Wonderful Stay

It was clean, comfortable and the location is wonderful. It was also easy to access and we had everything we needed. The views are amazing from every window. Hũ

Over all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Location was excellent! Beds were very comfortable

As we don't use apps it would have helped to have a folder with information to help us. It was very noisy when the wind blew as there were loose boards in the roof. It turned cold and we could have done with being able to put the heating on. Seats were uncomfortable.

Great time had by all .

The property inside was lovely and spacious and spotlessly clean.

The entrance and hall leading up to apartment. The garden need to look more appealing and the carpet up the stairs is very dated .

Well worth a try. The area was super to visit

The view was amazing and everything was there that we needed.

The climb up the stairs took some getting used to. It was worth it for the view though.

Amazing weekend

Loved the view, the beach is amazing and very clean. The apartment had everything we needed except a plug for the bath! Loved the area, quiet with just enough to do.

When we arrived we didn't like the look of the outside of the building also on entering it didn't smell too fresh! Once in the apartment it was totally different.

A wonderful short break away.

The view, the location. also very comfortable. Excellent facilities and everything you could want.

While the apartment was excellent once you left the accommodation the property itself was very run down. When you pay a lot to stay somewhere you do not expect to have to empty your rubbish into outside bins at the end of your stay. The long trip to the bins highlighted just how run down the property was.

Ok for a two day break.

The view was great.

Very underwhelming on arrival. Kerb appeal is nil. Coming into the building very shabby. The apartment was spacious but very tired looking. No Curtains in the lounge I appreciate the view is great from their but the opportunity to have some privacy at night would have been welcome. The balcony is unusable and looks rotten.

Expected 4 star luxury from the price only got 3 star

Superb sea views from every window Great location Spotlessly clean Some nice soft furnishings, interior design Coffee, tea, sugar, dishwasher tabs, washing liquid, hand wash and shower gel all supplied

Exterior of building old and dilapidated Communal hallways/stairways shabby, smelt of smoke, dirty and uninviting Hardly a penthouse, more attic rooms Quality of refurbishment not good, very poor finish Balcony not in use, photos misleading Bathrooms and plumbing poor, old mismatched, damaged fixtures and fittings When bath was filling no other hot tap could be used Dirty old yellow fan cover in shower room Did not seem to be any alternative fire exit other than main staircase to flat Very ineffective heating system, came on when sensor picked up movement in lounge - freezing on waking Not what we were expecting from the photos and description, very disappointed

The flat was amazing and the bath and living area was very good. The location and views from the flat were amazing and very close to everything

The only thing we would like to have was some cleaning spray and also possibly some small cooking extras like oil

Caring owners, clever attention to detail. Poor shower.

The house was clean, had good attention to detail with lots of little extra things to make the stay more comfortable and feel special. The owners were quick to answer queries and genuinely cared about our stay. Comfortable beds, clever heating, beautiful views and a lovely quiet area to relax in. Top tip: Remember to take a lighter to light the gas oven.

The shower in the master bedroom was awful. Very slow water and a choice of either scalding hot or freezing. The other shower was fine. The rest of the penthouse is very classy, such a shame that the shower is so old and rubbish. Doesn't fit a penthouse image at all. Also the toilet in the master bedroom wouldn't flush. We basically all used one bathroom apart from 1 use of the bath in the master ensuite. The stay would have been made even more perfect is the balcony was usable. It would have been lovely to sit out on and watch the sea.

We really enjoyed ourselves especially the close access to the beach/view and amenities.

The location was brilliant and the facilities within the apartment were great, especially the comfy bed.

Access to the balcony would have got it 10 out of 10 instead of 9 out of 10.

Apartment was very clean & lots of extra comforts eg blankets , coffee machine , baskets etc . Loved the lounge & the view : sun was out and beach was literally spread out in front of us .

The oven wasn’t straightforward to switch on !

We had an excellent stay and would definitely come here again.

The apartment was very clean and beautifully furnished. It was comfortable and warm (December) The hosts had thoughtfully provided everything we needed. When looking at photos online it's hard to be sure that a property will meet expectations - this one was just as beautiful as the online photos. It was excellent and the sea view was truly stunning.

Balcony - make it safe or remove it. No secondary fire escape - only the main stairs? Quite a haul to get our bags to the apartment - we are not in the first flush of youth!

A lovely way to spend a weekend, fireworks , sun and fabulous view .

Everything was there that you would need for a comfortable stay. The penthouse was very clean and the view was superb.

A little gem of a flat

The view, the view, the view! We had a fantastic view of the beach from the living room, and all the other rooms had lovely views of the rooftops. It was wonderful seeing the birds flying level with us, and we were extremely lucky with the weather during our stay, when the light changed throughout the day. The flat itself is beautifully decorated, spacious and clean. We used the second bedroom, with the twin beds put together to form a comfortable large king, as it has the en-suite. It was our first time in Gorleston and we felt lucky that the flat was right on the seafront, and within a 5 minute walk from shops and restaurants. We even had free parking on the street. Being the top flat, the stairs are a bit rickety (and plentiful) and the hot water was a little hit and miss when showering (particularly when someone ran a tap in the kitchen) but this in no way detracted from our experience, considering the building is over 100 years old.

Nothing, we had a wonderful stay.

Great location, plenty of space, full kitchen and laundry with dryer. Nice and clean and comfortable. Internet was good in main living room.

Good location but apartment was much below our expectation and with unhelpful management.

State of the building; unlocked front doors, including at night; general lack of cleanliness; unsafe rubbish area No safety or escape procedure in the apartment; No on-site parking as advertised; showers difficult to regulate; very small 2nd bedroom with inadequate wardrobe (content of 2 suitcase had to be on the floor); missing side table & side light; View as advertised spoiled by derelict rusty "balcony" in front of main window. warning signs on the window not included in the advertised pictures (misrepresentation); No Wifi passport on arrival and therefore no information available and could not make contact with web site on arrival. Took 3 attempts to contact Booking.com for information; contact finally made with telephone number supplied by a local hotel (business number). Cost was exorbitantly high for such poor accommodation. Unhelpful management.

With a couple of good restaurants (Cliff and The Terrace) a goodplace to 'get away from it all'

The view is excellent. Good to have tea/coffee and milk for arrival etc. Hosts very helpful.

Just as a little thing ... A tray would be useful to save visits from kitchen to lounge.

Stunning penthouse apartment really is stunning

Exceptionally clean, great communication from the owner, great facilities - well stocked kitchen. Amazing master bedroom and en suite and the view is stunning over the beautiful beach.
