Increíble hostal en Zicatela, perfecto para un viaje hacia el interior 🙏🏼

La tranquilidad y los espacios verdes y la vibra. Me gustó mucho el área común y la independencia de Cada habitación. Nico es súper amable y atento, brinda muy buenas recomendaciones de lugares para comer.

Amazing place to stay at La Punta

Amazing place with a terrace to do yoga and meet people, everything was clean and staff is very kind and helpful. Location was also great directly at La Punta and next to the beach!

Best place to stay in La Punta

We had a great time in the new era of OneLove and were one of the first guests to experience the new concept. The bungalows are very spacious and clean. The cold water is not a problem in the warm temperatures. All the information for tours, food etc. is in the brochure in the room. We can only recommend the accommodation and thank Nicolas for his hospitality.

A few parasols (e.g. for hire) for the beach would be nice. :)

Go for it!

One love ist ein entspanntes Hostel 1 min zu Fuss vom Strand entfernt. Morgens kann man gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis Yoga machen und die Lehrer sind wirklich toll. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und die Betten sind bequem. Bei Temperaturen über 30 Grad ist das nicht warme Wasser eine Wohltat. Man sollte sich im klaren darüber sein das es nur Ventilatoren im Zimmer gibt.

Die Küche ist sehr klein und das Restaurant im Hostel schließ um 15 Uhr als Alternative muss man ausgehen. Es gibt keinen richtigen Gemeinschaftbereich und Aktivitäten werden nicht angeboten. ( damit meine ich sowas wie Sunset walks...) Je nachdem wenn man im Zimmer hat kann es schwer sein Anschluss zu finden.

Overall okay, but not having a first aid kit is unaccaptable

I enjoyed the rooftop with hammocks, big bathroom in the dorm and I met awesome people there. Girl that serves breakfast was very lovely and helpfull.

Expensive for what you get, pool was dirty (green) and there were problems with water. Manager was rude about that too. My friend got bitten by a dog and the night guard said they didn’t have a first aid kit, which is very unsafe…

Clean and spacious accommodation located a bit out of the main street but in walking distance. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is tasty and it's a very calm place to sleep well. Definitely recommend to stay there.

The vibe of the hostel is really nice and it feels like a little magical garden. It was really quiet and laid back, the personell was super nice. Especially the yoga classes were awesome.

Although the hostel ist located next to the beach, it takes ~15min walk to either La Punta or Zicatela which should be known.

Exceptional

Beautiful, tropical gardens surrounding the bungalows, clean and well taken care of. Wonderful staff working there. Will definitely stay there again next time. yoga classes on the terrace above their café, close to the beach.

Garden, cold pool, rooftop yoga and hammocks

Hard uncomfortable beds and hard lumpy pillows, really noisy at night, dogs barking and roosters crowing all night, difficult to sleep. Headboard on wall had someone’s greasy head print. Towels and linens are really worn out and yet the price per night is almost double what it was four years ago.

Everything was fine, just like in photos. The staff was nice and helpful.

Green territory, clean room with spacious bathroom. Nice terrace and lobby. Close to the main street with bars and restaurants.

Paradise

Omg I can not say how highly I rate this hostel. It is perfect. The bunks are in cute little cabins with thatched roofs. There is foliage everywhere, each room has its own private terrace with hammock and table and chairs and there's a communal one too. It's idyllic.

Cold showers but a small price to pay for heaven on earth.

Great hostel with great team

Nico and his team are great, always there to help you! The whole atmosphere in the hostel is amazing. It´s definitely a quiet place to rest and charge up your batteries, but if you want to party there are a lot of possibilities near by. Also there is a lot of food to tase and explore. The beach is a 30 seconds walk away and not crowded at all. There are only 4 bed dorms and each has it´s own bathroom. Everything is being cleaned every day, which is great since you always bring back some sand from the beach. All in all it is a great place to stay and value for money.

Very friendly staff, cute huts. Close to the beach and downtown La Punta, but far enough from all the bars to be quiet. Rooms are cleaned every day

No AC despite it being mentioned as a facilitet on Booking.com (only a fan, but it was ok), no hot water in showets, very bad and dim light in the rooms

one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at

we stayed in one of the huts (Morison) and it was very comfortable, clean and perfect for a couple. the hostel itself is in a perfect location close to the beach and the bars in la punta. the communal space at the bar is very welcoming and the food was very tasty. the best part of this hosts was the staff though, all very welcoming and super helpful; they helped us with booking activities and with suggestions for where we were going next. couldn’t recommend any more!

beautiful oasis in Puerto Escondido

It is an oasis in Puerto Escondido. we spent around 20 days in total in Oaxaca (in different places) and this one was probably one of the best hotels we stated in. We were surprised because it was probably one of our cheapest and we were not expecting what we found at all. The hotel is beautiful, really well decorated, super clean, the landscape is beautiful and well-kept. We loved staying there! they tell you before you arrive that payments are in cash and there’s no hot water (for us was no problem because it is really hot outside and you really appreciate it) but I don’t understand when people complain about this because it was part of their rules, and they disclose as soon as you make the reservation.

super great rooms, cool little hostal. everyone said the yoga classes were good but I never did any myself.

could try and arrange some events on some nights to help people mix and mingle a little more. it’s a little bit further away from the main area but not that bad.

the stuff was really nice we slept at the only girls dorm and the room was cleaned every day there is also yoga classes and a nice restaurant overall I would recommend it if you don’t mind the walk

the location was a bit far from the center of la punta (10min)
