Un meraviglioso soggiorno in una casa d'epoca vittoriana. Magico!

Soggiornare a Grosvenor Villa è davvero stata un esperienza meravigliosa e vuol dire entrare in una casa d'epoca della vecchia Inghilterra, con tutto il fascino che ne consegue. Il palazzo d'epoca, gli interni decorati benissimo, la camera con vista sul verde, il letto al baldacchino, la colazione con prodotti di ottima qualità, la passeggiata lungo il fiume per arrivare in centro, la cortesia e l'aplomb del proporietario, tutto ha reso il nostro soggiorno davvero magico e indimenticabile.

Great little B&B

Aside from signature architecture, the real gem of this property is Richard. What a great host, welcomed us, ensured we were happy throughout and kept us entertained with stories. Great location, very comfortable room and dressing gowns were a nice touch.

Breakfast lacked for the price (though the Portuguese tarts were excellent) and the private bathroom wasn’t en suite.

Beautifully clean with little extras like small bottles of wine. Breakfast was good, hosts were very friendly and informative. A very interesting place to stay with a little bit of history thrown in.

Richard was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. The breakfast was varied with plenty of food to.go around again Richard was very accommodating and made our stay fantastic. We would highly recommend this as a place to stay for a weekend in Bath!

It was quite a walk from the villa.to the town centre but as it was gorgeous weather the walk along the canal was enjoyable. Richard was great at providing all the information we needed to travel to and from the hotel and taxis we cheap even though it was a bank holiday.

All as described. A very beautiful historical building, clean, warm room and large comfortable bed. Very tasty breakfast, which is served in an elegant dining room. Nice spacious bathroom with free toiletries. Tea/water/biscuits in the room. Convenient to walk to center of Bath along the canal. A very friendly host.

Nothing! Would be nice to have a hook or smth to hang coats near room door. This is probably the only improvement I would suggest.

A very cozy place to stay for a wholesome weekend

It is a character property in the heart of bath, very easy to walk to and from the city. Very spacious rooms and comfy beds, staff are very attentive and very informative.

brilliant stay with a brilliant host. A place full of character and very comfortable. Richard was incredibly accommodating and was able to suggest local restaurants as well as welcoming our little dog.

A really lucky find, can’t wait for a return visit, couldn’t think of a better place to stay!

stunning period decor, really comfortable bed and excellent breakfast with a friendly, helpful host.

carrying a suitcase up all the stairs to our room however worth it for the views and all part of staying in a beautiful period house.

Superb stay

We had a fabulous two night stay. Richard was a perfect host. I had eye drops that needed to be kept refrigerated and he gave us the use of his kitchen fridge and couldn't have been more helpful. He truly has a beautiful home and makes everyone feel more like family than guests. Couldn't recommend more highly. 20 mins walk into town...perfect.

Can't really find any fault with our stay.

Great hotel

Hotel is full of character, it felt like you were living in a different period, extremely clean room and bathroom, lovely bed linen. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choices and Richard offered us extra tea/coffee, toast etc.

When we booked it said our bathroom was across the hallway, it is actually down some stairs right underneath our room. We managed but it wasn't ideal walking down stairs in the middle of the night to go to the toilet.

Beautiful stay in Bath

I loved the history about the house and the lovely welcome when you walked in, the room was very spacious and the bed was so comfy the best night's sleep I've had in a long time, there is a beautiful walk along the canal into town which the owner told us about which is a nice steady walk and very beautiful coming through the park. Would definitely stay again, it was so lovely

There wasn't anything anything I didn't like, apart from the fact we couldn't stay longer

Richard was wonderful, a fantastic host and hotel. Had a lovely stroll into Bath along the canal. Easy parking. Dog was made very welcome. Fabulous breakfast, if I come back to bath will definitely be staying here again.
