Tolle Kommunikation!

Amazing spot in Minca to enjoy the jungle sounds and have a peaceful time. We loved our cabana with hammocks, the hosts, the breakfasts. The cabana is gorgeous with bamboo and mosquito nets and amazing shower with jungle views. Having screens for walls really immerses you in the tropical rainforest.
What we at first didn’t like became part of the adventure. It’s a ten minute walk into Minca town but first you have to walk 15 minutes from your cabin to the road through the jungle on a trail with stairs and hills and crossing a River on a bamboo bridge. It’s part of the experience of the place and the owners son helps you with your bags when you arrive and leave.

In the middle of the jungle, very private. The family that runs the camp is very very nice and helpful.
Just need to know that there is 10 min walk in the forest to the cabin. Better not bring big bags or suitcase.

Dore was super welcoming and helpful!
it’s well worth the walk from the village to stay in this magical place.

We really enjoyed the time at Minca Glamping. The location outside of the village, in the middle of nature, was perfect for us. We loved our little cabin very much. The open design gave us the feeling of sleeping outside. The noises from all the animals were amazing. In addition, everything was super clean and comfortably furnished. The breakfast was delicious and the owners were very friendly and helpful.

We loved everything. The family/staff were wonderful; very friendly and helpful. We were given a wonderful fruit drink at check-in. The accommodation was wonderful and the environment great. The accommodation is open to the outside with screening and it makes for a wonderful sleeping and relaxing experience. The quality of the accommodation, chairs, hammocks, while rustic are very good quality and totally fit with the cabins. The bamboo construction is just wonderful. If you want the ideal get away and relaxation spot you will not find better. I also liked that while you are definitely in the jungle the grounds are lightly gardened and tended which just adds to the beauty.
Nothing. It was all great.

Such an amazing place! I'd stay there forever if I could hahaha!😁 Was so nice to wake up with the sun in the morning, hearing the roosters and birds, and the nearby stream!😍 Nature everywhere, far from the crowd and noise, if you look for a relax - it's a perfect place! If you're animal lover, like me - perfect place too!😊 there were little chicks and cats, hens, turkeys, turtles, lizards, humming birds!😍 if you don't like insects though - it might be a bit challenging hahah, as they live there too, but there are nets everywhere, even covering the beds, so although I'm not the fan of them, it wasn't hard to survive!😆 the place is located some 20 minutes walking from the centre of Minca, it's better to bring backpack instead of suitcase - but anyway you can always count on the help of Nore and Carlos!😊 They're such nice people, very helpful, caring, making you feel like home, aaaand there's also Antonella - super cute little girl that gave me such a warm welcome, caught chicks for me, introduced me to the cats and her little turtle, and help me with moving my stuff to the other hut as I was given an upgrade!😁 There were some works going on near my hut so I was asked if I wanna change the hut for the better one!😄 Both of them were lovely though, lots of space inside, comfy big beds, everything clean - couldn't wish for more!🥰 It's like a little paradise and if I'm ever in Minca again - I know where to go!😊
There's only cold water in the shower 🥶... Not freezing cold but not hot😆 still - after the Lost City tour I was used to that, and after all it's warm outside so it's not a big deal!🙂 Also I was planning to start cold showers "therapy", putting it off all the time though, so now at least I had no more excuses😂

Amazing location if you are looking for a quiet location. Cute wooden cabins with open walls (with the net). Perfect place for relax.
The hosts were very nice. They don't understand English, we don' understand much Spanish but they make all the effort trying to understand us and we agreed everything. Also thanks to translation app :)
Location is 20 minut walk from the village (shops, restaurants) or 10 minutes from the road (moto taxis available)
Everything was perfect!

Really enjoyed our stay here. We loved being slightly out of town and really enjoyed the walk there. The situation is fantastic. So lovely to chill in our hammock and hear the birds... Hosts were great and super helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely loved it here! It is in the most stunning place and you feel really apart of it in their unique rooms! I walked to the waterfall from here but my husband just spent all day in the hammock in the room and to be honest - I was little jealous! The hosts are super easy to connect with and very helpful. I can't recommend a couple nights here more. It's so peaceful and with the jungle air and sounds - you will get the best sleep of your life!
Nothing - it was great! Literally nothing that I would change about this place. Great work!

Brilliant cabaña located in the "jungle"! Very comfortable and charming, all made out of bamboo and thatch, lots of space, huge balcony, with hammock, nice, fresh baño, sights and sounds of nature. Lovely and helpful staff. And best part was being 30 mins jungly walk from Minca, just enough to be far away from the chaos, noise, etc., but just right to be able to tramp into town for meals!
Just the weak wifi signal but not really such a big deal.

One if our favourite places to stay at in all of Colombia! We would gladly go back any time. If you don’t mind walking a bit up hill and through the forest to get there, you are rewarded with tranquility and peace. It’s a 20 minute walk from the centre of Minca on the way to Marinka waterfalls. You are surrounded by nature and Nore and Carlo are super lovely and attentive hosts. There is a small bridge crossing the river now. Having a flash light is essential in order to find your way around at night.
Nothing. We absolutely loved it!

My favorite place that we stayed in Columbia.
The location is breath taking, safe, and walking distance from Minca village. It took us 20 mins to walk from our favorite restaurant Lazy Cat to the house. The whole area is fenced and you will get a key for the gate. There's a solid bamboo bridge for crossing the river, which was calm and shallow at the time. We enjoyed every walk, especially by night and I recommend to take a head torch with you. It's a great experience to stay in the jungle, separated from mosquitos and other insects but almost outside, because part of the house construction are nets. You can watch the mountains, nature and moon from your bed. In the morning you will be awakened by a gang of chickens and turkeys:D. The rooster is definitely the king of jungle in this area.
The place is spotless, spacious, and very well maintained. The hosts are such lovely, responsive, helpful and welcoming folks. We enjoyed the simple but delicious breakfast and fresh fruits. There are many attractions and hikes nearby.
Thank you for a wonderful time and memorable experience ♥️

Lovely cabaña in the "jungle". Quiet, comfortable, fresh and a wonderful feeling of isolation from Minca. But just 25 min hike to get into town for meals. Lovely, helpful staff. Strong recommendation!

We had the best stay at Mina Glamping. Some of the other comments say, that the location is a bit far away but for us was it the perfect mix of being close to the city but also being totally inside the nature. Even if the way to the hostel is like a short hike, the host ask if need help for our luggage and sent someone for the way up.
The hut is really cute, clean and it felt like sleeping in the jungle. The Host-Family is super polite and open for every question in person or via WhatsApp. Breakfast was delicious and prepared with love.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. We met Nora where they had arranged for us to store our luggage and she graciously walked us to our accommodations. The bungalows were absolutely beautiful. It was so quiet. A little piece of heaven! Breakfast was included and super yummy. Nora also arranged for us to have motor taxis arranged for us. She was so kind! It was a wonderful stay!
I wish we could have stayed more than one night.

We loved our stay at Minca Glamping and would highly recommend it. The place is owned by a local family, which were excellent hosts. The communication with us was excellent and Nore took care of booking all our transportation needs while we were there (including getting us to Cartagena). Breakfast was good and she did her best to accommodate our foreign tummies that were starting to need a break from traditional Colombian food.
The cabin/room was our own little piece of paradise. Spacious, and surprisingly clean for being completely surrounded by jungle. A couple bugs here and there but less than I expected considering we were "glamping". Two layers of screen/net protected us completely from mosquitos and other insects while sleeping.
We felt so at piece and relaxed while staying here. It was such a nice break from the city and felt very private. Their daughter, Antonela and her pet turtle Tina were a joy to have around at breakfast. We were very warmly welcomed.
Muchas Gracias Nore y Antonela! Tuvimos una estancia maravillosa con usted.
We were surprised that the trail to get there requires the crossing of a shallow river. It's a bit of an inconvenience to get into town because you always have to take your shoes off to cross (there is no bridge) on top of a 10 minute walk down a muddy trail. The place is well worth the walk and river crossing, but something you should be aware of when booking. Highly recommend you checkin while there is daylight.
That being said, you don't ever have to leave to get food since the family offers to deliver food from town to you if you do not feel like making the 20min walk (for a very small fee).

The room was awesome, quiet, and at the top of the hill. The person in charge was very responsive and helpful

The incredible view the beautiful hut and fresh flowers and lovely big bed with crisp fresh linen and all the wildlife . Nore was so kind and helpful and even ordered us a takeaway as it's dark by 5.45 and the path to and from minca muddy and difficult in dark. We were in heaven in our cabin

EVERYTHING! the location was outside town but near enough that you could walk. The room was amazing - so clean and big and the bed was massive. The veranda had a large hammock and a swing chair plus a coffee maker. With the walls being made if netting you could view the mountain from your bed. Spectacular as there was a couple of thunderstorms during the night. There were also loads of fireflies just after dark which made it so magical. Noreidis was so helpful the whole time and along with her husband, daughter and 3 cats they made it a wonderful stay.
That I couldn't stay longer. Other than that absolutely nothing.

+ Very nice location in the jungle (20min walk from the village Minca)
+ Very nice staff
+ You can order food and drinks at two very good and cheap restaurants. The staff delivers it add your door.
+ Excellent breakfast incl. fresh fruits
- DON'T DRINK THE TAPWATER!!! We both got sick for 1.5 day. The owners warned us, so it was our own mistake. It only felt inconvenient to ask for a watertug of 1.5L each time. But please do this. It turns out that higher located villages dump trash in the water which makes it contaminated.
- You need to cross a river of 10m wide by foot each time you go to the village. This rivers gets as high as your knees (I'm 1.95m tall). It does add to the jungle experience of this glamping. For us, we didn't go the village more than one time per day.
- Our last day at the glamping we had a blackout for 20 hours. They brought us candles so that was very kind and added well to the experience.
Tip: if you let your food delivered by the staff they cross this river in the dark for you, so please tip well!

Carlos and Noreidis were really friendly people. Carlos helped carrying our luggage and Noreidis made us an early breakfast so we could leave on time.
The accommodation is really difficult to reach. We had read the information beforehand still we were flabbergasted what we saw when we got to Minca. A regular car can't make it to the entrance gate of the glamping. The roads were super muddy (no raining season!). Than the path from the gate to the glamping could hardly be called a 'path'. Muddy and tiny! After 5 minutes we had to cross a river with all our luggage barefoot! This river you have to cross everytime you want to go out! This makes it nearly impossible to go out for dinner in town. Also, because it gets super dark and there is no lighting.
The cabin was quite nice but definitely not insect proof! We had spiders, butterflies and other insects inside the cabin and even in the bed.
Altogether, this was not what we expected. It might be for you if you're into some adventure!
Recommendation: bring your hiking boots or waterproof sandals.
