Perfect location, nice breakfast, good spot for mid afternoon drinks and the hotel was lovely.

Delicious italian breakfast, chocolate croissant was the best. Rooms were big, staff was lovely. Rosita gave us really good advice on how to visit Capri. The location is excellent!

Exceptional

The staff made this hotel extra special. The receptionist staff couldn't do enough for us. Rosita and Concetta went the extra mile, they arrange the transport , meals out and our dry cleaning. All the bar staff kept our drinks topped up and made sure we had fun. The food in the hotel is great too, good selection for breakfast. Overall I would book this hotel again for location, great staff and atmosphere

Relaxing, stunning location with delightful staff

Location fab and with a pool; completely relaxing - an oasis in Positano. Staff delightful and very helpful. We arrived about midnight to a tray snack in our room which we really appreciated. It’s a beautiful very authentic relaxing space.

This is being very picky but they could vary the bar snacks as they were predictable - delicious but changing them would be nice. Also there was a wedding on the Saturday so we felt a bit uncomfortable using the main area and they were very noisy.

Amazing private palace at the heart of Positano

We loved our stay at the private and beautiful Palazzo Murat! On my husband birthday they suprised us with Prosecco and sang a birthday song during dinner! Breakfast was delicious and with very good variety! And the hidden oasis at the beautiful garden was just perfect. Dinner was world class - very clean taste and amazing service! Hotel is also in the middle of the shopping area, just couple of steps and you are kn in the middle of the busy Positano! Could not be happier with the choise we made.

The shower floor was sleepery When I went in I slipped fell on my hips and injured my left shoulder There was no hand rail or any other kind of Support to hold on It ruined my vacation I would like to talk to the senior person in the management I have been in pain and suffering

Superb

Location was convenient to the ferry port in the heart of Positano, so it was easy to get around. We loved their terrace for a drink in the evening and they had an excellent restaurant (make reservations in advance for dinner!). The pictures don't do the hotel justice, so know that you're getting something better than advertised, which is rare!

An oasis in the heart of Positano

The building was historic, clean, well maintained. The antique, four-poster bed was very comfortable. There was an exquisite chandelier above it made from crystals of all different shapes. I loved the bougainvillea gracing the balconies, where you could look out and see the dome of the church against the backdrop of the ocean. The lush garden by the restaurant makes it an oasis in the heart of Positano. In fact, it was a great location that didn’t require as many steps as other places to get to the main shopping, restaurants, and the beach. Their complimentary breakfast is a sumptuous buffet spread. And the lovely Rosita helped our trip go smoothly by making dinner reservations and planning excursions. It was like a dream come true!

Staying at Hotel Palazzo Murat is a dream of old-world beauty and people's exquisite kindness.

Staying at this hotel is magical not merely because of its location - already perfect! - but because of its unique character which is a sum of its history, its natural and cultivated beauty and its thoughtful people who never think any request too difficult. The food was magnificent (including a surprise gluten-free birthday cake of lightness and sweetness for my birthday breakfast), the coffee superb, each recommendation for eating or other was perfect and suited to being a family with children. Special mention of Attilio, full of grace and good humour, and the ever-abundant, empath extraordinaire Rosita. Listening to the Four Notes jazz quartet, in the courtyard bar (one of the loveliest of its kind with its fresco detail and framing bougainvillea) was an unsurpassable pleasure. Charming, thoughtful, stately, with good humour. I eagerly wait to return even though I know it might be some time till I do so. Many thanks.
