Excellent

Couldn't fault the whole experience yet again, I have stayed here at least once a year for a few years. I travel to visit my Father and travelling alone I don't feel at least nervous, it's nice to be remembered and be remembered by name, the staff are very welcoming and warm, the breakfasts are excellent and the room was perfect

Will return again any time we are visiting family in Aberdeen. Great staff.

We have eaten in the Cove Bay Hotel but never been able to stay before, as always been booked up when we were booking. As the food was great before it didn't disappoint us, breakfast was very good (we had a visit from the dolphins out at sea one morning) We also had a family meal during our stay and everyone loved the food.

Lovely would like to stay again.

Tidy , amazing staff, good food . Lady in morning always was cheery and calked me by my name , just loved staying here and will stay again.

Thought was a bit expensive for single room .

Very comfortable and pleasant stay that exceeded my expectations.

Dinner - food was very good. The room was comfortable and spacious enough for my requirements.

Some may consider that the hotel is too far off the beaten track, but I think that this added to the appeal of the company.

Super petit déjeuner avec des produits frais et cuisinés à la demande . De plus possibilité de dîner sur place. Restaurant de très bonne qualité. Personnel très accueillant. Attention il faut réserver !

The room was excellent. It was spacious. The bathroom was lovely and big, too, with a large shower. We loved the sea view. The food was delicious and the staff were polite and helpful.

A litre carton of soya milk would have been useful, as I need a dairy free diet. The tiny, sealed plastic pots provided meant that I couldn't have cereals for breakfast. They weren't very nice in tea and coffee either.

Nice place with brilliant team

The team in the hotel and the restaurant is amazing! Very friendly and helpful! I loved that the place is very active, a lot of people were hanging out in a pub when we arrived but it was quiet in the room though.

The room was very small. Also there was no shower gel, shampoo, or air conditioner (that was a bit of shame).

As Good As It Gets in Aberdeen!

Cove Bay is a beautiful old hotel right beside the sea, close to Aberdeen but away from the hustle and bustle. We had a newly decorated standard room with parking right outside our cottage. The bed was super comfy and the decor a warm subtle highland style. Great shower. Great breakfast. Cordon Bleu dining both nights. But best of all is the friendly, cheerful and helpful staff. Diane, Claire and their team looked after us as if we were special from the moment we arrived. We totally recommend Cove Bay Hotel as part of your Scotland Experience. Barb and Mark NZ

Lovely Hotel in Aberdeen

Everything! this hotel and staff were amazing. The location was perfect and food was delicious. Rooms were cozy and comfortable and will definitely revisit.

Comfortable stay with great view to the sea!

The staff was very friendly, room was adequate for 2 persons and equipped with a very nice bathroom, the view from the restaurant and the room to the sea was great, the restaurant offers high quality food.

Beautiful refurbished. Staff still fantastic.

The outside tables should be in the sun. The dinner was a bit dear. Pillows are a bit soft. Need one hard and one soft.

Amazing food.

We were looking for somewhere nearby city centre that had parking. We visited Cove Bay a couple of years ago and noticed this lovely hotel. We made a last-minute booking while travelling up to Aberdeen. Swayed by its good reviews and location, it was very reasonably priced, so we took a chance. I'm so glad we did as the food was absolutely amazing. A spotless, modern bathroom and the bed was one of the comfiest I've been in.

Our room was above the bar, so it was a little noisy, which is OK if you don't need an early night or are planning to join them. Which we did 🙂
