Die moderne Ausstellung, alles sehr sehr sauber, der Pool ist traumhaft, das Personal so freundlich, tolles Essen- immer wieder gerne!

L’hôtel est situé au calme, la chambre était spacieuse et calme. Le plus, l’accès à la piscine et sauna compris dans le tarif avec peu d’affluence. Merci pour la box gourmandise en cadeau pour notre chien.

Nous avons été déçu de ne pas avoir pu avoir notre chambre de base qu’on avait réservée via Booking. Nous voyageons toujours avec notre chien. Le premier caractère prioritaire est de chercher un hôtel avec chien admis, celui-ci était notifié comme tel, nous avons pris une chambre mais celle-ci n’était pas admise pour les chiens. Booking devrait mentionner que toutes les chambres ne sont pas admises pour les animaux. Cependant, l’hôtel a pris les devant pour nous proposer certes une chambre descendant dans notre gamme mais avec les autres critères demandés. Nous avons été satisfait.

Sehr gutes Essen und Frühstück, Zimmer selbst sehr ruhig trotz direkter Lage am hinteren Parkplatz. Freundliches Persona

Sehr große Zimmer, beim Standard-Deluxe Zimmer riesige ebenerdige Dusche und dazu eine Doppelwhrirlpoolwanne. Kaffee und Tee grazis im Zimmer. Schönes Hotelambiete, Schwimmbad im Haus. . Hund war erlaubt im Standard Deluxezimmer.

Doppelbett teilt sich leoder sehr schnell in zwei Betten, wenn man sich nur umdreht, Etwas ungepflegte Terrasse mit Laub und großen Spinnweben. Im Zimmer, wo Hunde erlaubt sind liegt Teppichboden. Das wäre evtl. veränderbar.

We stayed for two nights. It turns out all towels were removed after the first night but not replaced, probably by mistake. We went to the reception asking nicely for new towels without any result after an hour. We complained a second time asking more firmly for new towels without any result, again! After another hour, we went to the reception (by the way the room phone was not working) asking strongly for new towels. We never got new towels... Very disappointing, a bad experience...

This hotel is very big and quite beautiful, especially the surroundings - so much nature... frogs, bunnies, poneys, horses, cows, sheep - saw it all in just a 2 night stay ! Fairytale location ! The breakfast is amazing even if pricey (17 euros) but you will really enjoy it, very good quality food and large variety of milks and juices and fruit and snacks and cheese, everything ! The rooms are large !! I had quite a standard room and yet my bathroom had both shower and bathtub with jacuzzi. Very clean too and the reception / concierge staff were so kind, fast, and reactive, they helped with anything as much as they could ( lost item, taxi order, money exchange, local advice etc ). Loved it !

I had a 2 night stay and asked for slippers, a bathrobe ( its a 4 star spa hotel..) and body lotion. They didn`t want to provide this unless I payed for it.. also there was no water at all to be found next to the saunas, it would have been amazing to have a water fountain there or some jugs with cups... no private showers down by the pool/gym... so you have to go back up to the room.. and no massage/ treatments available, which is what I thought there would be in a spa hotel.

Everything was ok but for the price I would expect bit more. Nice big pool.

The hammam and the sauna were not hot enough.

Great and relaxing hotel.

Comfortable rooms. Nice staff and the pool, sauna area is beautiful and big.

Location is a bit far to Alkmaar, most of the people go by car. So if you don't have a car it is difficult to enjoy the local activities.

Pool awesome. Dinner great.

Bathrobe use is an extra cost, so bring your own. There's also an *additional* "safety deposit", and that apparently will not be returned to you on checkout if you leave the robes in the room and unless you ask for a printed invoice.

Great hotel overall, comfortable, nice people working there

Very large hotel, with lots of things to do. Great pool! We were at the restaurant, food was excellent, and the staff was also great! Can recommen!

The sauna area is not at standard. The designer and manager responsible for the facility for sure are not sauna enthusiasts, otherwise they would not create such a meagre piece of sauna. With a little effort and proper use of the space available this hotel could create a perfect sauna and steam room experience instead of just a "yes we have too" attitude. Additionally, I would like to mention, that the carpet floors should be replaced, your place is better than these worn out ... Over all, we stayed at other VALK hotels for breakfast, we loved it!
