Einfach nur wow
Maria und ihre Familie haben den Blick fürs Detail! Das gesamte Interior ist aufeinander abgestimmt, es ist super sauber, die Betten bequem und vor allem: Es hat einen TOP Lage zu den Ruinen und ist ruhig gelegen. Zum Essen: Endlich mal wieder Gemüse auf dem Teller und zum Frühstück ist fast alles aus eigener Herstellung / Anbau. Das Sauerteigbrot ist ein Traum! Auch deren Wissen über Land und Leute ist fantastisch für jeden, der an mehr als nur den Ruinen interessiert ist. Das Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar. Und falls man nur auf der Durchreise ist: Stoppen Sie unbedingt hier für ein paar leckeres Kugeln Eis 😉

Wonderful Place - Highly Recommended
In our four months traveling in South America, Posada Maria is by far the best guesthouse we have stayed in. Immaculately clean. Spacious, comfortable rooms, and nice common area for relaxing. Great value for the price. Maria, her family, and the staff are very welcoming. Wonderful buffet breakfast each morning with delicious brown bread and jams. Ice cream, baked goods, and dinner available at the cozy guesthouse restaurant (bring your appetite, the dinner portions are big!). Very quiet place...we slept really well. WIFI works well. Location is fantastic (across the street from the Jesuit mission ruins). If you don't have your own transport, ask at the ticket office about a taxi to Jesús de Tavarangue (one of their staff members actually drove us to the site, waited an hour, and brought us back for a reasonable price).

Very clean, spacious room. Kind reception and great hospitality. Location incredibly convenient as right next to the ruins. Excellent food and pastries, the only risk is eating too much.

Wonderful owners and staff always ready to make your stay even more comfortable. They have a restaurant too, which serves delicious food and desserts. My room was big and clean with very comfortable bed. And hot water in shower (which is pretty great during winter time)! The hotel is just around 100 metres from the Jesuit ruins of Trinidad. Highly recommended!
