Beautiful and very comfortable

Amazing view, excellent breakfast. Meditation facilities and grounds were a huge unexpected bonus, lots of nice details to ensure comfort. They helped me set up a car service from Queretaro and to Tequisquiapan for a very reasonable price.

The location in relation to town was walkable but not super easy. It's in exchange for the view I suppose!

El lugar para estar en Peña de Bernal.

Alejado del ajetreo del centro y del ruido.

Me cobraron $500. Por salir 2 horas tarde. Escaleras muy largas para llegar al cuarto y al restaurante.

An enchanting relaxing place to stay

A lovely enchanting, relaxing place to stay with great views and close to town. The hotel has lots of attention to decoration with lovely spaces enjoy, the staff are very helpful, the breakfasts are wonderful. I would definitely stay here again .

we loved this hotel, the staff, Marycruz, Lupita, Josue, the cooking ladies(I forgot their names), Misses Tony the owner everyone was excellent. the location was the best just as the picture, the food at the hotel breakfast and dinner. we enjoyed and we are coming back. Thank you everybody at El Cantar del Viento

The 3 days we stay in Pe-a, 2 were cold and the rooms don't have heater. We could managed it with warm blankets.

Great choice for Bernal with impressive views

A thoughtfully decorated hotel with impressive view of the Peña, close to the centre but sufficiently far from all the noise. Rooms are a good size, some with a private terrace (we got an upgrade) and breakfast is abundant. For international travellers, owner doesn’t speak English, not sure about the rest of the staff. Staff is very helpful overall.

The beds were rock hard but I got a mattress topper when requested which made it slightly better. There are tons of stairs in the hotel which wasn’t a problem for us, but something you should be aware of especially as the quickest way to the rooms through reception is often closed and you need to take the long way around.

The breakfast was a complete and delicious with an amazing view. Our villa was spacious with a view to the city and the monolith

A lovely individual hotel to spend the last night of our holiday in relaxing surroundings

loved the view & the grounds to relax

The bedding was blankets only including a fitted bottom blanket. Sheets wood have made the bed far more comfortable. A kettle or coffee maker would be bonus

Excellent staff and comfortable

The breakfast was very good, but the great surprise was that they made dinner for us. The dinner was excellent and reasonably priced.

Exceptional

We loved everything about this hotel. It's a wonderland of terraces & gardens filled with art & potted plants in amazing containers. A true place to relax & enjoy the fantastic view of the mountain. The food is excellent & Tony is a delight. We'll come back to Bernal just to stay here & visit with Tony.

Great view, friendly & helpful staff: We'd come again in a heartbeat!

The owner is the sweetest, most helpful person (and so is her staff). I really can't say enough good things about this boutique hotel. The breakfast was delicious, we enjoyed the tour they recommended for us, and the beds were comfortable. Can't beat the view! I ordered the romantic package, so the bed came with rose petals and towel swans. So fun!

Everything about the hotel was perfect. We loved the location just outside of town, up on a hill with incredible views of Peña de Bernal and the surrounding mountains. Tony was amazingly hospitable, and we loved her morning meditation sessions and her passion for doing everything possible to make her guests happy. We especially enjoyed the private walk around the base of Peña de Bernal with her husband Ervin and their friendly dog, Negrita. Everything was comfortable and magical, and every staff member had a smile for us. Special thanks to Miguel, who rode his motorcycle to the property from who knows where and climbed up the wall and onto my balcony to open my room door from inside when I locked my keys in like the utter moron that I am.

There was absolutely nothing not to like about this magical place, but if you have mobility issues, this hotel might not be for you — there are a lot of stairs everywhere.
