We had a lovely 3 night stay and would definitely visit again.

The beach was amazing. The apartment was well equipped. The restaurant and bar was really nice.

It would have been easier for my sister in law if there was more parking at the hotel level as she has to walk with a walking stick down the slope from the upper car park.

Brilliant location! The apartments were really well equipped with everything you'd need, towels, beach towels, kitchen equipment, teas, coffees, iron, hoover etc. Staff were all really friendly and the restaurant is brilliant.

Perfect, can't wait to return!

Everything was perfect. The apartment, facilities and staff exceeded expectation. Even the weather was glorious for the duration of our stay. Basically an amazing gateway for a special birthday surprise! Can't wait to return in the very near future.

I genuinely couldn't find fault. Tolcarne Beach Apartments provided everything I was looking for.

Truly outstanding

Being the first weekend of January, we had the place to ourselves, which was an absolute winner. The proximity to the beach is outstanding: definitely an experience we'll not forget in a hurry.

Beautiful beach location

Fantastic location right on the beach. Everything you needed was included, and also, there was a bar/ restaurant on site that served from breakfast until evening meal.

just perfect. we used to go tolcarne beach every year as children , we took our parents for his 80th and it was superb

it was dream like .. listening to the waves on the balcony … the beds were so comfy kitchen had everything you would need .

in all honesty. nothing . it ticked all our boxes

Disappointed for the very high price we paid

Location, view

Apartment needs some work, large velux windows/fire escape coroded and broken, would not open in main bedroom. Parking was poor and not managed considering very high price charged for the week. Floors were dirty, kitchen needs areas fixing bits broken, slates off windows outside and exterior window to bedroom would not close properly so a security risk! Somewhat disappointing

Great, would stay again but you’ve got to be fit and able to stay there.

Great except opportunity for better access. The colonial and its staff and food is exceptional.

They need a designated and branded golf buggy for the access issues. I carried all my luggage back to the car leaving (7 hill climbs, which was no issue at all, but on arriving my mum went in the front seat of two seat van and my kids in the back-of a van. (they flew) One porter - charming man. But another porter dropped my mum (she can’t make the steps) off at the top of the hill as we was ‘taking the trash out’ - not good. Should be a designated clean small vehicle, with seats!

Very friendly staff and management,fab location with lovely views. Restaurant very good enjoyed our breakfasts and a lovely evening meal.

Only the difficult vehicular access but that's due to the lovely situation of the appartments.

2nd visit & we have already booked for our 3rd.

Appartment, location, staff, The Wedge Bistro, the cream tea in the Colonial Restaurant.

Being really fussy here but even though the appartments are self catering, maybe some toiletries such as hand soap & shower gel / shampoo could be provided?

beach location - restaurant and shops all nearby. access down a tight narrow road but we didn’t mind

a little dated now - needed shower and bathroom storage inside. no hand soap provided either. otherwise the basics are there
