Glaciale , nous y reviendrons pas .

La balade dans la jungle .

Dès que j ai validé la réservation sur booking évidemment sans possibilité d annuler , je reçois un watsapp du lodge que si je paie par carte de crédits il factureront 32.- dollars de plus . Après sur place il y a bien une piscine Mais elle est tellement sale qu on a pas osé si baigner . Le lodge était glacial vraiment pas propre ( la literies était nickel niveau propreté ) et pour la douche on a même pas essayé de se doucher. La nuit il fait vraiment froid et il n y a pas de quoi se réchauffer . Je crois que nous étions seule dans toute la propriété, ambiance mortelle . Par contre les 2 matins un homme sorti de nul part nous appétait le petit déjeuner à l heure exacte demandée au ranch , un déjeuner tiède à froid quelconque. Vraiment un très mauvais rapport qualité prix .

I really needed some rest and Cerro Verde Lodge provided just that. I had an incredible massage at their spa by a gentle

Good

This is a gated, out-of-the-way camp with cabins. The amenities are great. The pool is sizeable and warm. playground, Foosball, pingpong, firepit, small football/soccer field, jacuzzis, hiking trail, food menu on site. Beds were comfy. Great place to stay with a family, plenty for the kids to do and lots of space. Staff were generally friendly and responsive.

Dogs and coyotes at night. This place is on a steep hill bordering the jungle so you hear everything in the nearby valley at night, including subwoofers. I would recommend a white noise maker. They did have a fan in the cabin--which was rustic. Most amenities besides the pool cost extra and I was put off by the staff rounding up by a few dollars on our room charge. Not sure I'd stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay for a few days to explore the Volcano. Gorgeous grounds and swimming pool. They served our meals in our lovely cabin. Couldn't fault it.

Michael the only attendant we saw there is very kind, friendly and informative !

very rustic individual log cabins located in a mountain forest!

lots if small sets of stairs and narrow unpaved trails to get to the cabins. Almost no hot water to shower. the heater is electric with wires running on the pipe above you. No restaurant, meals have to be ordered through Uber and delivered to your cabins!

There's room for improvement.

Fresh air, privacy, facilities. Excellent customer service from all staff.

Bathroom was dirty, there were a few bugs, I was served overcooked vegetables.

Excellent experience.

It is up in the mountain mist and the cabin was beautiful.

You can literally be locked inside your cabin grill the outside with no chance of egress.

I my opinion if you come to Costa Rica for a week , don’t spend time in Cartago. there are much more to see besides that

it was not comfortable. location is so so , maybe because it is absolutely nothing to do in the city of Cartago. hotel locate in the forest . there is absolutely no people there .

I did not like this property .

Its fine!

The cabin looked really nice and had a cute decoration. The breakfast came directly to our room and was delicious.

It was a bit cold in the room, especially because we came from the coast and werent used to the cold weather.

It would have been quiet and peaceful except for the neighbor cabin blasting music

Outrageously over priced and after paying in advance, no cancellations. If you get there and it’s not a good fit you lose $70.

Overall comfortable, but would not stay again due to feeling locked in.

The location was very good and the view was incredible.

I did not like that there was no hot water in the shower, even though the listing stated hot water. We also did not like that the gates were locked at 8:00pm meaning we were locked in at that time. This was not mentioned in the listing. We also had to wait for the host to open the gate each time we wanted to leave or come back.

Beautiful Neat Cabaña

The cabaña is super clean and new.. still smells like wood. Very close from San Jose, a few minutes away from Cartago city, the place is cozy, well built, staff super friendly. With a small extra fee you get a delicious costarican breakfast in your room.
