beach and went on many great adventures. It could not have been better! Maya the property manager is super friendly and helpful. We didn't need anything while we there she just stopped by to check on us.

Perfect location!
This was the perfect spot for our extended family, which included 6 adults and 2 toddlers! We were close to beaches, shopping and restaurants. The house itself was amazing, giving all of us a chance to spread out and enjoy our time together. The toddlers and their parents thoroughly enjoyed the pool, although it was still a bit chilly in February for us older folks. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful Poipu house with us! We enjoyed sunrises and sunsets from the deck, and took our time exploring all of the wonderful places on Kauai. We traveled to Princeville and Hanalei Bay, Waimea Canyon, Barking Sands Beach (we had military access), the Koala Rum Company and the Kauai Coffee Estate. Great visit!
