Der Pool, der Garten drumherum, die Aussicht, der Balkon, die ebenerdige Dusche im Zimmer. Das Hotel liegt auf dem Berg, aus Sant'Agata muss man einen knappen Kilometer hochlaufen. Taxen findet man am späteren Abend eher nicht mehr, das Auto ist also eine Notwendigkeit, insbesondere wenn man die Umgebung - Amalfi-Küste, Positano, Rafello, Sorrento, Strände - erkunden und genießen will. Wlan hat auch im Zimmer funktioniert und war stabil.

Das Frühstück erfüllt nicht den Standard eines 4-Sterne-Hotels. Der Kaffee (jede Variante!) war ungenießbar, es gab kein klassisches Müsli, nur Schoko, Cornflakes und Haferflocken, keine frischen Säfte, Obst aus der Dose und eine Schale mit Äpfeln und Orangen, die ich mir wenigsten geschält und in essbare Stücke geschnitten gewünscht hätte. Auch den Scheiblettenkäse (2 Sorten, die sich im Geschmack nicht unterschieden) konnte man eher vergessen. Lecker waren die Croissants. Das Personal verbreitet beim Frühstück eine Art Abfertigungsatmosphäre. Nachhaltigkeitskriterien sind nicht vorhanden (ein täglicher Handtuchwechsel muss wirklich nicht sein, wenn er nicht ausdrücklich gewünscht wird).

Good for one night!

Personell excelent - good help at check in. Room clean and placed in the garden - quiet place Big parking free! Good breakfast!

Too noizy in the morning on the floor...room was in the second building - no balcony but free acces to the garden.

Exceptional

Loved this hotel, the pool was small but in a lovely garden area and there were no battles for sun beds even in august. The bar and snack bar was great value and cost around 7 euros for a nice cocktail and 10 euros for a whole pizza. The little town is down a hill and is really reasonably priced as well. When heading into Sorrento there is a free shuttle at set times , if you pay for a taxi it is 80 euros and sorrento, although beautiful is very expensive , especially compared to the hotel and surrounding town. Staff were so helpful and accommodating and breakfast was nice.

All lovely , just need a better coffee machine with breakfast as the coffee is a bit tasteless, if that is all I can moan about though it has to be a good place to stay :)

A perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle!

A fantastic little hotel at the top of the hill over looking Sorrento and in the village of Sant Agata, which is a perfect step away from the hustle and bustle of the cities after travelling around Italy. We stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had breakfast every morning and it was always well laid out, clean and enjoyable. The scrambled eggs were watery but just pick from the top, the pastries were delicious and the bacon etc were lovely and enjoyed by my whole family. The staff make this hotel what it is, Veronica on reception and the others (don't know all their names) were so so helpful and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable as do the waiters in the restaurant. The cleaning staff are amazing and everyday our room was spotless and would be done by the time we came back from breakfast!! Amazing. The pool is adjacent to the hotel, just a small walk through the hotel's pool bar where you can get drinks and food. Eating out in Sant Agata is wonderful so many little bistros and restaurants to choose from but Orlando's is a must as is Mimi's. Both exceptional and friendly.

Nothing but if I had to pick something I suppose the distance from Sorrento but with the free courtesy bus laid on by the hotel it is easily reachable and you just make your plans to accommodate the bus schedule - it would be useful to have a few more times added on to this so that you could go into Sorrento for the evening if you so wished but with the last one leaving Sorrento at 7.30pm it did make it hard to eat there for dinner. We managed it once so not impossible.

Generally, it was good. The staff was helpful. Room was as presented in the photos

Breakfast. Breakfast is very low quality. Expecting to see some local cheese, bread. Instead, French Emmental cheese was the only served cheese. More ironic, there was no olive even. Breakfast did not match the total quality of the hotel.

Pleasant

Located in a small village on the hills of the Sorrentine peninsula. Free parking in front of the hotel. Nice small swimming pool.

Not too much choice and variability on breakfast. Beds in the room not confortable.

Location to village was walking distance to good shops and restaurants

That we paid for a self catering villa and had to have one hotel room for all 4 of us - for no discount. We were given breakfast but we don’t normally eat breakfast that early on holiday.

Very good

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool area was nice and clean and very relaxing. Walking distance from local village where there are many restaurants. Shuttle bus provided to and from Sorrento.

Would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in our room.

Lovely hotel, we had our own full equipped apartment cottage with a large back yard and table and chairs. a short walk to the pool and cafe/bar on site. this property had everything we needed. 5 min walk to the small town for restaurants, a shop and bars.

The property itself is located at least 20 minutes from Sorrento town and the property does offer a free shuttle service which is great but only during certain times of the year and at certain times of the day. if you arrive before June 1st you will need to pay €60 min for taxis to and from.

room was nice , clean.

It’s really far out of the way , at the top of a mountain we had a car but if you don’t it would be a nightmare to get to even with the car it’s difficult to reach,google maps took us up a short cut the road was at a slope so sharp the car couldn’t even get up. It’s so high it’s cloudy we couldn’t see in front of us driving at night so dangerous.

it was a nightmare to find, ended up on wrong road to be told it was a shortcut to hotel. Once we eventually found it views were magnificent.

finding the place had to ring for directions.

Wonderful stay away from the city center.

Wonderful studio apartment with all the amenities you need. Full kitchen to cook in. Excellent bathroom to shower in.

Off season when I was there. Things are at a slower pace. The studio was prep for arrival but the garbage bags and soaps weren’t sufficient.

Lovely stay, very memorable, St Agata is a lovely little town with many hidden gems!

The staff can’t do enough for you (thank you Candida and team!) Go with their restaraunt recommendations, you won’t be disappointed! The pool is accessed through a gate next door surrounded by gardens, it’s really peaceful. Lovely views, clean and fresh and a lovely breakfast too!

Being high up means winding roads that lead to the hotel and back to Sorrento. We chose to take the bus one night so that we could have a few cocktails on sorrento and not drive but one bus drove past us, another was full and the next one never arrived 🙃

Peaceful stay in an authentic Italy town

The hotel is located in a small town - a few nice restaurents and shops within walking distance. We were there at the end of September so the outdoors areas were closed but we still went in the pool. The room was pitch black at night and very peaceful. Parking was also availble next to our bungalow, very comfy. I would not recommend driving down Via Destero in a car if you're exiting the hotel to the left - it is very narrow and we barely made it down their in our Fiat 500, a bike or walking is fine.

When we checked in we didn't get a welcome pack or much information about the hotel, just a map of the area and the time of breakfast.

Very nice hotel, nice reception and restaurant staff, hotel close to Sorrento and Positano, great for visiting amalfi coast. Good breakfast, nice rooms, I can highly recommend👍
