Perfect location and great staff.

very friendly and helpful staff. Great location for foods and to get around. Very close to metro line. Look out for McDonald's building and the hotel is on the above. Free drink vouchers but we didn't use them because it's a restaurant setting. We feel like we have to eat there if we get a free drinks. Nice complimentary basket crisps, tea and coffee and bottles of mineral water but only on the 1st day of checking in. If booking for more than 1 night, there won't be refill complimentary but there is a coffee machine at the reception that you can have. Toilet and fridge are a big bonus.

No refill tea or coffee from the 2nd day. It would be nice to have a hot drink when get up in the morning and not have to get dress to go to the reception to get a cup of hot drink. Shower room is mouldy and need to replace or clean. Not every room has window.

While I like the location, I would not be back.

Location close to their train station and nearby shopping is excellent.

The room size and facilities were fine. We did not like the incense that greeted us as we got onto the lobby from the elevator - it felt as if we weee walking into a temple, and made us wonder if it was trying to cover up other smells. I also ended up with bed bug bites on my left hand, and showed it to the receptionist on check out, but did not get a proper response. She turned over to her colleague and mentioned I had a complaint.

So Moldy that we live in fear…

Perfect location near the train station. Wonderful coffee and drink and relax facility

Moldy shower. Moldy ceiling at Aircon’s. Moldy ceiling in toilet. Cannot connect to internet at all unless we open the room door. Really disappointing

Good budget hotel

Good location near train station and restaurants. Very helpful staff on leaving bags and checking in early.

Strange bathroom with frosted glass visible to those in room.

Location was the only good point.

1) room smelt unpleasant when entering. 2) shower area was rusty and moldy 3) lighting in the room was way too dark 4) air conditioning was either quiet but weak, or noisy and too strong. 5) fridge was too noisy throughout the night. Was not cold as well. 6) staff were pretty rude handling check in and check out 7) carpet was dirty. Bed had specks of dust on it when first entered as well. Room does not look like the images. Was a pretty bad experience overall and definitely not value for money.

Great place. Friendly staff.

Great location, very near Taipei Main Station. Walking distance to good local food. Room is spacious, toilet is great. Great cafe space and they have coffee machine where you can get your caffeine shot every day. Staff are very helpful.

Room a bit old with cracking ceiling.

Superb

The location is excellent, just next to the main train station. So convenient and many eateries around. Next to a Uniqlo, Watsons and convenience store. Free good coffee in the lobby lounge.

Good value and convenient

Very close to Taipei main train station, close to xi men ding, walkable distance to many sights, and plenty of restaurants to choose. The room is clean and spacious, front desk is very helpful and friendly.

This hotel takes up 2 floors in a 10 floor building, which means you’re sharing elevators with many other businesses’ patrons or employees - so longer waiting time during rush hour. There is 1 instance where I have to wait for the next lift during my 1 night stay. You can hear faint noises from the street from hotel room. Not major issue, but a tad bit annoying.

It's Okay

The location was great. It was close to the station and shops. The mcdonalds in the building was convenient for early morning breakfast. The room we stayed at was spacious enough for 2 people with 5 suitcases (3 checked in and 2 carry on). The price is reasonable for the location but I would not stay for longer than 2 nights.

They consider the hotel an eco hotel and they do not clean your room during your stay; you have to request for towels or garbage bags if you need them; the toilet also did not have enough exhaust and if you are staying in a no window room, i would recommend getting a toilet spray. They have the bare minimum toiletries but lack hair conditioner and q-tips.. Lastly, they give out glitter pens as "presents" to customers who would give them a 5star rating, which i think was the biggest dealbreaker for me to not book them again.

the room was terrible. mold everywhere in the room and smell was disgusting. i felt sick after i stayed there I couldn’t even breathe, ruin the beginning of my travel. they shouldn’t sell that room. they offered me another rooms which was a but better however we booked a family room to stay 3 of us together but it was double bed room which was no useful anyway.

Bed sheet has huge stains. A LAYER of Dust all over rhe room. Shifted to stick the bed together and the floor reveal a rotten mouldy stuff not sure what is it. 20cm in length. Very bad cleanliness.

location wise it is perfect.

The aircon was very noisy, the room was dirty. they only provide cleaning for the room every 3 days, which also means toilet paper/tissue is not enough. No new towels. It was terrible.

Location was great. Facilities was excellent. Breakfast is a bargain.

Either i didn’t know how to use the remote, there was no way to really set the temperature during one of the coldest period in Taiwan. It was cold in the room. Some heater would have been nice.

Good location and spacious room

Great location, only about 5 minutes walk to the nearest train station exit. The room was spacious enough to put all our luggage and not cramped at all. Bed was firm enough and comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Will choose this place again if I do come back in future.

Although the windows were mostly tinted and unable to see the view outside, there was sufficient natural lighting in the room. It was also odd that there was no toilet roll holder and I wished there were more hooks to hang clothes.

Great hotel, great location, great value. Great stay

Location right beside Taipei station, friendly check in staff (Natasha), good value, and they gave me a free upgrade which is always nice. Also the room was very quiet, especially when you consider the location.

A little bit of mould in the room should be cleaned. A little difficult to find where exactly the entrance is.

Great little gem in the middle of taipei

The facility was great, super comfy bed, everything was clean staff were amazing, and great convenient location, very central to everything. Size of room was really good.

Was a bit difficult to find, access is only via a lift.

Classic Double No Window

The room was dark and small with no window and the bed was small too. The pillows were way too soft with no neck support. Price was on the high side given the small size room. The aircon was not working and they only wanted to provide a fan which I disagreed. They had no choice but to change my room as I will come back to stay again after I returned from Taichung. I booked a bigger room after returning from Taichung and the bed was bigger, a king sized bed. The hotel took up 2 floors in a commercial building with other hotels like Smile Inn & Apause Inn. There are also other companies and educational centres in the building. There are only 2 lifts serving which could be a longer wait at peak hours. There's a paid washer and a separate paid dryer in this hotel. The washer and dryer were good which were the only things I felt was better than the other hotel, Hinoen. The hotel is located about 5mins walking distance from the exit Z4 of Taipei Main Station, which is the only one with lift. However, Taipei Main Station is really huge with underground shopping mall and so many exits even after a week we were still unsure of the directions. Many a time we needed to back track and we're really tired from searching for the exits. Overall, it's not too bad just that I don't think I will return to this hotel on my next visit. Wouldn't recommend classic double no window.
