Fabulous! The house was perfect for us. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom-heaven!!! The kitchen was well supplied (maybe a few more plates) , 2 great tables to work at, eat and play games at. Wonderful area to walk around. Not super easy to get to town, but not far. We had food and drinks and never had to leave! Highly recommend!!

The Texas Gambler was everything that was advertised. All the bedrooms were very spacious & bathrooms were great. The living area and kitchen had everything you need. The back patio is where we spent most of our time. It’s stunning and the wildlife was abundant! You want be disappointed by staying here.

We loved the house! It is beautiful and well stocked with everything that we needed.

Nice long weekend stay. Property is great and house was really nice. A couple of issues internet didn’t work so lucky we had our own hotspot because one of us had to work remotely so that was a bit disappointing. Kitchen was great but not many pans and cooking items so would recommend you plan ahead. Also the dishwasher left a film on the dishes that was hard to remove so wound up washing all by hand.

The property was perfect for our family (3 couples and a single). Everyone had their own space to relax and the view from the back porch was wonderful. Added benefit was the evening visits by the deer and elk!

The house and location were perfect for what we were wanting for our weekend stay. The surroundings are very quiet and the drive into town only takes a few minutes. The set-up of the house is nice in that there is a large family and dining area and also private bedrooms and bathrooms. We would stay again on our next trip to Ruidoso.

We enjoyed our stay. The open floor plan was great for our son that uses a wheelchair. There was enough room for everyone to spread out and having 4 bedrooms and 4 baths was a great benefit for everyone.

Very nice place with great amenities. Cane was out and there were issues with a few lights but there had been thunderstorms so I’m sure they will fix the issues immediately.

Beautiful home with spectacular views!
I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The home was beautiful, very big, and had great views. We were able to see deer and wild turkeys roaming in the morning and at night. My family loved our stay and can’t wait to book this home again for our next vacation!

Great place
Everything was great except that they didn't supply any shampoo or soap for the showers. Had deer come in right behind the fence, which was awesome.

Dad’s 70th
Hanging at this home was a perfect way to hang out and celebrate my father n laws 70th birthday. We had about 15 guests during the day and it was very comfortable. It has an awesome view and we saw a lot of deer and some elk. We had a couple small dogs and the fenced in yard was perfect for letting them out without concerns of them getting out. We want to stay there again!

Spacious & Comfortable
Had a pleasant stay. The property was close to the city and attractions yet was private and remote for a nice getaway. Enjoyed the spacious back deck for grilling and wildlife viewing.

Beautiful Location
We really enjoyed the secluded location of the property. Home is large, has a great layout. Each bedroom has it's own large bathroom. The kitchen is great for cooking. Deck off the back of the house is perfect for viewing nature, while sipping your morning coffee. A big added plus for us, is that it is pet friendly..Loved being able to bring our dogs. We saw no residue of other animals having stayed, so kuddos to housekeeping.
There are few suggestions that would make the stay nicer for future guest. The extra touches most owners provide. You will find there is no dishwasher pods, although you are required to run it before leaving.. no condiments of any sort..that goes for coffee..no washing machine pods..kitchen supplies are all old and could use updating....no bathroom essentials other then tiny hotel soap. The bedding on all beds are the same, thin basic blue comforters..definitely could more inviting for guest. The home has family pictures throughout as well.
We've been staying in vacation rentals for over 20 years. This home has so much to offer that we loved! The small details could be addressed to make this a 5 star review.

Things to keep in mind
We had a great time, the house was nice and clean. I do want to point out the fact that there was only 1 trash bag and that wasn't enough for our stay, no dishwasher soap, and the most important there wasn't a dumpster near by that was very frustrating.

Great location, very clean, beautiful home and lovely visits from deer every evening when we watched the sunset.

We all had a wonderful time. Close to shopping and restaurants. The rooms are good size and comfortable. We will keep this property in mind next time we want to getaway from the heat. A few minor recommendations. The owner should consider replacing the lounge chair and a good professional carpet cleaning. The outdoor could use a good cleaning plus a good dusting indoors. Maintenance please check the back patio screen door. It gets stuck. All these are minor observations on what it is a beautiful home. Thank you so much for a lovely stay. Soledad and Allan Brozek
