Beautiful and amazing stay!

our stay was simply exceptional, the property is fabulous, the views (from the gardens and from the room) were amazing. we had breakfast in the shared garden and it was delicious and fresh. the castle is a beautiful place furnished with taste. our stay has been exceptional thanks to Vicenzo and his mom. It was a pleasure to talk with this very cultured man! The staff was friendly and really helpful. The location was perfect, the villages around and the beaches were picturesque.

Everything was above our expectations.

beautiful location and nice room

it was a beautiful location and view. The road to it was fine and the drive down to Palinuro was easy and quick. Dinner at the nearby (walkable) Agriturisimo San Leonardo was our favorite meal in Italy. Our room at Ill Costello was lovely, with amazing view. The owner was friendly.

no tea kettle available, Breakfast was just some pre packaged sweets (and one homemade cake that was too sweet for my taste.) Cappacino was either made with instant coffee or a pod- again, not to my liking.

Unique stay with amazing views

The location is lovely, with stunning views over Palinuro and the ocean from the bedroom. The terrace was a really nice place to sit and relax. The breakfast was nice but all very sweet. Unfortunately they were not serving aperitif and antipasti when we visited in May. We had a nice stay and enjoyed spending time with the cats. The hosts are really nice people.

The inside of the castle and our room smelt very strongly of cigarettes which made my partner and I feel sick as non-smokers.

the owner was kind and helped book restaurants. Breakfast was fine.

The rooms were too small for the price. The view of the sea was only partial. The heater didn’t work well and the water was cold. Getting there is quite a challenge.

We want to come back to visit again! The view and the staff is worth every penny!

Very beautyful view! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Unfortnatelly the lady of the host did not speak english, but we used translator app :) The ower was so sweet to gave our kids a little sweet presents in the middle of our stay- they were sold :) Also the breakfast was served very nice and it was really rich. Thank You again and greeting from Estonia!😍

Charming Castello

Our stay at the Castello was excellent. The view on Palinuros coastline is amazing, especially during the sunset hours. The Castello is situated lonely on a hill surrounded by a beautiful landscape and cows. The hosts were super friendly and made one of the best breakfasts we had in a while. Moreover they gave us recommendations for tours and restaurants.

Amazing!

The view to the sea and the peacefull place where you really get to rest and recover yourself during vacations. Also the Host Vincenzo is very kind and always making your stay even better. I will defitnely come back again.

The best decision for a vacation in italy.

If you have the chance to stay there for some time, take it. It is the perfect place to stay. The building itself is an incredible experience to stay in. It also is in a wonderful location with great hosts, a wonderful terace for breakfast and the most beautyful towns and beaches to visit nearby. The rooms are nice, clean and spacious. The town itself is only a few minutes by feet and that although the castle is located in a completely quiet area. One of the best restaurants in the region, Flamengo is also just a ten minutes walk(!) away. It was a most wonderful time we had there.

Beautiful views and charming hosts

A stay at the Castello is worth every penny for the view alone - we loved having breakfast under the vines looking out over the peninsula. Vincenzo and all the staff are extremely kind and accommodating, going the extra mile to recommend and book restaurants, help order a pizza, take care of laundry etc. Breakfast is outstanding, everything kept spotlessly clean, and we loved the individual touches in the room and property as a whole.

The drive up and down to the castle is a little adventurous, but worth it to stay in such a location.

Exceptional

Loved everything, especially the view, it was absolutely exceptional. The owners were super nice and accommodating, (including the 3 very friendly cats). Very quiet and peaceful area, and a short drive / walk to the nearest small town which was also very cute. Parking was available on site. The grounds are very well maintained with beautiful flowers everywhere you look. Would definitely come back here again.

Amazing experience in a picturesque hotel.

The hotel was isolated up in the hills but still close to a lot of towns and tourist areas. The views were breathtaking, service was great and the breakfast served in the garden was one of the nicest experiences in a long time.

The hotel was near perfect. The bed mattress was quite thin but apart from that, it was an incredible experience.

Exceptional

Excellent location with an amazing panoramic view. The owner, Vincenzo, is super nice and can give you amazing tips about the region. I highly recommend this castle.

Only weakness: rooms are not soundproof

We didn't have any table or chairs in the room, so we had to eat our take away food seating on the floor...
