Disappointing hotel in great location

Breakfast was excellent

Room in need of updating - look like 70s Shower base was lethally slippery and the shower head kept flopping down. Safe was 10cm above floor and I had to kneel down to use it.

Tutto molto bello e soprattutto molto funzionale alle mie esigenze.

Posizione ottima per recarsi all'opera lirica presso il teatro Carlo Felice, ottima anche per il Palazzo ducale.

ottimo hotel in pieno centro

ottima posizione in pieno centro storico permette di uscire tranquillamente a piedi la sera. Colazione abbondante. Parcheggio pubblico molto vicino all'hotel. Personale cortese. Segnalata la presenza di un rumore di fondo (probabilmente un allarme di qualche apparecchiatura che suonava) immediatamente risolto.

bis auf Kleinigkeiten haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Preis-Leistung völlig okay!

die Lage war super, mitten in der Stadt, alles fußläufig zu erreichen, Auto wurde vom Personal geparkt, was sehr hilfreich war!

deutschsprachiges Personal war nicht vorhanden, obwohl in der Hotelbeschreibung angegeben wollten am Abend noch ein Getränk auf der Terrasse zu uns nehmen, das uns verwehrt wurde, da wir kein Essen bestellen wollten, das war sehr schade und nicht gastfreundlich!

The location is fantastic, the rooms are okay, but at this price point (150$ per night), they should provide better service (at least a complementary bottle of water?). The best thing about the hotel is its restaurant, but that too is a third party one. Please eat at the restaurant. One of the best sea food places in town.

I think the rooms are really dark, and should have more light in general. Also, no complementary bottle of water and you have to walk 7-8 mins to get to a supermarket.

Within walking distances to most attractions. Lots of bars, restaurants in the area and of course very near to train stations . Convenient, I must say the bed slept like a dream...

Shower door handle was broken from the inside of the shower - did not expect this for a 4 star hotel.

Great location in the old town of Genoa on a quiet side street.

Great location on a quiet side street in the old town of Genoa. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and had a sufficient selection. The rooms were clean and equipped with everything you need. The pre-ordered car parking space in the garage was very small, but a helpful employee parked the car safely there himself.

Our 4-member travel group had dinner in the Old Port area of Genoa. We wanted to continue the evening in the hotel restaurant with cocktails, beers and other drinks. Surprisingly, we were refused service with the explanation that the tables are only for dinner customers. The explanation that we are customers of the same hotel did not help either. Since the hotel restaurant didn't want our money, we took it to another and friendlier place. When we got back to the hotel after a while, the empty tables were still waiting for dinner customers. And those tables remained empty until the restaurant closed....

Fine for a short stay ( we were only there for 3 nights) and good for business travellers.

Location was good - accessible via the Metro or short taxi ride from Brignole Station. Good choice of cold items at breakfast, limited hot items. No comfy seating area.

The room was too warm. We could not reduce the temperature below 20c. There was also a small step up into the bathroom which was not ideal.

Exceptional

The restaurant of the hotel is excellent, very nice service, food was great. Breakfast was very good, as well. The room and bathroom were clean and quite quiet. Very close to Piazza De Ferrari, easily accessible.

Great place

We liked everything. Comfy bed, practical but still stylish furnishing. Metro is three minutes walk away so easy to reach the train stations too. Easy walk round in the centre or more even if there was a strike. We only used public transport. Plenty of good restaurants around as you would expect in such city. Just like the charming city we are happy to go back.

good location, person in the reception was very kind and helpful. The city was very busy, lady in the reception helped us to book restaurant during our stay. Otherwise, we have not been able to find any available restaurant...

Lift was very small, just fit for one person with luggage..... Inside hotel and the room was too warm, we even wanted to turn on the air conditioning but it doesn't work.
