A clean, quiet accommodation very close to the city centre. Excellent value for money!

The location was excellent, a very short walking distance from Covent Garden and elsewhere in the city centre. Easy to get around with both the buses and the tube. A quiet room and a lovely neighbourhood, almost no noise from the street. An excellent shower and towel drying rack. The shared kitchen was useful for cooking breakfast, etc. Also it was nice to have a fridge (though tiny!) in the room. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and come again when I am coming to London!

There was only one duvet in our 2-person room. I was travelling with my sister and we expected both to have our own duvet. There was a rather cold draught from the windows. I recommend buying thick curtains to contain it. There was no clothes rack or hooks on the wall next to the door, which was a bit inconvenient. There was no table or chairs in the shared kitchen even though there was plenty of space for them. It would have been nice to sit by a table to eat. Also, there were only 2 forks in the kitchen (and lots of spoons and knives).

location

No lift (appreciate old building) air conditioning- didn’t work shower - couldn’t adjust height if shower head without propping up with shampoo bottle cleanliness - dusty opposite building - lights left on ALL night every night flooded room even with blinds closed size - very small bed - very small In response to your reply - I did contact you - I contacted you by email which you finally replied to, I contacted you by phone (you did not answer), I contacted you by Whatsapp (again you did not respond - I can screen shot this if you want) and I also sent you a text message (which was not delivered). You said you would get someone round to fix the air con - and no-one bothered to turn up. So I did tell you I had a problem!

Very good

Great place to stay!!! Right in the middle of the city. Walkable distances to all the attractions. You get the AC, you get a good working toilet and a common kitchen which is fantastic.

We had a bug in the room which was taken care of. AC broke down but was fixed the same day. Nothing really something we didn't like. Overall it was fantastic.

The location was great. We also really liked the key system.

We couldn’t open the windows in the bedroom so there was little to no ventilation.

The location is amazing and the room was very nice, a little small but alright but London standards.

The kitchen was sometimes unclean and people were noisy in there early in the morning or the evening.

The location is great, quite clean and neat place to stay. The keyless system is very convenient.

When we first arrived we found this guy (a bug) on a bed sheet, but it turned out it's not a bed bug or anything and there were no other ones in the bed, so didn't need to contact anyone about this. Quite a lot of condensation on the windows, there is an air con, but the remote had no batteries in it, which I suppose this was done deliberately, as there was also another additional heater in the room to use. Water pressure isn't particularly good as well as soundproofing. Other than that, it was all fine and worth the money.

Excellent value for central london.We look forward to staying at Eldon Chambers again in the summer!

The size of the room, linens, bathroom, and heating we excellent. The property manager was excellent and very responsive to emails. The staff was friendly and very helpful as well and provided linens and towels.

Superb

Well equipped, comfortable living for a short break in London. Great location a step from The Strand by St Clement Dane’s Church, but tucked away in a side alley even though it’s over a pub and a couple of doors from another. It was very clean and the facilities are good including a small shared kitchen.

There is a bit of condensation, so best to have the window open a crack, and has been a water leak at some stage, though a stain on the ceiling was not an issue for us. This place is fantastic value for money and I would be happy to recommend it to anyone.

Nothing

The host did not care for any request. She actually ignored me all along. Same for the housekeeper whom reads the messages and does not reply. A simple task of changing the towels because there was not ventilation in the room feels so difficult for them. Air conditioning did not work at all and the tv remote had the batteries dying. Despite us telling everything they have decided to ignire us

Great location comfortable bed

Booking.com suggests this property has kitchen facilities which was a driving factor. It doesn't. Room was comfy but could have been cleaner. They wouldn't give me any extra coffee pods which I thought was poor. Had to beg for a linen change. Location is great and really nice pub downstairs. Shower pressure is poor
