Good overall with a few caveats

good breakfast, nice rooms, good location

room we had happened to be in was on first floor and the wedding function room was below and so noisy. not ideal. bigger issue was the automatic staff gratuity that was added on the bill. we used the hotel for sleepign and breakfast, nothing more so this was irritating.

Would we stay again? Possibly. Things would need to be greatly improved.

Breakfast could have been more generous. Small amount of scrambled egg a tiny sausage, half a tiny tomato, half a rasher of bacon and 1 small hash brown. Continental also available. Coffee bitter as heck. Overall ok breakfast.

Bathroom bath mat covered in mould. 2 rooms across the hall had doors wedged open with coat hangers under the door. Obviously vacated. Bins full, bed unmade and used bathroom towels draped over the bath. Why they had not been cleaned the day the guests left and just left to be cleaned at a later date had me baffled. Why leave the doors open to these unclean and unusable rooms? Bizarre. Didn’t like being essentially forced to pay a 10% gratuity without being asked. Was just added to the bill. Not cool.

Great hotel been several times

Been here before, local to relatives and nice rooms. Good views, lovely breakfast

No room service breakfast did ask for one form to hang on door never received.. Empty tissue box in bathroom. Towels left on bed not put in bathroom. Only 2 sachets coffee. Minor things but room service breakfast not able to order annoying

Bright modern hotel with easy parking and check in. Clean Spacious room , with good views. Excellent food and very helpful staff. A relaxing and pleasant hotel, wished we could have stayed longer.

The location of the hotel was superb and the attitude of staff was great.

Breakfast was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The variety of food was good however maybe porridge pots as some of the 'working people' were on the go which would of been a bonus. The cooked breakfast was lovely.

The room was my biggest downfall. My room had a dripping toilet and it leaked out the bottom sometimes. It took a couple of times to also flush the toilet. The throw cushions had stains on. The walls had stains on. I did put my towels in the bottom of the bath to be washed but was missed one day. The walls are very thin so you could hear everything, including the lift going up and down and the music from the bar downstairs. I also requested to change rooms as there was a police incident occurring in the room next door and I did not feel safe about this, the room I was given had not been cleaned, so again I had to go back down to reception to get another room.

A very enjoyable stay in a great environment with friendly staff.

I enjoyed my stay and the gentleman on the desk and bar addressed me by name which i thought was brilliant.

There wasn't anything that i didn't like about my stay.

Beds comfortable, room could have been cleaner.

Breakfast good on first morning of stay. Had early checkout second morning, Continental breakfast should have been left out for us after confirming with reception. Needless to say there was nothing for us. A kind member of staff did supply some coffee and cereal before we left.

Shower head in bathroom needed a good clean. Coffee stain on bedside table.

we have stayed twice and both times were disappointed with the breakfast. both times my husband asked for eggs & bacon well done and neither times got what he’d asked for & actually ended up with my egg on his plate. it wasn’t busy so I would have thought a simple request could have been followed through. I know this isn’t anything major but when you ask for food a certain way and it’s ignored it’s quite disappointing

Comfortable room, good views, nice location, quiet

£10 'optional' gratuity charge automatically added to our bill. This was not mentioned on Booking.com or on the hotels website. This lacks transparency.

Clean and pleasant, in a lakeside location.

Tidy well-maintained hotel which fulfils all basic needs in a great location by the lake. town centre of Ramsey a short walk away - about 10 minutes.

The bar only accepts cards and tip is automatically added. I would prefer cash and the ability to add tip at my discretion without having to discuss with the bar staff. Also, slightly short staffed for breakfast serving but every hotel is like this at the moment.

NICE WEEKEND IN LOVELY SURROUNDINGS.

NICE COMFORTABLE ROOM WITH A SEA VIEW IN A LOVELY AREA. EASILY ACCESSIBLE TO THE TOWN. MY BED WAS EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE AND THE ROOM TEMPERATURE WAS GOOD.

I DID THINK THE FOOD COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER, IT WAS OK BUT NOT GREAT.

The location was excellent for our needs. We thought it was good value

The shower was poor, being over a bath and a shower curtain as opposed a screen, with poor pressure. The cord on the hairdryer was to short, you couldn't stand infront of the mirror to dry your hair. Breakfast was delayed due to lack of staff, we were on a tight schedule.

Very comfortable; I'd stay here again

This is a good, modern hotel in Ramsey that is within walking distance of the centre and located on the seafront and directly behind Mooragh Park

The buffet breakfast was OK but I do prefer having some other cooked options. The tea and coffee you order from the waiters at breakfast sometimes didn't come until you had virtually finished eating

It's a lively clean hotel and the staff were really frrendly. The location is great and quiet surroundings. Guys at breakfast very helpful The beds were lovely and comfortable and the view lovely.

Relaxing place to recharge.

Location lovely. Breakfast staff lovely. Beds comfortable. Room a good size.

Some hot ingredients at breakfast were a bit bland. At evening meal the staff in need of additional training...Gin and tonic should be served with the tonic bottle presented to you separately not poured in by the staff. No steak knife with steak had to ask. Starters not good value!

A comfortable hotel with a modern feel.

Staff were helpful. Room was comfortable and, unlike many hotels, was quiet!

A Wedding Reception was being held on one evening which seemed to cause a staff shortage in the dining room. Staff were clearly doing their best but service was a little slow and confused.
