About this house rental
You'll love this six bedroom oceanfront home located in prestigious Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort. Boasting several large windows facing the oceanfront, this home provides oceanfront views from nearly every room!
As you enter, you are first welcomed by a large foyer with travertine floors and a large wet bar which nearly doubles as a second kitchen. Just off this area is a small seating area where you can relax with drinks or tapas. Beyond this area is a second living area with a mounted HDTV that would be great for a kids entertaining area.
Down the hallway, you will find three of the five guest bedrooms. The first guest bedroom features two twin beds and an en-suite bathroom with tiled tub and shower combination. The next guest bedroom has a king bed, french door access to the back porch, its own en-suite bathroom with tiled tub and shower combination and an HDTV. At the end of the hall is the second primary suite. This large bedroom features a King bed, HDTV, french door access to the back patio and barbecuing area and, of course, a large en-suite bathroom. This bathroom consists of a large walk-in tiled shower, separate sunken tub and his and hers vanities. Going up just a few steps are two more guest bedrooms, one with two twin beds another with a King. Both of these bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms as well. Upstairs you'll find the main kitchen, living and dining areas along with the expansive primary suite.
The formal dining area seats six and allows for beautiful ocean views while enjoying a family meal. A two-sided fireplace separates the dining area from the living room with its massive windows giving you panoramic ocean views from every seat! The gourmet kitchen features beautiful cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and a breakfast nook with seating for an additional six guests. Down the hall you'll find the expansive primary suite with its king bed, HDTV, enormous walk-in closet space and private balcony with a large dining and seating areas overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The en-suite primary bathroom completes this main floor with a large tiled walk-in shower, separate sunken tub and his and hers vanities.
Outside you'll have your very own private pool and spa complex. With its custom tiled pool deck you are treated to several suntanning, lounging and dining options - more than enough for the entire family! The ocean path beside the house takes you out the beach in ten seconds or less! The spa and pool can be heated (June 1 - October 1) for an additional fee.
No pets are allowed at this property.

Great place for the 12 in our family. More than enough room for everyone to have their own space. We had 12 golfer and had clubs everywhere and travel bags everywhere. I would recommend to the owner to permit at least one garage use aged so golf clubs could be stored. Better for the guest and the owner.

Home was beautiful and spacious. My family of 13 had plenty of space. Everything was in great condition. Wonderful location on beach right nex to walkway. My family especially enjoyed biking and walking on the beach. Spent many afternoons in pool. Kitchen was spacious and well equipped.

We loved the house. It is beautiful, plenty of space, and great location. Two disappointments: 1. Spa not heated when we arrived although prepaid; took me several calls and a day to get it done;2. The garage and hence the elevator were not available, despite the very high rental price. I know this is the owners prerogative, but having owned a comparable house at Sea Island, GA, I think renters should have access to all major house features. Palmetto Dunes is a great location; central, excellent facilities, beautiful, excellent grocery stores nearby. No complaints. We enjoyed being near the Dunes House restaurant/bar, pickle ball courts, general store.

We are a group of 40 - 45 y/o friends from college who get together annually to relax and catch up. Our primary interest is in finding a house big enough for the 11 of us and having space to hang out, talk, play games, and (in March) watch basketball. This house was perfect for it:
- Nice hot tub, right on the beach (ocean was chilly but you could take a dip and then sit in the hot tub)
- Comfortable bedrooms each with private bathrooms
- Big kitchen/dining/family room space allowed us to spread out and do different activities (games, watch TV, talk) while still being in proximity to the whole group
Only two notes:
- We asked for the pool to be heated, but we got a very confusing explanation to the effect that the heating system somehow pulled from the outside air with the result that it only worked in the summer (we were there in March). We ended up just swimming in the ocean and using the hot tub (which worked fine), but the explanation for why the pool could not be heated made no sense.
- We had several people drive to Hilton Head, and we bought the requisite number of parking passes which we received at check-in. However, we had several late arrivals (after the "Welcome Center" was closed), and we were told that there was no way to leave the passes with the guards at the gate. Consequently, this meant that someone had to run/walk/drive to the gate to deliver the car pass (to someone arriving after midnight).
These are just a couple minor points on a great stay!

We thought the house was beautiful but scarce supplies! The ceiling fans were extremely dusty and caused problems with allergies! My husband has Cpap breathing machine and ended up getting sick as we stayed in Master Bedroom. Because of the price of the rental, we expected a cleaner house and better amenities!

Very nice house in great location, but spa didn't work and very minimal supplies (coffee, detergent, paper towels, etc) for such an expensive house. Had to buy several bags of ice because ice maker didn't work properly. Lastly, the last line on spa instruction sheet read "If too confusing suggest you go to beach.", which all eight of us found extremely obnoxious. Overall, though we paid $15k for a four night stay, the touches/extras that the homeowner provided were more like that of a motel. Bottom line is we had a great stay and would highly recommend Palmetto Dunes but we wouldn't go back to 11 Armada.

We rented a large beautiful oceanfront house. My family has been coming to Hilton head for decades. While the house itself was great, management was condescending and rude before we got to the island. One of the senior management Leaders ultimately apologized. While this helped, it suggests they do not value fully customer loyalty over their own issues.

The house is in a spectacular location and has all the amenities anyone would want. Everything is in great condition and well maintained. Just a couple of things were of concern. When we arrived one of the bathrooms had not been cleaned properly and we needed to call to get cleaned which was addressed quickly. The refrigerator had pieces of lettuce left in the drawer. We also had to call about garbage pickup and they finally got there on Friday.I also that it was very cheap that not parking passes were included in the rental. We had 3 cars and I thought at least 2 passes would be included but we had to pay for all 3.Hopefully this does not take away from the quality of the house because I would definitely rent again. It is spectacular!!!

This house has it all both inside and outside. Very well appointed and and stocked with everything you could possibly need. I can't imagine a home with a better view of the ocean. We will definitely be back to stay here again.
