Really nice 3 bedroom condo with all necessary amenities for 6 or 7 people, 1 more if you have a couple kids as they could sleep on the trundle or comfy couch. Clean and comfortable with really close access to the pool and a short walk up to the beach!

The management team was top notch in customer service from the moment we inquired about the property and through the time of our departure from the condo. The location was excellent with the pool a few steps from the lovely back patio and the beach an easy walk from there. I loved that there was a trail for running right next to the complex and everything on the island was just a few minutes away!

Girls SBreak Getaway?
The management company couldn’t have been any nicer or nite accommodating!! They were fabulous!! The condo was nice & clean, just a bit dark inside. We were right at the pool, and just a boardwalk away from the beach! We saw turtles, dolphins., bunnies, and a woodpecker!
We walked daily miles con the beach, & rented bikes & rode in the bike trail 11 miles! It was a fabulous time! Highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful location for our stay on Amelia
After 20 years, it was so nice to return to Amelia Island. We chose to stay at Sailmaker for the location. And, the location did not disappoint. We rode our tandem bicycle from St. Augustine so we were carless while on the island. The miles and miles of bicycle paths and bike routes was so wonderful. The grocery store is very close as well as a couple of restaurants. We were able to attend the famous Ameila Concours car show and that was certainly a highlight.

Located just a couple of blocks south of The Ritz Carlton, behind the beach dune, behind another row of condos with beachfront views, sits this condo unit. This ground level condo with an entrance facing the road and side window views of either the parking lot or green space between two buildings with a view of the pool located very close nearby, is nicely decorated and welcoming. Being a ground floor unit, it was a bit dark inside without lights on and the cover of many trees keeps it that way. Amenities were as indicated including a few beach chairs and toys. The outdoor patio was poorly lit, only one outdoor light with a single lower wattage bulb, so it couldn’t be used after dark; too bad, because it would have been nice to sit outside (under a ceiling fan would be nice) and socialize with family/guests. For those who may not be aware, Florida has higher humidity in general and it was apparent as soon as we entered the unit. Humidity and salty air leads to rust/corrosion which was apparently why the beach chairs should be replaced and why there was a slight feeling/smell of dampness/mold. In fact, as we were checking out, we finally found evidence of a black-looking mold on the ceiling in the corner of the living room and in one of the bedroom closets. The unit was clean and tidy, everything worked correctly, and we had no complaints. WiFi worked well, which is not always the case in rentals, even with three different streaming apps running simultaneously. It wasn’t 5 star, but it was a sold 3.5-4 star stay for our family. Would I stay in this unit again? Yes, I would consider it. Amelia Island is definitely worth visiting and if this unit was available, I wouldn’t walk away; it was a descent value for the money.

Recent Stay
Organized and well prepared property. Only negatives I can think of was a discoloration in ceiling corners. Lack of fan ventilation in 2nd bath.
While our weather was poor, the overall location and atmosphere was exactly what we hoped and planned for

Cute condo
Condo was just as pictured. Plenty of room for 4. Couches in living room were comfy as they fully extend. Bedrooms offered plenty of space. 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach which was uncrowded- just through parking lot and then then boardwalks. We enjoyed the little island ans the rental agency kept in contact.

First Trip to Amelia Island
We enjoyed the trip; however the condo was not cleaned properly and the second bathroom needs attention. The complex was nice, but we had to walk through the parking lot to access the walkway to the beach.

Exceptional Customer Service and Property
We had a wonderful time during our stay at Sailmaker. The property had everything we needed and was very well decorated. It was a very short walk to the beach, about 1 mile to an amazing Harris Teeter and other shops and restaurants. You can get to anywhere on the island in a short drive. The walking and bike paths are right outside the property. I grew up in Amelia Island and still to this day the tree canopied drive along the parkway to the condo is probably the most beautiful you will find. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay on Amelia Island. But, more than anything, the level of customer service provided by Summer, the Owner of Amelia Island Getaways, was the best we have ever experienced on VRBO.

New favorite place
We visited Amelia Island for the first time and we loved it. There was 6 adults and one infant and the condo was perfect. There is plenty of room for a family to visit and relax. There is also a lot of privacy and it is very quiet inside and on the patio. The crowd at the beach is also very small and family oriented. We loved it

Amelia concourse stay
This is a very well-maintained and managed property. We were impressed by the efficiency of the management company, first time working with them. The unit was very clean. One of the few units we haven’t had to do cleaning on when we arrived. I was traveling with my two grown daughters to the car show in the unit have plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils. We were able to easily cook breakfast in the unit which saved us time and trouble.
This unit is not right on the ocean but it is a very short walk through the parking lot and down a pathway the o the beach. We did this every day to enjoy the beach. This is a gated property and we felt quite secure. Our parking space was right outside the unit which was very easy. We would definitely recommend this unit and this property.

Great location and Condo
We have stayed in this complex before, so knew what to expect. This property steps out to the pool. I love that the condo was ground level, making is super convenient to take our dog out. We had everything we needed to prepare meals and such and plenty of room for our family of 3 (actually more space than needed). We would definitely consider staying here in the future.

2 min walk to ocean, 30 seconds to quiet pool
Nice clean condo. Great WiFi- we had 4 working and no issues. Pool right off back porch. 3bedrooms, extra pullout cot available in closet. Only drawback was the upstairs condo had kids playing with a golf ball, sounded like rocks pouring onto the ceiling. We’d rent again.

Great location, pet friendly
The condo worked out so well for us and our pup! It was easy to take her out the back patio or front door, and just over the dunes to the beach for a lovely walk every morning. Comfy couch and everything we needed in the kitchen. The only issue is that the unit is dark with little natural light due to the orientation and the trees. Leasing agent super responsive and helpful!

Perfect beach getaway spot!
Fantastic choice for beach getaway! This condo had everything needed and was spotless! Comfy couches and beds and a big TV! The beach was only steps away and Harris Teeter and Starbucks were only a 2 minute car ride away. Communication with the management team was quick and easy. Would definitely return!

Good location
Amelia Island and the beaches are wonderful. The beach at this property is also beautiful. This condominium is not a beach view but is not a long walk. There is however marsh water nearby so bring your mosquito spray. The size of this unit was good and the beds were comfortable. My biggest complaint is how dirty it was. I had to buy a mop and mop the whole place. Also all the bath mats looked like they weren't washed so I just stashed them in a corner and didn't use them. The towels were old and were washed but there isn't bleach to use between guests as we were told to begin the laundry before we checked out. Under the beds was not cleaned in a long time since I checked that we didn't leave anything. I was glad I brought my own kitchen towels and some cleaning products. The owner was trying to sell this condo and let me know she may show it while I was there which did happen.

Perfectly distanced getaway
The property was just as pictured. Having a dog, it is hard to find properties that this beautifully decorated AND clean. The owner was responsive, caring, and generous. It is a little walk to the boardwalk and then from there a short walk to the beach. We brought a wagon which was needed to take all of our things. The beach was semi-private and very easy to stay 50-100 feet away from other families. A little further down the beach in either direction, where there were high rise condos, you could see big crowds of people but police were monitoring to make sure the beach area stayed private. It was a gorgeous, well maintained beach. The pool very rarely had other families and was also easy to distance, even on the weekend. Bring extra towels, as you will have one beach towel per person.

Fun Thanksgiving Stay
We had a great time staying over Thanksgiving. The condo was nice and we loved how close it is to the ocean. I wish the beds in the two front rooms were queen size instead of full. Overall we had a great time.

Return to Amelia Island
After being lured away by the gulf coast for a number of years our recent return to Amelia Island reminded our family of what we had been missing for many years. The condo was beautiful and situated in a beautiful setting. Access to the pool and the short walk to the beach worked out great for everyone, including the grandkids. We were even able to bring our dogs along for this trip. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already booked a return trip next summer.

Loved our stay in this inviting condo!
What a beautiful condo within walking distance to the beach! We enjoyed our October stay; even on a rainy day we were able to kick back and found some puzzles and board games to play while we waited for the rain to subside. I especially loved the inviting decor and tile floors. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped; although, who wants to cook when the restaurant choices are so good? The location was perfect for a stroll or day on the beach and there were bikes available along with beach items and toys. Anything else you might need is a short drive from the condo. The location is secure and parking was accessible . Wendy and her husband were quick to respond when we couldn't figure out technology. I would definitely stay again! I would have loved to stay much longer! Thanks again for sharing your beautiful beach home!

Great Week!
We loved our time at Wendy's condo! It was furnished with better than average furniture and linens, which was a nice touch. It was well-stocked and just a short walk to the beach. She was great about communicating with us. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because of the lack of a beach view. But I would definitely stay there again.

Enjoyed our trip so much. Loved the way the condo was secluded. Everything was very comfortable. The pole was missing to the beach umbrella was the only thing and I don’t know if Wendy was aware. Loved the place.
