La terrazza di notte bellissima con vista su Matera vecchia ,luogo vicino a tutti i servizi

La stanza soppalcata per una coppia non e adatta due letti uno normale e una brandina più bassa che per una coppia sposata non e appropriata l'impianto di condizionamento non raffresca affatto e nel piano soppalco un ventilatore che non funziona affatto caldo specialmente perché nel soppalco c'è la caldaia e quando e in funzione si ribolle

la vicinanza al centro.

il tetto della stanza a Volta è troppo basso....mio marito ha sbattuto la testa. Attenzione!!!!! Da comunicare magari nelle inserzioni dei servizi offerti.

Lobed this cave room!

The cave room is so cool, this was my favourite place we stayed in Italy. The location is amazing, it was easy to access and very clean and comfortable. I loved the shower within the rock face too, very nice!

You do have to mind your head if you are tall!! There was a bar nearby that was quite loud (live music) so if you are a light sleeper, maybe take ear plugs!

One of the most unique accomodation in my life

Perfekt location, perfekt room, very nice design. Beautiful city.

Breakfast includes 1 Coffee and 1 sweet croissant. No choice. We havnt got info, that there would be a run in the city Sunday morning, closed roads. We were lucky to ask a policeman, otherwise we would have stuck in the garage

Atmospheric cave accommodation

This little cave accommodation was perfect for our visit to Matera. The room is clean, comfy and atmospheric. The position is extremely central and ideal for exploring the centre.

The location was central. The authenticity of the property was great.

There was only one chair to sit on and there were NO GLASSES for us to enjoy a wine at the end of the evening. CAUTION: the archway was low, so anyone over 5’6” would have to bend over, so they didn’t bang their head against the stonework.

Amazing stay!

Location was perfect, the room was amazing, comfortable and with all the services that you need. The host was very kind and suggest us where to go and the best time of the day to visit it. Highly recommend la casa del nonno! Highly impressed!

Exceptional

At first we asked the owner via the booking to reccommend the parking place. When we arrived there and parked the car as advised - we were pleasently suprised to see the owner coming for us to the parking spot!! He was charming and welcomed us in Matera and walked us into the apartment showing on the way some great spots to see. He spent some time with us to show us must see places on the map thanks to which we didn't miss a thing and we had only one day. What a great experience!! Place is amazing. It's the best starting point in Matera you can imagine. Right in the Sassi Centre. It was very clean, had all we need. We loved it.

Superb

Uccio kindly helped us to get a free parking space near the apartment upon our arrival. We had a nice appartement with a terrace that had a great view over Matera. The apartment was bigger than expected and was located on walking distance of the city’s highlights.

Only suitable for 2 people ( without breakfast )

Proximity with the old town. It was very clean, our host was very nice, available for questions and recommandations etc. We did a late checkout as well.

The air conditioner isn't as expected, it was a single portable device and unfortunatly it didn't refresh all the place and very noisy Breakfast was very poor ( 1 carton of orange juice per person for 2 days, only fews cakes). It's not a good breakfast for us. We order for 4 peoples, the main bed was very confortable but there is two another beds for 1 person and not a sofa as describe in reservation.

Great location. Good value. Helpful and friendly host.

Host met us with the keys. Breakfast foods and espresso pods were provided. The host recommended some great places to eat and see in Matera. The property had a roof terrace with amazing view of Matera! Would highly recommend.

Great location and great management

Property was in a great location for parking and very close to the city centre and sights. It was very clean and the manager very helpful, he advised us about all the touristic attractions and how to get there!

The place had everything we needed. Great location and hopefully we'll go back to enjoy the roof top more!

Nothing! Everything was better than we expected! If I have to find something a little more toilet paper and some sugar for my coffee...But this weren't issues! 🤭
