Au top !

Excellent accueil de la part de nos hôtes qui sont un couple trés sympatique et attentionné. Toujours là pour vous aider si besoin. Le petit déjeuner est exeptionnel avec de bons gateaux fait maison , des fruits... La chambre est trés propre et l'hébergement est situé dans un quartier calme de la ville mais proche de tout y compris de la gare pour se rendre à Gênes et autres villages avoisinant.

Ein perfekter Ort um Genua und Umgebung zu erkunden.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Das Zimmer war einfach aber geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es war alles da was wir benötigten. (Eventuell eine Schachtel Kleenex im Bad wäre noch gut.) Vom Balkon aus konnten wir ein Stückchen Meer erhaschen und jeden Abend einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang bewundern. Das Frühstück war wunderbar. Nicht ein Riesenbuffet, aber dafür konnten wir alles bestellen wonach es uns gelüstete. Eier, Waffeln, selbstgebackenen Kuchen usw. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Das Betreiberpaar war unglaublich hilfsbereit und freundlich. Der Bahnhof war 10 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt. Das Hotel liegt in einer Privatstrasse welche mit einer Barriere geschlossen wird. Man kommt nur mit einem Code durch die Schranke. Dadurch kein Verkehr und nachts unglaublich ruhig. Ich bin sehr lärmempfindlich und konnte ohne Gehörschutz schlafen.

Das Doppelbett hatte nur eine Matratze. Für uns ältere Personen nicht mehr so opportun. Wir hätten nur etwas sagen sollen dann hätten wir zwei Matratzen bekommen.

We had a lovely stay, enhanced by the hosts advice about things to do in the area.

We had a room with a veranda which we sat out on. There was a garden with table & chairs which would have been lovely to use but we ran out of time

Very comfortable room, villa is close to the beach, the staff/owner is helpful and caring.

There was air conditioning in the room. The breakfast included home made cakes, cookies, everything was delicious. Coffee at any time of the day.

Everything was simply amazing, from first moment of greeting with smile, through getting all recommendations on where to go, what to see or try, up to awesome breakfast. I can't thank enough for everything, it's simply place to stay at! 10 of 10!

Lovely hostess and a charming bed and breakfast

The room we stayed in was beautiful and comfortable! The best part of our stay was the very kind hostess who made every effort to provide a nice stay! We needed to leave early and she provided lovely breakfast cakes for us to take with us. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy her hospitality.

Only wish the location had a view of the ocean, but the property was lovely.

Nervi is a beautiful quiet little gem of a place x Our stay here was magical and one I will never forget

The location was fabulous and the owners just incredibly helpful. Full of information and fascinating stories about Nervi. Owner even called restaurant for us to make a booking. Was made to feel so welcome. Room was beautiful in a quiet street. Everything so close. went on some great trails nearby and saw so much wildlife. Best stay ever x

Nervi, a hidden gem!

Our hosts were delightful and couldn't do enough for us. They had many suggestions and recommendations to make our stay pleasant. The homemade breakfast goodies were a special treat. The location was handy to the train station and shops.

Nothing to complain about, but a small bar fridge in the room might have come in handy for our drinks and fruit.

It was real treat to stay in this modernised traditional villa

Well appointed tastefully updated traditional city villa, set in a quiet barrier controlled cul de sac. Our room was consistent with a very good 3 star Italian hotel. The bed and pillows were excellent and we enjoyed breakfast. We parked right outside assisted by the owner and it felt very safe. We followed the owner’s advice for gelato and dinner.

Quaint and cosy

Situated in a nice quiet part of Genoa. The small town was quiet but still lots of people enjoying the local wine bars etc. The town was beautiful with all the lights everywhere (not sure wether it's because it's Christmas). There is the promenade but sadly as much as i wanted to have a walk down there i was only there a long weekend so went to Genoa and portofino and santa margherita instead on the train (Station being around a 5 min walk from the property) The property was gorgeous, very typical Italian. I think it has 5 guestrooms. Everything you need for a pleasant stay. Rooms cleaned everyday and the hosts ensured everything was perfect for you. Breakfast consisted of home made cakes, tea, coffee, espresso, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, and would gladly knock up an omlette for you etc..also great at giving you local advice and nothing too much trouble for them both. The grounds were beautiful with lemon trees and olive trees growing around the property. I would definitely stay there again.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is travelling to Genoa region. The hosts were lovely and very helpful, room was cosy and the bed was comfortable, breakfast was very good as well. The villa is a short walk from the train station, so you can easily get around the coast. Nervi is a lovely little town which we enjoyed exploring too. Thank you for hosting us!

I had high hopes from the previous evaluations that I had seen and I was not disappointed.

First and foremost, the owners were extremely welcoming. They gave us advice on where we might eat. Breakfast was generous with plenty to eat and the host was happy to provide fresh options.

A delightful villa in Nervi !

I loved the location of Villa Moderna. Nervi is a lovely suburb of Genoa, with easy access to the centre and the feel of a small town. All services are accessible along the main road and there are beautiful parks and a long walkway along the water. Breakfast is plentiful and homemade every morning. Hosts, Seloua and Matteo are both charming and friendly. They both speak English and are happy to share recommendations for their town. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, the bed comfortable and the bathroom large and bright.

If we were to return to Nervi this would be the place for sure.

The hosts were great and very well informed about the town we stayed in. They gave excellent advices on where to go for food, sightseeing and swimming. In generall our stay felt very much like a home in another country and we were impressed by the generosity of the hosts.

one of the best accomodation I've ever stayed in ! definitely worth of 10 points in booking.com score. If it was possible to give 11 points, I would give it and if we are staying in Liguria region we will stay here again. Villa Moderna is very nice villa in italian style with only few guest rooms, so it's very quiet "inside" as well as "outside" because it is located in private street closed by ramp (no traffic outside). This street is completely "green", because there are nice gradens everywhere around. Outlook from the window is also into a garden. However the best thing was not only the villa itself, but the owners !!! they are super perfect and they do anything for their guests. I felt like they were my family... Location is great, it's only 5 minutes walk from train station Genova-Nervi and trains to Cinque Terre towns run every 15 - 20 minutes from here. Genova city is also not far away. Advice - buy train tickes online, ticket machine in this staytion was broken all the time we were there...

Not lot to say The hosts are exceptionally great. Really kind people and helpful. Service largely over anyone expectations. The breakfast is : what you want, you get. Just ask. One nice thing unexpected : a garage place for the car. And free of service !!
