Great facilities & view make it a good stay option but the vibe & atmosphere could have been better
The view from the dorms is amazing and so are the facilities in place for travellers and workation people alike. The food at the in-house cafe (Olive) was good too. The beds, room, and washrooms were all clean and nice. The team was very cooperative and helpful too.
People seemed disconnected and didn't interact with one another as much as you'd expect in a hostel (maybe because most of them had come for a workation rather than a proper vacation). The property is at quite a distance from the main road so for any necessities, groceries, or emergencies, it's a long walk. Most taxis drop you off at the entrance but in case they don't, it's a long way to walk with luggage (and rugged too).

It's a hotel for families not a hostel
The caretaker at the hostel is not letting us create the travel vibe and the open atmosphere to interact. He also seems very sly and annoying like a warden of a very bad school hostel. The hostel charges Rs 50 for a towel. Usually towels are on a refundable deposit. Then when we took a towel the staff took away our towel on the next day and they asked us to pay for the towel again. Extremely rude behaviour. The restaurant did not offer us any food when we arrived and forced us to eat one dish only. Then at night when different solo travellers formed a group to talk and enjoy the caretaker started shouting and asked us to keep quiet. No one was being disturbed as everyone was outside. Still he LIED and said that some people were being disturbed. When someone asked him who were they, they said that it was one of the five girls in my group. I am 100% sure no one complained from my group because we were all outside. But still he said it was us to the others. He was effectively badmouthing us and trying to create a Gurukul Atmosphere of Parampara Pratishta and Anushashan. It was my worst Zostel experience. On the top of this when we were just standing outside and talking, he came and grabbed one of the guest by his collar and told him that he knew that they were trying to record his behaviour on a video and share it with the team. But the guy had not done anything and he felt so scared after this incident. There's no food allowed in the hostel and no drinks. It is the worst Zostel vibe I've ever seen

Very beautiful property but everything is overpriced - Not a bagpacker hostel
The shape of property and the way they have maintained it
Bone fire, snooker table are paid. Cafe is heavily overpriced though quality and quantity are decent. Even the 4bed dorms people have to share the wash room with 10 guys people though they have quite a few of them, but then Whats the difference? Room rent is over the price of a 3/4 star hotels and dorms equivalent to price of a cheap room (considering property it’s still okaish). Overall still a good stay
