About this house rental

Pet Friendly. Low set brick house with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 living areas. Plenty of storage for boats/jetskis/canoes, side gate for boats and a lockup garage , please no caravans. It has a beautiful big courtyard for plenty of entertaining even in the not so shiny weather. Linen and bath towels are provided, dogs are allowed inside - please bring pets own bedding. Large fenced yard for the pups to play in.

This lovely 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom air conditioned home is situated 300 metres from one of Hervey Bay's best dog friendly beaches. Short stroll to the Marina.

The light and airy lounge room is well equipped with a large LCD HD TV and DVD player, sound system with ipod holder and a large selection of movies (including childrens). There is also a good variety of board games for all the family's enjoyment and a second living room for the kids to enjoy playing on the Wii.

There is also a portacot for hire for a small fee.

A Real Home Away From Home

The house has been equipped with all new furniture, electrical appliances new T.V. in the second living room and T.V. and DVD player in both the main living area and Master Bedroom. There are brand new reverse cycle air conditioners in both the lounge/dining and the master bedroom.

There are 2 queen size beds, while the third bedroom contains 2 single beds and the fourth bedroom has one single bed. All linen is supplied unless otherwise requested. The master bedroom has a walk in robe and large ensuite with a double shower.

Each bedroom has ceiling fans, security screens, curtains and blinds on the windows. Both Queen bedrooms and the twin room have large size built ins.

In the laundry we have a top loader washing machine and 6kg clothes dryer, there is also a full sized ironing board and iron.

A starter pack consisting of sugar, coffee, tea, washing powder and laundry powder are provided on arrival.

Shangrila is situated in the quiet area of Urangan and not too far away from the Hervey Bay Marina.

Plan a day trip to beautiful Fraser Island. Fraser Island was recently voted No. 2 best Queensland destination & Hervey Bay Whale Watching was voted No. 5 best Queensland destination

Whale watching cruises start in July and run through until November each year.

Try your hand at putt putt, go-carting, water skiing, kite boarding, parasailing, all within a few minutes drive. The FREE water park is only a 5 minute drive away, great fun for the kids and relaxing for the adults.

This property was fantastic. I loved i could bring my dogs. Everything had been thought of. It is big and spacious. The dogs had a great time too. Very close to the beach. A friendly neighbourhood. I loved the pics on the wall just to make it that bit more special.

An amazing place to stay for a family, especially if you are bringing along your furry family member (in our case 2 teens - 14 and 17, and our 1-year-old Vizsla). Plenty of room in the back yard, rooms are clean and spacious and all you need to cater for your family at home. Owners are fantastic to communicate with. Will definitely look to stay here again when visiting Hervey Bay. It definitely felt like our home away from home.

Beautiful home for the whole family including fur babies. The whole family enjoyed our 2 week stay. So well equiped, games for the children and the equipment ( dog bowls, toys ). Wanted for nothing. Highly recommend. The owners were attentive to a repair that was required. Fixed the same day. Thankyou so much

We were 5 ladies age over 70. We loved the house.heaps of extra,s in house & cupboards. We played one of the games in cupboard, had a laugh. Close to things we wanted to go to. Only minus was the lighting not good for a lovely home, very hard to see. Thank you again. Kris

Very clean, big house. Great for any size family. Excellent for boaties, 2 driveways and room for longer trailer boats also. Close to Urangan Pier, Boat Harbour, marina etc. Close to main shops, awesome place to stay with yr family and pets🙂👍

Great property. Its the little details like having hand wash, whashing up supplies and shampoo and conditioner at the ready of you need it. Really felt like a resort but at home. The property is an amazing size. Our kids especially enjoyed having a tv area to themselves (as did we). Not far from a pet friendly beach and a great back yard for our dog to run around in We will definatly be staying again for sure! Such a great property and location in a quiet area.

Such a great place to stay and so beautifully presented. The dogs are fully catered for and a great yard for kids and pets. Very close to all amenities including short walk to dog beach. The perfect place to get away. 5 stars are well deserved.

We enjoyed our stay at Shangra La. The property was spotless and the dogs throughly enjoyed the garden. We would recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in that area. Very clean house. All the appliances clean and working. Complete sets if pots pans crockery and cutlery etc. Great back yard for the dogs and property is walking distance to the shops and beach. Great stay.

From the moment we opened the front door, we knew we were staying somewhere perfect. The house was absolutely immaculate. There was a wonderful welcome gift, Christmas decorations, everything our four legged traveller needed, comfy beds, soft towels. It really is a fantastic house to stay in. A short walk down the road to an off leash beach and a yard that was well fenced and a great size. We cannot recommend this house more and thank Greg and Jo for providing it.

It was great, the property managers had thought of everything, down too tooth brushes and body wash. It has a great back yard for the dogs to play in and well secured, close to all amenities by car, would certainly recommend this property and I look forward to book again in the future if it is available.

This was our 2nd stay at Shangri-La - the house has everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing visit. Neighbourhood is quiet. Clean, spacious and with comfortable beds. The fenced back yard was perfect for our dog, with the covered outside entertainment area (also able to be closed off) giving shelter during the day. Joanne was always quick to respond to any questions and very accommodating of our needs. While on the southern end of the Hervey Bay area, you have easy access to the boat harbour, and it is only a few kms to the esplanade’s shops and food areas, or to the shopping area along Boat Harbour Drive. Not that you need to go too far as shopping and food options can be found within 1km. Dog friendly beaches are close by as well.
