Our holiday was enjoyable but would have liked to see more places

The house had everything, including full length mirrors and sockets in perfect places near mirrors . Was spotlessly clean, had every utensil necessary, was in great location , walk a bit steep (would be an issue, especially coming back up if you have mobility issues like myself) but taxis great £4.00 a trip, home in minutes, drivers very friendly.

The parking was a bit of a let down, was good to have it but once the car was in we couldn’t get out to use it to go places, missed out on Becks fish and ships and trip to st Michael’s mount as car was jammed in once neighbour had put there’s in. On leaving had to climb through the boot to get in the car to move it as couldn’t access our doors. For this reason we probably wouldn’t book this lovely house again which is a shame as everything else was great.

Wonderful, we enjoy our time in Cornwall.

Good location, just a few minutes walk to the beach or the picturesque town center of St. Ives, the best thing: the view from the bedroom over St. Ives to the chapel and the sea :-) The children's chair and the additional barriers in front of the steep stairs were very good for travelers with small children.

It's good that there is a parking lot. Unfortunately, this is very, very narrow, so you have to drive back and forth several times to get into the parking space properly.

Amazing time and will definitely be back

Spacious, comfortable, had everything you needed and more.

Nothing, just be aware steep hills if walking into town which is about 5 minutes walk away

We had a great time, and the house is just a 10 minute walk from the harbour, albeit up a hill.

The sea views, the standard of the interior and appliances.

The parking space is tiny.

Great view from the top bedroom with parking

The view from the top bedroom is wonderful. Well equipped, tastefully designed, comfortable and near enough to walk down to the surf beach with boards.

Advice: bring dishcloths and soap. There are steps in the kitchen to get things out of the upper cupboards that we spotted too late. (A teapot fell on my head)

Very good

The inside was nice and comfortable, presented very clean and tidy . Some thing we're right but lovely house to stay in , front patio , nice to sit there. Would go back if few things done x

The parking very tight even if car is small. Dishwasher never worked. No instructions for washer/dryer as took around 5 hours to doing small amount of washing. Unfortunately a large stain on mattteress ,bed on top floor which was coveted in mattress cover and sheet, wasn't very nice to sleep on. I always check b4 I sleep in a bed . Approx 10/15 minute walk to St ives down hill, not good for mature people to walk back steep hill up.

No dislikes. Arrival and departure is contactless with host. At least one phone call would be expected.

A lovely short stay. So much to see and do and the property in easy reach of the town

very well equipped, nice touches such as milk and local biscuits provided. Useful map and info on walks great.

The heating was a bit erratic. One day it didn’t come on at all and on other days it came on at random times. Not a major problem as the weather was very mild but could have been. I did try to contact Sykes but couldn’t get through

Lovely week away ,some issues .

Very near to centre of St Ives

Should have said that it's on top of a very steep hill. I couldn't access this easily by foot. Had to use the car most of the time due to back and leg issues climbing up the hills. The property was lovely,parking difficult Very tight at back of property. Also stairs very steep and up to top bedroom very steep,curving staircase This needs to be highlighted for people who have mobility issues . I could barely get up ,wouldn't have liked another week because of this tbh.

Breakers Point was the perfect choice for a few days in St. Ives.

The property was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was modern and well equipped. A very thoughtful gesture was the welcome pack of tea, coffee and biscuits, and a bottle of milk in the fridge. I booked it for the view from the top bedroom and I was not disappointed.

Extremely well equipped, clean and comfortable. Lots of storage areas. Plenty of power sockets in convenient places to recharge devices. 10 minutes walk from beaches.

Outstanding property

Breakers point was like a home from home it was spotlessly clean and had everything in it that you could possibly need for a holiday. A well presented property with full WiFi throughout a fully equipped kitchen with dining table, the living room had comfortable seating area a good sized television with Freeview, also available are board games DVD’s and books. Bedrooms were both large in size the beds were very comfortable both rooms had a sea views the twin room had side sea view and the double with full sea views from both windows, bedrooms are light and airy with ample drawer/wardrobe space. The bathroom was large with a lovely bath and separate shower. Location to the harbour is a pleasant 10 minute walk away you can walk along the path from porthmeor beach then through the quaint streets passing all the pretty holiday cottages as you head towards the town. Just to note if you are walking to and from the house the walk back whichever way you walk and there’s 3 options from the town centre you will have to walk up very Steep hills so if you do have any walking difficulties you may struggle, there is a regular bus service that goes past the house if it’s too difficult. Overall the property is outstanding and in an excellent location I had a very comfortable stay and I wouldn’t hesitate in booking this property again if I were to stay in st. Ives.

Great views !

Well equipped, great views from top floor bedroom. Spacious and quiet.

Could have done with a rug or two in lounge - had cold atmosphere. Parking very tight .

Good house in a great location for the centre of St Ives.

The location was perfect, just a short walk from town, so away from the noise. The house was exceptionally clean and the kitchen had all the utensils, pots, pans, glasses, cups etc. The view from the top bedroom was fantastic. The house was very comfortable and warmed up very quickly once the heating was on.

Thicker blinds, particularly in the top bedroom as they are so thin, they do not keep the light out. The parking space was unavailable on the first two nights as the other person in the space next to us had parked diagonally. We were extremely lucky that at this time of year (December) there were no parking restrictions, but spaces were very limited, with few cars moving at all during our stay.
