Nice location and great river view, but not calm ...

Location is good, near the river. The swimming pool area has a really nice view, but should be renovated. Breakfast is ok, enjoying the view on the river while having a coffee is amazing.

Don't come here if you enjoy quiet nights ... You have a choice between the noise of the street for some rooms, or the noise from the concerts on the river for the other ones. The rooms are nice but some equipment could be renovated.

Super!

Fijne kamer met grote douche , stille airco en heerlijk ontbijt inbegrepen, wat dagelijks wisselde. Fijn zwembad met gratis handdoeken service . Je zit op 10 minuten lopen van het centrum en half uurtje van oude centrum.

In den Zimmern unten ist es eventuell etwas laut, da Leute vorbeilaufen, telefonieren etc. und das Personal nicht auf die Ruhezeiten hinweist.

Great place to stay

This hotel is really a hidden gem! It looks unassuming from the front, but once we get in and walk straight to the garden, it's a WOW moment! Neat, calming, and intimate. This is the place I have spent zen moment in the quiet morning and the late evening. Just sitting on the deck by the river watching the sky changes colors was so contemplative. Their breakfast is excellent! They change the variety every day, so there's something to be expected every morning. Their egg fried rice is the best I ever tasted throughout my 1 week journey in Thailand. The staffs hospitality were EXCELLENT! Double thumbs up!

Amazing location

Amazing riverside area. Relaxing and spacious. Pool. Lots of loungers. Free water and coffee. Breakfast was OK, nothing special, but good to have it. Near to tourist stuff at eastern end of town, but feels separate and tranquil. Local market with food options nearby. Good value.

Room was not great. It was tiny and had zero storage. Floor not the cleanest. Irritating layout of shower, toilet, and sink. Staff OK but a bit indifferent. Pool cold, but most are here.

we loved everything about the I-river, the location on the Ping River, convenient for town. the main plus was the staff who were very helpful and obliging always doing things with a smile.

Cute hotel while next to a noisy street

- Nice, small hotel that is really close to the old city - everything is in a walking distance - Beautiful terrace with a view to the river and a refreshing pool which is amazing to relax after a long day - Very friendly staff - Great breakfast

- Very, very noisy :( the hotel is located next to a busy street and we could hear cars the whole night, besides there’s a bar in front of the hotel which also had live music until very late - I really enjoyed the hotel though I doubt I would stay again since it was just too hard to fall asleep :(

perfect hotel

Super clean and well located Hotel. The staff is incredibly helpful, stored my luggage almost one whole day at the reception. Could use the hotel area until my departure time with no extra charge. Breakfast was good, as a vegan being always hard to find food but the selection was good and adequate. Coffee/Water/Biscuit the whole day.

Incredible views and value!

A beautiful hotel along the Ping river. Always water and coffee available. Beautiful grounds and pool. Very nice staff. I have stayed here before and I will continue to return to when in Chang Mai. Best hotel in town.

Good location, very small room

The breakfast was good with a variety of food and beverages. The location was nice being right on the river and conveniently located to walk for dinner, coffee or even a little groceries

The room location was poor. We heard the kitchen staff setting up for breakfast at 5am and because we were at the end of a long hallway we could hear everyone come back to their rooms late at night and then set-up for breakfast early in the morning so we didn’t get much sleep.

Exceptional

The location on the banks of the Ping River is incredible. I wish I has planned to hang out around the hotel. Instead I was out everyday. Once you enter the hotel, you are in an enclosed 'secret' garden with the river flowing past. The breakfast - a selection of local Thai food and western cereals, etc. was great. Machine brewed coffee and biscuits/cookies available around the clock is an excellent idea. A great supermarket, five eating places - different budgets, styles and palates are within 5 minutes on foot (including one across the river accessible via the iconic 'Iron Bridge' Khualek).

The swimming pool could be opened earlier. 9 am to 9 pm is not good enough. I would suggest 6 am to 9 pm. By 9 am, I am already out of the hotel either for work or leisure. The room I got had no windows - could be claustrophobic for some people.
