Pratique et correct pour une découverte de la ville

L'emplacement est idéal et calme. Pas de bruit le soir et il situé entre la centre et la plage. C'est un bon juste milieu pour découvrira au mieux toutes les parties des Barcelone. Tram et bus sont a proximité et bien desservis. Le personnel est gentil et s'occupe de garder vos bagages avant Léa checkin et après si besoin. La résidence ce situe également devant un très joli parc ombragé eat dans lequel j'ai pue faire mon jogging.

La chambre était un peu vétuste mais fonctionnelle. Il fesait chaud malgré le ventilateur en plein été

Calor inhumano y robo en la propiedad sin respuesta

*Calor excesivo, robo de pertenencias* Esperaba no poner esta reseña dado a que parecia haber entendimiento. Reservamos este hotel esperando que fuera tolerable el que no hubiese AC. Sin embargo, es INHUMANO el calor dentro de la habitación (no sé como puede vivir alguien aquí). Al no poder siquiera dormir (porque hacía más calor dentro que fuera de la habitación) decidimos conversar con recepción, quienes nos dieron la solución de “canjear” dos noches en la habitación que teníamos, por una en la habitación que tenía AC, la cual estuvo bien. Aunque la cama seguía siendo igual de dura. Cuando nos estábamos yendo, dejamos nuestras maletas 2 maletas , 2 mochilas y una bolsa (con shampoo redken , souvenirs de la sagrada familia y compras de supermercado . Todo esto avaluado aprox en 80-90 euros) en consignación, pero al regresar, faltaba la bolsa. El personal se comprometió a darnos una respuesta en 24 horas en forma de encontrar el equipaje perdido o reintegrarnos un monto similar al perdido, pero claramente, nunca pasó. Si reservas acá, ten mucho cuidado. Si bien el personal es muy educado, las condiciones térmicas, amenidades y seguridad en la residencia hacen imposible quedarse.

The staff at the reception were outstanding.

Barcelona is a VERY hot city in summer, so it never crossed my mind that the rooms wouldn't have AC! Rooms were stuffy and hot, which made it very diffucult to sleep. I was also expecting a bit more for breakfast considering how much we paid. Better have breakfast somewhere else.

Run down basic place at most.

Friendly staff and a great location to explore Barcelona. A/C worked, an ok"ish fitting kitchenette with working fridge and cooking place. We stayed in an "executive suite". Separated sleeping and sitting area.

Room was badly run down. Mold on the walls in all rooms. Broken lamps and lights at the beds. Dirty corners and tiles in the bathroom. Broken ceiling. Sofa was disintegrating and peeled off whenever using it. Mattresses old and worn off. Breakfast is exactly one piece of pastry or dead-dry baguette (cheese, ham or salami). And one small bottle of water, juice or a can of coke. All as "take-away". No dishes, cutlery or anything. Breakfast room without any A/C, so not a place to stay.

High priced and basic

Good location, good gym, friendly staff.

Seems old. High waiting time for the elevators. Room with dirty walls, old room and old bathroom. Lack of dish cleaning equipment. Breakfast seemed basic with not many options. High priced for what it is. Not value for money anymore for Barcelona after the price skyrocketing.

The location is good

We didn't get the studio that we requested 4 months ago, but a smelly double room, without air conditioning. The rooms don't look like the pictures on booking.com at all

Nice place close to ARC de TRIOMF and ZOO, clean, with breakfast

Everybody on reception was very nice and trying to help if we have some questions. Rooms was nice and clean, even open sofa was waiting for us, as it was 4 of us comming. There was AC in room, very helpful on hot days. Kitchen was nicely equiped. Breakfast was nice-we got milk, cereals, jogurts and juices in a box, croissants, biscuits, jam, butter even coffee maker with coffee was there. The place was not far from beach, very close to ZOO and buses just 6 stops from main points like CASA BATTLO or CASA MILA

Fine but needs work

Great location and good value for money if you are looking for simply a bed to sleep in. AC is really good in the hot weather and the water pressure in the shower was excellent.

On arrival there was a very strong disgusting, rancid smell that filled the studio. When we inspected further, it was coming from the drains. They must have some drainage issues as it was really pungent and filled up the whole studio. Any time we were at the property we had all windows and the door wide open with AC on and we had to go to Lidl to buy air fresheners etc. Overnight we couldnt have the door open and it was truly disgusting. When I went to ask the receptionist about the smell and drain issues he couldnt understand me and only offered an air freshener, instead of changing rooms/refund/investigating and fixing the issue. This was really the main reason I’m giving a 5/10 as it really impacted our stay and we were gagging every time we were in the studio. It was truly so disgusting… shame they didnt do anything at all about it. Other things to note are although there is a kitchenette fully equipped with plates, cutlery and pots, there is no washing up liquid, sponges, dish towels or even hand soap. This was quite strange and we had to buy our own (for only 3 nights so it was really a big waste of money). Last thing is this is a student accommodation and on the night we arrived we were tired from travelling but the students were throwing a loud party above us until 1am with loud music, singing etc. Kind of expected with a student accom so don’t book if you are looking for a very quiet stay.

Convenient stay for a young family of 4

really nice location for a short stay in Barcelona; we loved that we were able to walk to the centre. The breakfast at the nearby caffe was an added bonus :)

Not as expected.

I really like the the area around the Residencia and the Restaurant in front of the house, where they serve the breakfast. Attention: there you can only choose between meat or veggie. The reception in the Residencia is always manned, someone is always there. That makes you feel good.

I don‘t know where to start. You will be asked to pay as soon as you arrive, not when you leave. This task is not very personable. So i´ve paid, they gave me the breakfast cards for every day and that was it for the first day. The room was not as expected, it was spacious but very spartan. The first night was hard for me because the refrigerator was so noisy and the following nights where also tough, because of the heat and because someone was probably moving chairs over me ALL THE TIME. That was very loud, resting in the room was very uncomfortable. My water didn‘t get hot for the first three showers and the communication with the house was a bit difficult sometimes. The floor was very dirty, also after cleaning. In general i was very disappointed with the house after looking at these amazing photos on booking.com. Half of the house is under construction, sometimes workers where there, sometimes not... To be honest to all the other travellers out there: The accomondation doesn‘t look 100% like on these very well staged photos. However ONE employee always tried to take care of my concerns. He was calm and friendly and i was very grateful for that.

Disappointing

I wasn't given the room that I booked. Booking.com agreed to compensate me but gave me nothing and didn't help. I spent most of my time on the phone or emailing them trying to sort it out. They didn't ring me back when promised or sort things out properly. If you like paying the top price for bottom standard of accommodation - this place is for you! False Advertising!

I liked the location (central but not noisy). The room is relatively small but is has everything one needs: a separate bathroom, a kitchenette and kitchen utensils. The room has two tables, which is convenient if you need to work.

this hostel is gonna be the choice for my next trip again!

Staffs were totally the most positive item of this hostel! They help us a lot in all matters. Location is amazing in a way that we didn't need any metro or bus to visit the city . we enjoyed walking around it was totally safe. Breakfast was ok as well especially as it was served in an open space.

I prefered to have more facilities like iron, hairdryer and etc. and also there weren't air conditioner in the room. and fans were not enough during the day.
