Really enjoyed our time there.

Staff were extremely helpful with all our needs. They were unable to extend my stay, due to a medical emergency as they were fully booked, but rang around to find me alternative accommodation. Super friendly and helpful.

bad experience!

we ordered a cot and they provided a portable and cheap one which was so bad. they said it is standard and charged us 40 dollars. after they took money, they couldn't provide a formal receipt. If I need a portable one I can bring the better one. the staff was also not friendly. the car parking lot lost the number, really annoying when looking for it. I stayed here in 2014 so I rebooked. but never again because it is so bad now.

Great place for a family to stay in Cairns.

Location location location. Friendly staff and great room. Comfortable furnishings and everything you need for a self contained holiday.

Absolutely Wonderful Hotel

Everything about the hotel was wonderful. The Owner was Tony was lovely and gave us some really good spots to check out close to the hotel. The pool and spa area was definitely well used during our stay as it was just beautiful! We will definitely be back next time we head to cairns!

Satisfied but not overly impressed

The hotel was conveniently located. The staff were very friendly. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for a family of 4 in the top floor suite. Access to the building was easy and felt safe.

The apartment was not very clean (dead bugs and cockroaches) on arrival. The tea and coffee facilities were sparse with 2 sachets of coffee/sugar - enough for one person, one morning. The plates and cutlery were dirty. I washed up all dishes before use. A little frustrating when paying $300+/ night.

View across park to ocean. Just across road from the esplanade. Good spacious balcony. Spacious and comfortable. Good parking. Pleasant location but long walk to Cairns centre.

Spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Quiet location about a 20 minute walk from the main hub along a lovely walkway with plenty of shade and benches.

Patchy WiFi and despite advertising we couldn't get Foxtel on TV. However as we were out all day we didn't need to watch much TV anyway.

Good comfortable and affordable accommodation in the heart of Cairns.

Fantastic location and close to everything. The unit was very comfortable and the view out over the water was an added bonus. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them.

The wifi was very hit and miss and dropped out frequently.

Great stay.

Roomy apartment with all the facilities of home. Staff were friendly and happy to provide advice about the area. Secure premises and just around the corner from the Dunwoodie hotel and some cafes. A bit of walk to the CBD but the walk along the board walk was worth it.

We were all happy with our stay and would recommend it . It was definitely very good value.

Although on a lower floor the view of the ocean and parkland from the unit was impressive and the fact that both bedrooms and the living area had full wall windows towards the view was exceptional. Older style design also meant that the rooms were more spacious. Most impressed with walk in robe in main bedroom. I was also most grateful for the caring way in which manager Sandy handled a medical situation and her tremendous patience and time taken in arranging a particular outing for two of the party . The hot spa was also much appreciated by one member of the group.

I wonder whether more could be done about access at the main entrance. So many stairs especially for those with a mobility issue. There is definitely not much to dislike about this property.

Good value in North Cairns

We had a very spacious apartment. Split systems and fans in both bedrooms and also the living room. Carpet in the lounge room and bedrooms was novel for FNQ and added a level of comfort. Kitchen very spacious but equipped minimally. Was adequate for basic cooking (breakfast and pasta). Balcony door was heavy which reduced some of the neighborhood noise including from the airport, but made it difficult to open and close. There’s a fabulous cafe just north of the apartment- Guyala.

The pool was too cold to swim (not unusual for this time of year in Cairns). The balcony door was sticky.
