Esperienza molto spiacevole

Dimensioni camera riportate in descrizione (26 mq) non veritiere. Dimensioni reali non oltre i 15 mq (compreso il bagno). Lo faccio presente ad Andrea e mi risponde "ma hai visto il prezzo? le camere sono uguali e in 27 anni nessuno si è mai lamentato di questo" ... "se volete potete cancellare la prenotazione". L'avrei fatto, ma i prezzi sulla destinazione sotto data erano raddoppiati. Segnalo inoltre che che mi è rimasto in mano il soffione della doccia, non appena lo avevo toccato per direzionare il getto d'acqua. Mi risponde "agli altri non succede, succede solo a voi" . Non gli rivolgerò più la parola per tutto il soggiorno. Pressione acqua del bagno molto bassa, acqua del lavandino maleodorante, una sola presa vicino al letto (abbiamo dovuto comprare una doppia presa ed una prolunga), musica fino alle 4 del mattino, i tappi per le orecchie offerti non bastano. Condizioni generali della camera decadenti, presa elettrica vicino al letto e quella del bagno poco sicure, non essendo ben fissate alla parete. Portachiavi in plastica usurato (vedi foto), mi si rompe in tasca e lo lascio in camera con l'intento di segnalarlo al check-out. Al cambio lenzuola ci accorgiamo di un gran buco su un lato. Vista la situazione e le risposte date in precedenza, evitiamo di segnalarlo e scattiamo foto. Il direttore generale del gruppo mi manda un messaggio, accusandomi di aver danneggiato il lenzuolo ed il portachiavi e mi chiede di pagare (18$) per i "danni". Faccio presente che non sono disposto a pagare nemmeno un centesimo per quello di cui mi si "accusa" in mala fede e lo informo del comportamento di Andrea spiegando la situazione nel dettaglio, perché evidentemente ha ricevuto informazioni del tutto errate. L'esperienza in questo hotel è stata qualcosa di assurdo ed inimmaginabile. La cortesia e l'ospitalità non sono mai scontate, ma in questa struttura sono davvero un miraggio.

Würden sofort wieder hier buchen.

Sehr schöne Zimmer, täglicher Zimmerservice, alles sauber und ein unglaublich schöner Innenhof. Abends kann man sich in die eigene Hängematte vor der Zimmertüre legen, man kann seine Wäsche aufhängen, Wasser gibt es auch und wenn man Glück hat begegnet einem am späten Abend ein freundlicher Waschbär. Enzo, die Hauskatze miaut freundlich fordernd wenn man kommt und geht und überhaupt ist es ein schöner Ort mit funktionierender Klimaanlage und Ventialtor. Am Eingang wird man von sehr liebem und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeitern empfangen und man ist in 2 min am Meer und hat alles was man braucht um die Ecke. W- LAN geht auch und Handtücher für den Strand gibt es auch zu leihen. Allenfalls Ohropax sollte man sich am Eingang nehmen wenn man empfindlich ist, da die Partymeile bis hier her schallt. Aber da kann ja das Hotel nichts dafür und wir würden trotzdem auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Nichts. Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt.

Excelente opción en el centro

El hotel es sencillo pero súper práctico, a pocos metros de la estación de bus, la cama súper cómoda, buena ducha y la hamaca en el balcón se agradece mucho. Recepcionista 24h lo que hace que te sientas segura.

El gel de baño no es de buena calidad. Y a 20metros hay un local que pone la música altisima, de 20h a 2h, si te cuesta dormir con ruido mejor no alojarte aquí, yo pude dormir sin problemas.

Lovely hotel

We loved the hotel. Location was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

As it is in the center, it was a bit noisy during the night.

Die Lautstärke vom Lokal an der Ecke ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Natürlich das ist ja vom Hotel nicht abhängig.

Das Geld überhaupt nicht wert

Kostenloses Wasser und gute Location, wenn man nahe der Busstation sein möchte.

- Badezimmer roch komisch - dunkles Zimmer - Duschwasser braucht ewig um warm zu werden - es ist so laut, dass man das Gefühl hat mitten im Club zu schlafen

Great internet, staff and location!

The internet was excellent! I needed to do Zoom calls for work and it worked perfectly. The location was also excellent! Close to everything, ADO bus terminal, Ferry to Cozumel and steps to 5th avenue, shops and many restaurants!

If you want to sleep early and are a light sleeper it is maybe not the best option. As others commented you can hear music playing until at least 2am. However, it is the trade off for being in such a great location and only steps away from everything you could need!

the room was clean

I didn’t have WIFI and I asked for help. it worked outside my room ( not inside ). The NOISE at night until 3-4 am was unbearable even with earplugs . I asked to leave the hotel but I couldn’t get refund. they changed me to a room at the end of the corridor .maybe one tone less but the MUSIC and banging continued …again I had NO WIFI and asked for help . both reception workers didn’t speak English and my Spanish is so so . they never arranged for the WiFi and seen as there is no TV in the room it’s pretty lonely when you are a solo traveler. I sat in the common area for WiFi and one of the Workers said he had to turn the light off approx 23.00 !! when i checked out there was the most ARROGANT person I have ever met in my life who insisted there was internet and bla bla bla . speaking in broken French / English, adding nothing like : “I am sorry Madam” ! no way he kept on talking about his experience in 26 years . I have been traveling six months in all South American countries and been staying in new hotels every 2-3 nights and OMG have never met such a horrible individual . I am in shock how presumably manager ( or owner ) could behave in such a way .

Cute affordable option in the happening area, especially great if you plan on staying up late to enjoy th le playa night

Very cute traditional Mexico vibes in the decor/set up. Super clean and really close to a lot of restaurants and bars. Very affordable for the budget.

The club next door blasting music all night but with the windows closed and AC on you can kind of drown it out.

Decent location - close to the ADO bus and ferry to Cozumel. Friendly staff and was able to check in early. Room pretty comfortable and WiFi was decent. One of the more reasonably priced places in the area too.

As most people mention - the music/noise from the place nearby goes on till very late, and I don't think I slept till about 2am each night. The fan and aircon do help drown the noise out a bit, but you still hear the bass and can make out lyrics. So maybe bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Signage for the hotel could be better. Luckily Google street view still showed it with the hotel sign, so I knew which place it was, but if you didn't check before arriving it could maybe be a little confusing.

Very good location, nice and friendly, helpful staff, always ready to help! Safe. It was a good choice, really recommended!

A bit the near bar noisy but only one night from 9 was a bit louder, if you are not a bad sleeper, no issue. BUT this in parallel with a very good location and all good advantages! 😊

We had a very large comfortable room above the reception. The courtyard inside the hotel is lush--it's a great place to hang out when not doing things around town. The location is central to beach, restaurants and the turistica bus station. Shower was great. I would definitely stay here again.

One more light in the room would have been nice at night. I suggest getting a room on the bottom floor. The noise from the street can be loud. It's Playa del Carmen so it's expected and no fault of the hotel--I have never experienced a quiet hotel in PdC. I can sleep through anything so I didn't mind the noise but my wife did. If you're sensitive to street noise, get a room on the ground floor where it is dampened. My kids stayed on the ground floor towards the back and didn't hear a thing at night.

Great place to stay in Playa del carmen! Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable especially Andrea who goes above and beyond his customer expectations! Location is central!!! You are literally 2-3 min walk from the hotel to the beach. I recommend this amazing place to everyone. It’s my favourite place to stay at playa del carmen!!!!

The location of the hotel is perfect!!

There is a bar right next to the hotel and it is loud till 2-3 in the morning. The English level of the employees is terrible, please change that.

Good enough when optimizing for price

Service was kind and helpful. OK when looking for something cheap. It met my expectations.

Ratio price over value slightlower than I expected. Perhaps as it was high-season (Christmas). The fridge in the minibar was old and doesn't get cold fast.

Secured entrance and beautiful patio

+ friendly staff with good english + local cat and visiting raccoons and bats + hammock + patio with kitchen area + sanity and towel figures - each day new one + small parking lot at the property and staff helped us with parking every time

- loud disco bar nearby, but I was ready for that - poor water quality - low preasure and bad taste and smell, cleaned my teeth with bottled water - mosquitos

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room was filthy and incredibly loud. We barely got any sleep between the smell of the sewer and the blasting club music. The towels in the room were covered in hairs of various lengths and the sheets on the bed were dirty.

Hotel with character, simple, clean room with a strange soft smell.

The hotel is very well located, only one block away of the main street. The property has a nice Mexican character. Staff was amicable. I would recommend the Italian restaurant just across the street.

The room although clean had a weird smell which we believe came from the bathroom water. The water felt like a well water with a very strong smell and unpleasant taste. During our stay the back neighbor had parties with loud sound until around midnight.
