location and price (if you manage to get it cheap)
The first time I stayed I was given a decent room this time around despite giving a previous good review they decide to give me a tiny box room. Bed was uncomfortable, arial cable broken and walls are thin could hear the c##t next door as if he was in the room and having a coughing fit and snoring all night long.
2.1
The absolute independence was bliss, the room was spacious and clean.
I had the best sleep in months
Once i understood how to get in (WhatsApp message) haha
To not being more clearly indicated how to check in
But i was really exhausted
2.1
The room was tidy, bed extremely comfortable, came with an ensuite even though we did not pay extra for one. The room was big and allowed for free movement. Shower worked well.
Some reviews mention the frount door being unlocked and this is true but security for rooms is good. Yes, there is no member of staff to check in, but as a couple who came quite late it was a nice convenience.
Room had tea and coffee facilities, and was overall very clean. Would recommend
My friend also stayed at the hotel, but in a different room, which also came with a surprise ensuite but the layout of the room was odd. The frount door leading to sort of closet which had doors to the bathroom and bed room. Their bed also was hard in the middle-

Nothing it was a awful hotel
1. It was so dated and looked like it hadn’t been updated for about 20 years.
2. Greeted by a guy smoking on the door step, who I assume was the owner
3. Broken banisters, and paint all over the carpet
4. Room was awful, carpet looked like it had been fitted by a blind person.
4. No lock on the bathroom.
5. Was two single beds not a double, then when moved the beds together it was dirty under bed.
6. Bed was rock solid
7. Window was broken and wouldn’t shut so kept blowing the bathroom room and banging all night.
8. It has the smallest bathroom, well it’s not a bathroom it’s a cupboard with a toilet and shower, if your tall or a bigger person you would struggle to sit on the toilet,
9. The shower is tiny, and the water pressure was awful.
Just awful, the only good thing was it was close to where we where going, it was like staying in a bed sit
2.1
The location was perfect for the occasion
The property was a little run down but not dirty.
The passwords to enter the property were all incorrect so we were locked out for just over an hour.
2.1
nothing
rooms smelt of sick. fixtures and fittings broken and grubby. decoration grubby , bed had stains on mattress, shower had excessive mould . no hot water . light in shower area non existent so dark and dirty . no lock on main door so security non existent.
i could go on with list after list avoid at all cost
2.1
good location and 24/7 comms with staff
room smelt of smoke, there was a sock over the smoke alarm in the ceiling. the bathroom light didn’t work. the mattress didn’t fit the bed, the bed was shabby and peeling. the room felt dirty. socket was away from the wall, live wires could be seen
2.1
Bed was comfortable and bedding was clean.
We couldnt use the shower because there was no hot water & the cold water that did come out smelt so bad like sewage, really bad.
There was a piece of material over the window that was meant to be a curtain. The material didn't even cover the window, it was about a foot too short to meet the side.
It was also nailed at the top to the rail so we couldn't move the curtain over to try and shut it a bit more. So people would be able yo see in the window and the light was coming in as soon as it got light.
Although the bedding seemed clean the floor was not, the laminate had bits all over it so we had to walk around in our shoes.
TV also didn't work
The hotel was unmanned so there was no-one we could talk to about the issues.
The room we booked was meant to be a deluxe so I'd hate to see what a standard room looks like.
2.1
The room was very comfortable, conveniently located.
The self service check in was easy and the courtesy call was appreciated.
The shower cubicle could do with some attention as it looks a bit tired and slightly mouldy.
2.1
location
auto check in fine in principal, but all messages answered by a robot on the app / didn’t make any sense
2.1
Nothing
Before we travelled up a few new reviews were put on, we expected the worst,
Our room was right to the top in the attic, nothing like the picture at all complete false advertisement,
Holes in the walls, marks on the walls just general cleanliness was poor,
It says 100 deposit but there is noone there anyway, the outside is nothing like the picture either, definitely needs a gd revamp
We stayed because we was visiting family and had no other option
2.1
Nothing
The bed was moldy and the room smelled so bad of mold. The shower was broken and not hot water at all. There were no light fixtures and the check in was a joke.
2.1
location
no lighting, no temperature control on the shower, the mattress was too big for the bed base, rips in the curtains, cracks and stains all up the wall and no staff on site.
2.1
the location is the only good thing about this hotel
when we arrived the front door wasn’t locked and the second door had the lock smashed off there was a hole in the the door where the lock used to be. the hallway smelled very strongly of vomit and felt very dirty and un safe. after this I got the key to my room out of the lock box attached to the door upon entering I was greeted with a strong smell of what I can only explain as a dirty man smell, the lights didn’t work properly, the shower was covered in limescale, the window wouldn’t close properly and there was extreme wind and rain that night. to top it all off the lock on the bedroom door wasn’t very secure at all even though it did lock if you pulled the door forgetting the door was locked the lock would move with the door as if it would come off. we spent all of about 5 minutes in the room before handing straight back out having to drive home after the plans we had which took us 3 hours to get home. very dissatisfied, when I called to request a refund the woman on the phone said it’s not possible and was very unhelpful and didn’t appear to be listening at all

design
2.1
The building hadn't actually collapsed upon arrival, although with hindsight sleeping between rubble might have been a more hygienic experience if nothing else.
So, we had 5 rooms between 10 people so can confirm this was not a one-off. Rooms varied from having Tequila Rose half-spilled over the bed, to open electrical wiring in shower rooms, to fire-alarms not working, to a soaking wet bedroom floor, wet bed and mattress, no hot water, major electrical fault listed as unsafe on their electricity box. Oh, and the 'secure panel' for entering the property is irrelevant, you can push the door and anyone can enter. There were ceiling leaks but don't worry, they'd placed a bucket in roughly the right place.
2.1
Self check-in/check-out was simple and straightforward. Room was clean and shower was hot. Location was brilliant, close to center and coffee shops nearby for breakfast.
Property and room were a bit tired but for the price & location it was great value.
2.1
So cheap for where it was. Bed was comfy. Good easy clear self check in instructions received in good time to check in
Bathroom was a bit dirty and had a leak so floor constantly wet.
2.1
cleaner is the only good thing at this hotel
I had to sleep in my big coat and jeans because the both rooms I stayed in had no heating it is painfully cold also had no hot water in morning, the walls in this sharehouse are paper thin so yeah u can hear everyone, the no staff a cleaner just cleans the sharehouse in the morning. the tv turns it’s self off at 10pm
2.1
Close to Brighton Pier
Stained sheets, no teaspoons or sticks for coffee, shower only has boiling hot water so impossible to shower without burning yourself. Only one light bulb working. Carpets up the stairs are loose and is a very high risk of slipping and falling.
2.1
comfortable beds
not really clean specially the toilet
things falling a part , light above the head , toilet handle , tower handle etc
2.1
Comfortable beds
There was wet, smelly vomit on the floor, a hole in the wall with a tissue stuffed into it and damp mould on the walls.
The shower was barely a dribble.
2.1
The mattress was really bad, you could sink into the springs. The window was broken and couldn’t be closed and the curtain fell off the rail as I tried to open it. Although they sent someone to fix it, the room wasn’t in great condition… the hallway wasfull of stuff and was to get through with my luggage. Not a great experience overall
2.1
Location
No hot water so couldn't shower, no locking door so did not feel safe and poor customer service when these issues were raised
Also bed was very uncomfortable but the room was clean which was a positive, and very close to the beach however very poor experience overall and wouldn't recommend
2.1
There was no air conditioning, no reception, customer service was horrible
2.1
Nothing
There was mould , the floors were broke. Locks were broken security measures awful . Fire safety awful never ever recommended this place
2.1
VERY basic and rooms were oddly laid out but great location and easy to access, we were just after somewhere to sleep and it did the trick. Self check-in so no staff on site but they did call to make sure we had all the info for check in and were friendly on the phone.
Strange smell and one of the rooms we booked was so small the door hit the bed. But it did the trick.
2.1
Cheap
No running water in toilet.
Light not v good
Shower needs modernising
I was sent wrong code when entering room
I was given a couresy call but no further follow up.
2.1
the mattress was broken. shower was dirty
2.1
worst place to stay
unacceptable dirty and nothing like the photos
2.1
Location was great and the manager called to check all was ok, and was very accommodating. Rooms were clean and 2 out of the 3 rooms we booked were fine..I think for the price and one night stay it was passable
1 room we had the curtain rod was loose and the curtain fell down, shower was broken so only cold water was coming out.
In another room the shower only gave out hot water not cold.
2.1
The bed was so so comfortable. And the house cleaner was amazing and very accommodating.
The carpet on the stairs was worn and not fitted properly. The place needs new carpet and the shower and facilities in the room need updating
2.1
The location
The room was disgusting and really dirty. No plug for the kettle, broken mirror, mould in the bathroom, shower didn’t work, dirty marks on the wardrobe glass, no cups for a drink.
