Crafted by local artisans from island stone and slate, Cara Mia has a charm and warmth all its own, with a covered gallery for al fresco dining. Relax in the island breezes or enjoy your meal in air conditioned comfort with the home's indoor or outdoor dining areas.
Three equal, air-conditioned bedrooms are placed for optimum privacy and all are oriented to take advantage of Pt. Rendezvous' constant trade winds and inspiring ocean vistas, The master suite is complete with a king size bed, and an elegant bath with an opulent shower area. The guest bedrooms offer king beds and both are beautifully appointed and offer tasteful, oversize bathrooms ensuite. AC in Kitchen/Great room too.

Cara Mia is a lovely house with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable, attractive living and bedrooms. The pool is great. Beth and Victor were easy to get in touch with a very helpful.

The 4 of us ( 2 couples) stayed at Cara Mia from 1/20/24 to 1/27/24 and were thrilled with everything about this “classy” home. We’ve been visiting the USVI for several years and this home is undoubtedly a top favorite! The home is furnished beautifully, the design is spectacular, the east facing pool area is exceptional and the location is just far enough from Cruz Bay yet close to all the north shore beaches…..the best of all worlds.
We cant say enough about the construction quality as well as the floor plan. Well done….views, convenience, privacy as well as perfect meeting spaces for meals and an occasional peek at the TV for an NFL playoff game or the Australian Open.
The Food basket surprise from the owners was much appreciated as we arrived late and were starving. Other nice touches/conveniences included the new beach towels, beach chairs (6), coolers (2), ice packs, gas grill, poolside lounge chairs with cushions and modern snorkel equipment (2). Everything was top quality….exactly what we expected and were not disappointed!
Greatly appreciated the support of both Eric and Beth from James Miller property management whose communications were spot-on and were professional in every regard.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Cara Mia! The house was well appointed with great amenities and a beautiful view. It was a great location, close to town and beaches. Communication was great, we would stay there again for sure!

We loved our time here! It was such a beautiful villa with gorgeous views. The villa truly had everything you could possibly need for your stay and was incredibly clean. I highly recommend staying here for anyone who is considering it!

Stayed at Cara Mia for the first time. The property was beautiful. Obviously the owner cares about the property and invests in it. New furniture. Everything was spotless. Met by property manager who explained everything to us. Very hospitable. The island had a temporary power outage. Owner called to apologize (obviously not his fault). They were very generous in trying to make it up to us. You can tell when you stay somewhere and the owner is milking it for the rental income versus an owner who really cares. This one really cares. Great time. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed this home-away-from-home. Everything was clean and nice. Gorgeous views out of every window. It was great a having a pool there to relax in when we weren’t out at beaches. We appreciated the beach towels/ chairs/ coolers/ snorkel gear there, ready to use. We loved recommendations for grocery delivery and things to do. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this home to others.

We had the most wonderful week at Cara Mia. James and his family reached out a few days prior to our trip and guided us through our arrival on the island and check-in. Everything was timely and thorough and they included several thoughtful details to make our stay extra special. And the villa! It was clean and comfortable and beautiful! The location was just minutes from Cruz Bay yet quiet and private. We loved the pool and the patios, and everyone had their private en-suites for evening. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful villa, the pool, deck, rooms, kitchen, and overall property were amazing! Hosts were excellent! Welcome basket of local foods and items were provided upon arrival. We found this to be a super convenient location to the main city/shopping area Cruz Bay, yet with easy access to the National Park and other beaches around the island! Will stay here again one day hopefully!

Cara Mia was so much more than we expected. It was a beautiful property in a quiet setting in the hills. The house was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for cooking meals to a day at the beach. Miller Properties was a pleasure to work with. They were very responses and helpful. We would absolutely rent again!

Our second year in a row and already booked for next Feb.. Perfect location for us just minutes to Cruz Bay and the grocery, yet Fish Bay is so very peaceful. Love getting up early for coffee and watching the sunrise.

Great set up for us and our adult children - privacy and a central gathering place. We spent most of the time outdoors and with the doors open to enjoy the breeze. Incredible views and quiet neighborhood. Close enough to everything but the roads can be treacherous.
Kitchen is well appointed and the honor bar is a great idea - drink some of the alcohol others left behind and leave your extra behind.
Beach towels, chairs and coolers were perfect for taking with on day trips to beaches.
It would have been nice to know that we did not have access to the room safe before we arrived instead of two days later. Parts of the villa showed its age and could use updating or little repairs but overall it satisfied our needs.

What a wonderful house and location. Our family celebrated our Christmas time together at St John as a destination away from the cold winter. Cara Mia was wonderful. I will be. back and recommend Cara Mia to everyone!

Cara Mia is the perfect vacation house. With it's 2 suites away from the main house and the open kitchen / dining area it is easy to have privacy and time together as needed. It was easy to just hang out and not feel like we need to go anywhere. A beautiful well maintained piece of paradise.

We had such a great stay at the Cara Mia. The views were stunning. It was very private. The host met us at the car rental service and we followed him to the property which was helpful as directions can be confusing. The house was very clean. There were beach bags, towels and chairs which were great to use! This house would be great for multiple couples staying together as each bedroom has a separate entrance, bathroom and outdoor space (balcony/patio).
We absolutely loved it. Would definitely stay again!

Cara Mia villa was conveniently located away from the busy tourist area but close enough for shopping and dinners out. The veranda view was great and relaxing and the pool waterfall was soothing. The villa kitchen was week stocked for cooking in. Driving around the island to explore the beaches was easy and we enjoyed a day snorkeling. Sunset at the windmill bar finished an awesome week! We look forward to next time!

Pictures do not do this place justice. The house has a perfect layout with the fabulous outdoor area in between the bedrooms and the main living area. The view of Fish Bay and the Atlantic Ocean is phenomenal. At one point in our stay there was a full rainbow over the bay directly in front of the house. We had 24/7 access to assistance from the property manager through phone calls and texts. This was a big plus! Don’t worry about the house being too far from Coral Bay. Is only about a five minute drive. We made the drive se verse times each day and enjoyed it each time!

We had an amazing stay for 3 couples celebrating 40th birthdays. Great property, location and views. The plunge pool wasn’t huge, but just enough to cool off at the end of the day. Very clean, easy to get to and safe. We can’t wait to come back.

Great house and host
The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive with our messaging before the trip and once we arrived. It is a gorgeous location. We have stayed at a lot of VRBO houses and this was by far the easiest to check out of. Definitely would stay here again.

Cara Mia is nothing short of spectacular. The views every morning are stunning and the villa and location are gorgeous. It’s perfectly equipped with everything we needed for a great vacation. It’s also very clean and comfortable. The property managers are extremely responsive and very welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

Classic St. John stone elegance at Cara Mia
Cara Mia has classic british colonial decor , st john stone work exterior & pool and deck area high ceilings with casual elegance throughout with a view! Cool travertine floors inside & on decks , oversized showers, large beds, overhead fans to supplement the whole villa air conditioning make this the most all around - quality, beautiful villa we have stayed in over the 20+ years we have been coming to the island.

This house was absolutely beautiful. It was well stocked with common items which we had not found in previous rentals. We cook every night after the beach so we really enjoyed the well appointed kitchen. The house was comfortable and we loved the pool with waterfall in the center of the villa. Home was nicely appointed, the grounds were beautiful and the views were awesome. Loved the separate location of the bedrooms. Beach chairs and coolers came in handy. The terrace and pool seating area allow for just chillin out.
We dined both in the outside terrace and main dining area, it was a nice change of pace.
