Lovely, simple, traditional Spaniard stay.

We enjoyed the traditional, Spaniard design. The stay felt local adding to the charm of Colmenar Viejo. It was simple in the best way possible for us.

The breakfast included was not for us. If I remember correctly it was packed bread or sweets. Cannot remember exactly because we skipped it right away. There are other nicer places near the hotel. The breakfast did not bother us as we did not expect anything in this regard.

very nice stay

simple but good Spanish breakfast ; coffee with milk, toasts, tomatoes and olive oil. I don't need anymore but I understand it's not enough for many other people.

Bed has dreadful rubber or plastic under sheets - very uncomfortable if you seat even the smallest amount. there are better ways of protecting a mattress

Good basic accomodation.

The rooms were large and clean. Friendly staff.

The breakfast was quite basic. Fruit, coffee and toast and some packaged sweets.

Pleasant building and well located

It was basic. Just toast and choice of a few packets of croissants

Restaurant was late to open for dinner. Hotel is popular for weddings which also means there is a lot of noise until early hours of the morning

Very good

Breakfast was great and the staff were lovely and helpful. We also had ample free parking and a beautiful golden mimosa tree outside our window. The property is much bigger than. it appears with 60 rooms so you can escape other guests. The outside seating and bar service is super when the weather is nice.

Very noisy woman next door. The Wifi didn´t work for the first few hours.

Good for an overnight stay on a trip from the south to the north of Spain, or vice-versa.

Friendly staff on reception. Breakfast was OK if a little sparse. The underground carpark felt really secure. There is a restaurant on site with reasonable prices. The menu was simple and of typical "menu del dia" ingredients.

Finding the hotel was a bit fraught when we knew we were close! A simple map on the website of the local street directions would be useful. There isn't a lift from the underground carpark to the hotel entrance so travel light!
