Good value for money, great location!

The location is simply great and that gives this place the best bonus. The owner looks grumpy at first but instead he is very nice and ready to help. The rate for this area was very good and even if the facilities were very basic and the bathroom was shared, in general it was an excellt deal

Great location, staff was friendly. We had a fan and air conditioner so that was a plus.

Extremly loud

Cheap and clean enough

Biggest compain is about the noise: from the outside clubs, rooms next door, the fan and staff noisy in the morning. If you go should be aware that it gets more quite around 3AM and starts again around 8 or 9 AM.

Great Price, Great Owner!

For $25/night was the perfect spot for us! After paying $150 to stay at another hotel for one night, I would much rather stay here. Friendly owner, short walk to many great bars, restaurants and shops. Nice hidden rooftop restaurant next door. We will stay here again when we return in a few months!

Good location and clean rooms.

Unfortunately there is a bar/nightclub next door, so bring ear plugs if you want to sleep before 3 am.

It is close to many popular bars in cartagena, such as cafe havana and praza la trinidad

The hostal is actually a hotel that has a shared kitchen. The bedroom tv works and the rooms are hot as hell. There are a lot of mosquitoes and the clerk didn't know we had made a reservation and he didn't even have any control over who made or didn't make reservations. As with everything in Cartagena, it's terrible, maybe this isn't such a bad option. The shower is cold and looks like a hose that cleans cars. The bathroom is super small. The kitchen is ok but during the day they use it for restaurant I think. The man who stays to open the door is super stressed.

Really nice staff, well-situated hostel, good value-quality balance

The staff was really nice and helpful with all our necessities. The location is pretty good if you're traviling to inmerse in culture. You have a lot of food and fun options around the hostel. The price is really good for the city and the location.

We first rented a bedroom with just the ventilator because we usually don't use the AC in the night, but it was really really hot. The second day we talked with the staff and they were really kind changing our room for one with AC where we had a great time!

Satisfactory budget stay with central location

Hassle free check in late at night. Provided free water and coffee.

Kitchen was a little dirty. In the room sheets and bathroom were clean but the room as a whole only had a very basic superficial clean.

Great place in a buzzing part of town. Easy access, unlike many places the street door was not locked.

Small Cartagena jewel. Family based, family owned, and nice escape from busy Getsemani.

The owner was always there to help. Literally never left and was always there to assist with anything he could. They washed my clothes for me and made sure that the 50 cents in my pocket was returned. If I could rate higher than perfect I would. Thank you!

Shabby place, dirty room. Definitely not recommended.

Good location, friendly staff

The room was very small, dirty, cracks in the wall, unconfortable bed, air conditioning not working, shower was a hose out of the wall.

the hotel is close of many bars and centertown.

Very noisy because of the bar under the room, until 3:00. The shower was only a tube with no choise of the water heat. I heard the first night my neighbours having sex when the bar closed.

good breakfast, close to center but loud at night

very very loud at night (party next to hotel) some problems with toilet couple hours without fresh water (cant take shower before sleep and after wake up) by one night
