Ruhig, aber feucht.

Lage, Ruhe.

Die meterdicken Wände waren kalt, entsprechend feucht war es im Zimmer. Beim Frühstücksbuffet wurde alles erklärt, wie wenn wir noch nie Wurst, Käse oder Joghurt gesehen hätten. Für das Gebotene ernormer Zimmerpreis, der nicht einmal ein 2. Frühstücksgetränk enthielt. Frühstück von 8 bis 10, schon um 8:30 waren die Brötchen aus.

Ein Ort mit Geschichte

Das gesamte Ensemble, ein historischer Ort in der Entstehung um 1790 sehr gepflegte Anlage, im Garten mit weitem Blick aufs Meer sehr schön auch die kleine „Führung“ zu Beginn des Aufenthaltes Super Frühstücksraum und sehr gutes Angebot

Lovely staff .. not as great as anticipated

Staff were really helpful and lovely. Perfect to use as a base for touring but you will need a car because of its location. Certainly not as isolated as the hotel info would suggest. Its in a busy commune

Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel was beautiful and had an old world charm.

We had booked a room with a sea view. The room had no view what so ever but the hotel had an outdoor seating area with a sea view. The room description was misleading. Breakfast was ok and everything was cold. The coffee was extra strong.

Unfortunately we only got to spend one night at this wonderful villa. It was definitely a very memorable experience and will definitely come back here soon. The staff was wonderful and provided us all the support we needed even some wonderful recommendations for restaurants nearby. They're very knowledgeable about the nearby area and helped us provide some good options for excursions and adventures. But waking up in the morning in this amazing castle was definitely a bucket list item for us. We will surely be coming back again in the future. Great location. Very good parking. Breakfast that was amazing. Farm fresh jams are a great novelty. Rooms are breathtaking. Definitely would recommend Napoli room. You feel like a king of the castle.

Beautiful holiday in wonderful place

Breakfast was reach, fresh and tasty, excellent bakery, cappuccino above all expectations. Cleanness - incredible. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they always suppose you different services, organize excursions, reserve places in restaurants. We know only 2 names : Sergio and Emiliana, but all other employees are at the high level. The building itself is historical, the territory is very large, you always can find a shadow corner. Parking is free and spacious. Bathroom is equipped with good facilities. Location - in the middle of city, easy to go any direction. What else is needed for pleasant holiday ?

If there is possible to improve something, Sergio works on it daily.

A very nice, small and quiet place, worth a visit. Extremely friendly owner who gave us a lot of information about the surrounding places, transfers and local restaurants. Although our goal was to visit the Amalfi Coast, staying at Il Turro Villa was one of the most beautiful and authentic experiences of this trip. I hope we can return to this beautiful place. We are happy to recommend!

Historic place, plenty of space (we had the biggest suite), calmness, a good breakfast in a cosy diniing room with charm, close to Sorrento (20 minute drive) and the Amalfi coast, but with the quiteness of a village, Danila was a perfect host

Superb

We visited in early October. The sunset from the garden with the view the ocean was superb. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast has great variety and quality produce. Danilla provided excellent advice and recommendations. Very simple bus journey into Sorrento near the front of the Villa, but we enjoyed the quietness of not staying in a big town. Would recommend and revisit Villa il Turro.

a fabulous stay in a unique place. highly recommended.

The villa is old with very thick walls and has character. You are away from the main crowds in Sorrento but can easily access there when you want. we hired a car so could do a quick 20 minute drive to have a wonder around the beautiful old town. the villa is near a small village with great pizzeria/ trattoria - a camerrella which we really liked. We took all of the recommendations from our host Danelli and they were all excellent. if you want great personal al service away from the crowds the. this is a great place. The weather wasn’t great for the week we stayed but we loved the place, the hospitality, the people the food the scenery and pretty much everything. didn’t want to go home!

Amazing house keeper, very nice services.

Manager showed us a tour of the Villa, very interesting. and for breakfast house keeper prepared very nicely and tells us what are these, very useful to know Italian food. House keeper recommend a nice restaurant as well.From the Villa, we saw the sunset vey nice.

Quiet and wonderful historic accommodation

The breathtaking views from the garden/terrace, the unique historic building from 1790 is wonderful to stay in and Danila was just the sweetest host always there to accommodate and give information to you. Bonus was the breakfast, you should try the homemade lemon marmalade… So we highly recommend Villa Il Turro and we hope to come back soon!

very old building some dating back to the 18 th century. huge courtyard overlooking the sea. great feeling of castle. amazing breakfast . Daniala the manager is exceptional and explained the history and layout of premises.
