Large spacious rooms with incredible views of Lake Lucerne, the City and mountains.

The view from the balcony was incredible. Very central. Easy walk from train station. And the Lindt chocolates at the end of every evening was a nice touch.

The staff could have been more inviting. Many of the front desk staff never looked up to say hello or good morning or good evening.

Wonderful, relaxing yet compromised

Location, room, housekeeping, food.

The air conditioning system is behind the curtain and if you close the curtain you block the air. If you keep it open the morning light floods the room. Easy cheap fix is to have a vertical blind behind the AC and all is resolved. This is a really dumb piece of design. The fact that a hotel of this stature does not have a gym is inexcusable. You need to pay chf 32 per person per day to use a gym across the street. Until you get one going and given what you charge for the rooms you should make the outside gym complementary. I mean how many guests use a gym anyway? 10-30%? Average 15%? So cost per guest per month on average is nothing, but it’s a basic offer. Stop appearing to act as a money grabbing stingy property. The restaurant, bar and front office service should improve with a proper Conceirge service with connect in all the top restaurants. This too is an easy fix. The Mandarin next door once in full flow will mount a serious challenge to you if you don’t fix these small issues.

a bit dusty but maybe the nature of staying in a very old building given no wheelchair access at bit slow with helping with things like luggage

Highly recommend

One of the top hotels my family have stayed in Gorgeous interior decor - kept the original style of the hotel- amazing furnishings. Fabulous beds and pillows Exceptional friendly staff- couldn’t do enough for you. Lovely on-site restaurants and beautiful bar.

The best stay in Europe.

The best hotel we’ve stayed in. Beautiful location, views and room. The staff have all been incredibly welcoming, kind and genuine. We have had the best time and are very sad to be leaving. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Good experience but not worth the price at all.

View of the hotel is amazing

- We booked ritz suite which should be the best room in the hotel but the balcony was very bad, old, and dirty. You could see lots of spider web there. - Service is not as good compared to the price. Staff at breakfast is not welcoming and quite rude. - There were not enough staff in the hotel during night time. In face there was only one staff who did everything including reception, room service, and house keeping. So it’s impossible to have someone pick up the phone when you call for room service.

wonderful break and the massage was super!

super close to the train station, nice pool and AMAZING massage

great location, excellent staff & beautiful!

absolutely beautiful! exceptional staff. pool is stunning though only 4 ft deep- has optional water jets to circulate water. great location to walk around the city with amazing views

Overall pleasant stay in a historic hotel.

Central location with stunning views over Lake Lucerne and Pilatus. Reachable within few a few walking minutes from Lucerne Station.

Well kept old building with high ceiling. We a room with a balcony. Swimming pool isn’t what you’d expect from a modern five star hotel but then again, we’re in a historic building.

georgious old style hotel

Luxury…old style hotel - you can feel like a king. great bar and restaurant, and a small pool, too.

Some rooms that looked small and those not facing the lake may be lower on the value for the money scale.

Wonderful, great staff.

Hotel is very clean, staff are helpful and very welcoming. Its not our first time in this hotel and we will visit it again. Yen Wong is very helpful and amazing person. I really loved the Christmas vibes and the bonfire outside.

very nice and classic room with beatiful location

the room was already prepaid and i gave them the room deposit in cash, and then from nowhere they charge my card with ~1400CHf when i asked why they said it was by mistake and they return it the next day in cash, it was unpleasent experiance they almost ruiened my vacation budget. انتبهوا من حقين الاستقبال لانهم خصموا مبلغ عالي من البطاقة و لما سالتهم ليش قالوا بالغلط, ورجعوا المبلغ لي ثاني يوم بس كاش.
