Excellent hotel with superb breakfast

Fantastic breakfast to the point where I was disappointed that we were only staying for one night! Very friendly helpful staff who happily rang our restaurant of choice to book a table for us. Nice bar and a free drink voucher included. Comfortable room, if a little small, but great view. Hotel only a few minutes walk from the train and bus station.

Tiny beds

Staff are lovely

The beds are single size!!!!!! We booked 4 ppl and had 2 tiny beds. I called reception straight away and they said $1700 more for larger beds. My husband slept on the floor.

Don’t think of staying anywhere else. Fabulous property.

This review is a long time coming. I want to share with the whole world how amazing this hotel is I’m not exaggerating we were treated like a VIP and a good friend. That combination of treatment is only seen in the finest properties worldwide and we received it here in Kanazawa. We stayed in a world famous ryokan the following night, and while that was also superb. The service at this much larger hotel left us with high expectations. Even if we weren’t upgraded to a high floor view room, the rooms themselves are immaculately clean, plush, quiet, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Concierge made great recommendations. Take advantage of the skybar lounge. Beautiful piano music and precision-made classic cocktails. All this right across from the station. You could easily stay here a month (if there was that much to do in Kanazawa.) Congrats Hotel Nikko Team domo arigato gozaimasssssu! 🙏

Excelente hotel, volvería a hospedarme

El servicio al cliente y facilidad para que me reservaran un autobús para Takayama. Las amenidades, en general todo muy bien. La vista del hotel hacia la costa es hermosa y se puede ver el atardecer. A pesar que nos tocó habitación de fumadores no olía nada a cigarro.

Pues nada, en lo que podría mejorar sería tal vez poner como opcional la entrega del periódico desde un punto de vista ecológico y tal vez ahorro de dinero también. Pero en general todo excelente.

ゴミひとつ落ちてないお部屋！フロントさん、バイキングのスタッフさん、清掃員みなさん、温かい方で嬉しかったです！　空きがあり、広い部屋に変えていただけたのはとても助かりました！　何よりお食事が美味しくて、居心地も良いので子供らがなかなか帰る用意をしませんでした(笑)また行きたいので、よろしくお願いいたします♪

Beautiful hotel

The hotel decor is beautiful, the location is very close to kanazawa station. The room was very big, the bathroom was very big (double sink). The bathtub was bug enough for 2 people.

Very nice hotel, great location and would stay again.

The room was nice and comfortable but a little tight on space. The breakfast was comprehensive and had a nice ambience in true Japanese style. The location is literally across the road from the Station. The reception areas were beautiful. However do not expect to get your room early if you arrive early unless you are willing to pay extra.

We arrived early but unless we paid extra,they would not allow us access to our room which we found unhelpful and frustrating after a 3 hour journey.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Aufenthalt im Hotel und empfehle es weiter!

Die Lage war ideal, schön nahe am Bahnhof und nicht abgelegen. Das Zimmer war gepflegt. Besonders das Bad mit Wanne und der Regendusche war schön. Auch dass wir unser Gepäck bereits vorab abgeben und dann als wir kamen bereits im Zimmer war, viel positiv auf. Trotz Check-out durften wir unsere Koffer noch Zwischenlagern. Wirklich toller Service und gutes Hotel!

Das einzige was ich etwas störend fand war, dass das Waschbecken neben dem Bett und nicht im Sanitärbereich war.

I would stay there in a heartbeat on another trip to Kanazawa.

Beautiful lobby and top floor bar. Room was comfortable and comparatively spacious with a nice view of the city and mountains. I particularly enjoyed the daily Japan Times / NY Times newspaper delivered to the room each morning.
