Condo was clean upon arrival. You do have to initially stop at Vacasa office in IOP to obtain Wild Dunes Parking passes (other stays within Wild Dunes do not require this - instead you obtain from the Wild Dunes gate). Wifi password provided by Vacasa was incorrect - look inside binder at the property for correct one if Vacasa has not updated their wifi information. Bed was full size versus queen and not super comfortable. For the kitchen - do not expect to make big meals due to lack of utensils, etc. coffee pot is provided but no keurig, so bring coffee grounds! Be careful with the dryer, it ate up multiple pairs of our shorts! However, for the price of this rental compared to other Wild Dunes rentals, the quality is expected.

Loved the price, views and location to beach aka just steps away. Not fancy but neither was the price.
10.0 / 10.0
Overall the stay was great. The vents could use a cleaning and the kitchen needs a few more items, other than that it was very nice.
8.0 / 10.0
The place was very clean. We loved the views!! The a/c was a little funky so we slept with the bedroom door open.( bedroom didn’t have great air flow). Neighbors were nice. We would stay there again!

I loved the crow‘s nest and the screened porch. I love the layout and it provides everything you will need on your trip. I would prefer a bigger bed. The bed was kind of small.

Great views, clean, well-equipped and close to amenities.

Very nice, I would stay here again.

We go to Isle of Palms every year and this was the best condo we have stayed at yet. The terrace level makes it so much better to just go and hang out upstairs with views of the beach. Will be back at this one!
6.0 / 10.0
We spent just a couple days. It was nice and quiet for the most part. There was construction going on next door. It was clean and we enjoyed the look out deck! The bed was not good. Did not sleep well. Need a new bed.
6.0 / 10.0
I had to wipe down the furnitue on the deck before I could sit there.
The deck chair pads were flat and either stained or dirty.
The window that you see when you first walk in has a big frosted spot.and should be repaired or replaced.
The curtains by the front door were too short and allowed light in at night and compromised privacy.
The shower is in need of repair. The grout needs cleaning, the mechinism that keeps water in doesnt function and as a result guests have to use a rubber pad in its place. Some of the tiles around the faucet needs to be replaced.
There was a rusted beach chair on the deck.
The wine glasses were also frosted and as a result dont look clean.
The remote in the bedroom is damaged and needs to be replaced.
I sent pictures earlier of all of these concerns.

Been staying at WD since 1996. Never owned, always rented or stayed with fiends. Tidewater is one of the older condos but well kept, lots of parking, two nice pools and only 3 stories right on beach. This units pros: cable with high speed internet(faster than work),clean and well kept up except bathroom. Con’s: bathroom not dirty but needed face lift 10 yrs ago. Tile coming apart in shower. Toiletries were inadequate compared to other WD rentals. Add lists bicycles coming with unit. That was a typo that is still in add. They are available to rent. Biggest gripe is the master only has a full size bed. Not even a queen.

I had a great stay. The price point was very reasonable for the location and the room was a little outdated but very clean and comfortable. I'd absolutely stay in that room again!

Nice room. Had everything you need. Shower does need remodeled. Elevator was off when we left at 5:30 am. Not sure why. Otherwise plenty of space. Good view from top deck. Great beach access and very chill too.

Read the reviews beforehand. Was slightly concerned. Plenty of good, but also more than just a few bad.
Was exactly what we needed for our short long-weekend stay at the beach. We didn’t cook many meals in the kitchen, nor did we host any guests. It was just what we needed for a place to crash before we headed out for the day / night.
The shower head displayed some mold and the overall bathroom was aged more than the rest of the house (but accurately displayed in pics).
Bed could be upgraded. Reminded me of an old spring camp mattress.
Beyond that - this was a great value and great place to stay for our long weekend.
Gave it 4* because I believe 5 is outstanding in all facets. But I would absolutely stay here again for a return visit.

We did a sweet 16 trip for my niece with myself & grandma. This property did not disappoint. The property felt very secure. The condo was very clean and tidy. Plenty of furniture for relaxing and listening to the ocean. Wonderfully located right next to the beach, it's just a short walk away.
8.0 / 10.0
In general we had a great time at this property. I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for a couple of issues. As some of the previous reviews have stated, some of the furnishings are outdated and the bed is really uncomfortable. The main issue was that the AC unit had been turned off from the actual unit downstairs, and the first 24 hours were spent with the temperature ar 80+ degrees in the condo. The property manager, with maintenance, and an AC repair company were able to fix the issue on the 2nd day and I was given compensation for the inconvenience. They really went above and beyond to try and make us comfortable after they realized there was an issue with the AC, and were very communicative, which was appreciated.
The property was beautiful, and we would stay there again. The unit was very clean and check in and out were a breeze.

Overall adequate however needs some love. Kitchen supplies need updating especially cookware. Bed most uncomfortable. Had 3 foam pads for mattress. Looked dirty when bed stripped. Shower/tub adapter broken and reported to no avail. Living area, screened porch and widow's peak nice.
4.0 / 10.0
Location was good. Like Wild Dunes. The unit itself it outdated with old furniture. The worst part was that we had to spend $200 for foam mattress toppers because the bed was old and worn out, same with the couch. Sent photos to Vacasa to forward to the owner and left the mattress toppers on the bed and still no response after almost a week. Could not sleep well at all. Left the property 2 days early after enduring 11 days of unbearable sleep conditions because of the mattress. The dishes look like they are from the Goodwill. The cushion pads on the outdoor furniture are flat and worn out. The only new item in the unit since the original applicances looks like the refrigerator. We have been to Charleston 6 times in the past few years via property rentals by owner, etc. and this was the most unpleasant unit so far. Never submitted a review before for a rental unit but do not want to see someone else book this unit and be as disappointed as we were. Will see if the property owner reaches out to us regarding the sleeping conditions and the related additional out of pocket expenses for mattress toppers.
4.0 / 10.0
Very dated. Door wall in LR barely opens. There is plastic on the windows inside and out that was not removed when the windows were installed. No screens on the windows. Multiple parental control locks on several normal TV stations. Only one roll of TP was provided. The kitchen is not appointed very well. The fire extinguisher expired in 1991. Although the location was very nice, best to stay in a different unit.
4.0 / 10.0
The location of this condo is excellent as it is a very short walk to a lovely beach. The porch on the roof is also a great amenity as it is wonderful to be able to sit there and look out at the ocean. Unfortunately the condo itself needs some serious updates. The paint is peeling off of the walls and the kitchen utensils are lacking and need to be updated. Vacasa was very quick to send their cleaning service back out to wipe the mold off of the ceiling in the bathroom but that was disappointing to encounter. The shower doors also need to be replaced as they are stained along the bottom. there was also rust on most of the inserts for the Can lights. Many of the vents for the air conditioning were very dusty also. The grout in the shower is also permanently stained with mold.
1.0 / 10.0
Very disappointed in the cleanliness of the condo. Steps to the beach, and the grounds were beautiful, but pots and pans put away filthy, coffee grounds in coffee maker, filter on fan caked with grease. I don’t want to mention the mattress pad condition! Very disappointed. Reported it but got no satisfaction.

View was great comfortable beachy feeling place.
2.0 / 10.0
Walls and ceiling peeling, top floor outdoor area flooring feels soft. Pool looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks. Air vents on the walls were covered in rust. We checked out after 2 nights even though we booked a week.

The place was great. Could use a thorough professional cleaning but a great place for us to stay at for our vacation. With it being situated on the island, I think Port O Call should figure out a way to allow golf cart rentals. We did not drive and could have really used one but were ttold the HOA for this particular unit forbade them. We loved the spiral staircase and the roof top balcony but both could use a little TLC. Overall, a great property and a wonderful stay for us.
3.0 / 10.0
The location was very nice, oceanside, and the view was great. Despite what I read in previous reviews the bed was comfortable. There is a new refrigerator different from the pictures.
2.0 / 10.0
Unit in terrible need of an update. Shower door was falling apart. Stove only had 2 small working burners. Screen on the balcony was coming off. Light switches didn’t always work.
Nice area.
6.0 / 10.0
The stay was overall nice! Great location and beautiful views from the porch.
The unit itself needs to be updated. Several outlets in the bathroom and bedrooms did not work. Dishwasher did not clean dishes. May have been the hot water heater because it took forever to get just warm water through the faucets. Some stains on bedding and mattresses.
I understand heavy usage and wear with rentals but common updates and maintenance would make this unit a 10.
6.0 / 10.0
Condo dated. Issues with opening doors to patio. Issues with shower. TV in bedroom did not function properly (when turned on stated to add channels. Previous tenants information left in condo, which made me question cleanliness.
8.0 / 10.0
Great location! Quiet area, easy access to pool and beach and a nice view. Condo could use some updates but overall would book again. Sliding doors to patio hard to open and shower door also. Mattress could be updated also.

The apartment was fine, cute, dated but nice.
The bed was awful. Definitely needs to be replaced.

Great location. Property is getting old and could use a spiff up, but this was the cleanest our condos have ever been. Also instructions were excellent

Nice Location and complex, Unit could use some updates
Overall I really liked this unit. The top balcony is cool to look out over to the ocean and you are located right next to pool and the beach access. The place is spacious and having two doors to the screened in deck is nice. The thing that could use some updating, both the deck sliding doors are hard to open/close and can be very loud to do so. The bathroom (there is only 1) needs some TLC. The shower is the biggy here. It is definitely dated and needs updating. The caulking is showing some dark spots all around and there was no tub stopper/drain so that was wide open. Also this seems silly but I am a tech person and there are not a ton of outlets available in the bedroom and such for charging phones ect.. So you might want to bring a Extension cord/charger.
10.0 / 10.0
Great location and quiet
Our condo was well kept and very quiet. The furnishings were outdated but overall clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was the sliding glass doors in both the living room and bed room were very hard to open/close. My husband, who is a handyman by trade, said that all that is needed to make the doors easier to use is new rollers on the bottom. An easy fix. We would, however, return again..

Peace and tranquility On Isle of Palms at Port of Call
Stunning property. The condo is older but it was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the rooftop patio! Our only note for the property manager is it is time to upgrade the bathtub and shower. It is showing it's age and doesn't look good compared to the rest of the condo unit.
6.0 / 10.0
Great location but older unit
This condo is in Wild Dunes which is a great location on Isle of Palms. Right on the beach which is also fantastic. The unit itself was older (I did read that in other reviews) which is fine but it wasn't clean. My toddler was barefoot and had black feet from walking on the floor within an hour of arriving.
8.0 / 10.0
Stayed for 2 nights.
Location to big, beautiful beach and pool. Close to restaurants, Quiet and relaxing.

Clean but dated
Very clean, as advertised, kitchen was fairly well stocked - updates would enhance the stay.

Excellent Place for a Good Price
The location was perfect. If you've never been to a South Carolina beach, Isle of Palms is a great place to start, and Wild Dunes is even better. Enjoy a primo location essentially on the beach with a great view of a wide strand and close to Charleston and other amenities.
