Very comfortable with friendly helpful staff and owner. Excellent food couldn't fault at all.

The manor was lovely and clean. Lovely gardens and communal areas. Staff were friendly and helpful.

the whole property was beautiful. really lovely period features, original sash windows and the most beautiful stained glass roof on the 1st floor. the staff were excellent and soo very professional.

the bed was a little too soft for us but that’s personal preference and not something that we would mark it down for.

Very nice comfortable room and view. I am full of admiration that they do not use highly perfumed washing powder on the bedding. Beautiful hotel and gardens.

Breakfast was most definitely exceptional- did not dissapoint! The grounds and gardens were lovely and the staff very helpful.

plenty of parking, easy booking in and out, lovely decor. Tim greeted us at the reception, bar and at breakfast, great guy and couldn’t do enough for us and other guests to make our stay as pleasant as possible. would definitely recommend.

Good location

Room 7, which was an upgrade on our original booking, is in a poor / average condition. The bathroom is very tired in appearance with mould evident between the tiles, wallpaper peeling away near the toilet and it is impossible to use the shower without water running onto the bathroom floor as there is insufficient run off on the shower tray so be prepared to mop up the surface water. Most disappointing was the condition of the matter eases which were way past their best and actually higher at one end given the poor condition so we did not experience a good nights sleep.
