About this apartment rental
Newly renovated beach condo in beautiful St. Augustine. Enjoy beach access through a private pier or choose one of the three private pools (one is heated) or two hot tubs on the condo complex. The complex also has a gym and outdoor gas grills.
The condo itself has been recently renovated with beautiful finishings. It is fully-equipped with everything you need from kitchen gadgets to a washer and dryer. The sofa pulls out into a bed to accommodate a total of six people.
Enjoy the beautiful white sandy beaches of St. Augustine or visit the historic Spanish colonial fort, the alligator farm, Ponce de Leon's Fountain of Youth, or the Pirate and Treasure Museum. There's plenty of fun to be had in St. Augustine!
Includes one dedicated parking space with a guest space (first come, first served) directly next to it and other guest spaces in the parking lot.

The condo was awesome, had everything we needed and in a great location. Spent some time in the pool which was nice and quiet. We will definitely keep coming back.

The hibiscus is definitely an older condominium community, but it is well maintained. The only negative thing i would say it the sand dunes you have to walk though to access the beach do have some steep incline, my 74 yr old in laws did have a little hard time walking over them. The beach access boardwalk is unstable in one area. There were cones placed over but it was still very uneven.The condo itself was clean for the most part and decently stocked. We did have to purchase some plastic food storage containers because there were none. The pool is located directly behind so it was very convenient.

This condo is exactly as pictured! Very modern and in great condition. The walk to the beach is only a few minutes and pools are close as well. The beds are extremely comfortable. We didn’t want to leave!

Great beach. About a quarter mile walk. Unit was nice. Stocked chairs and beach towels. Close to restaurants. The gym is not nice. Host communication was very good.

The property was as described. It was well-equipped and clean. The only issue we had was two of the showers from the beach were not working. The water pressure in the master bathroom sink was also low. These were minor inconveniences. It is quite a walk to the beach as others have stated, but appears all the properties sit well behind the dunes in this area. The pool was fantastic and sat right behind our building. It was completely empty except for us most of the time. The porch contained a small gate which we absolutely loved for keeping our pets corralled. We would definitely recommend this property to others.

My husband and I had a lovely time staying in the condo. It was very clean, updated and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. We also enjoyed the breeze while sitting on the deck.
Kathryn, the host, was very responsive any time we had a question.
The grounds are beautiful and well manicured.
It is a 5-7 minute walk to the beach. The pools are closer. We drove to Mary St and used that for beach access some of the time which was very convenient, especially if you’re lugging lots of stuff to the beach.
There are plenty of restaurants, Publix, Kookaburra Coffee and St. Augustine to enjoy close by.
We loved the location so much that we a buying a condo in the building next door!

Can’t quite give condo 5 stars-
Owner hadn’t sent code to get in to condo on check in day- had to wait a bit for her to get back to me, not a big problem, just a bit inconvenient when you are waiting to get into rental after driving for an hour to get there
I sat in one of the chairs on the deck and it broke out from under me- not owner’s fault, but also not a fun experience
The blinds in slider are broken and difficult to open with out them coming out, would have been a lot easier to have curtains on slider
Slider very hard to open- I think it probably needs new rollers
Private access beach was very nice- not many people, very quiet
Bathrooms could benefit from a rod for towels
Would have been nice to have laundry detergent available
Overall the location and stay was very nice
These are just my thoughts that would have made our stay even better

Property was nice and clean, with easy check in and check out. Host was very responsive. So nice to be a quick walk to direct beach access. We had an 8-month pregnant woman in our group and she had no problem with the walk to and from the beach. Super convenient to have multiple pools on site with one very close to the unit. Would recommend and stay again.

We had an amazing stay at this newly renovated condo, it was beautiful with lots of cozy beach touches; very comfortable mattresses and linens. The two porches were so convenient too! We enjoyed the pools and long walks to the beautiful beach. We hope to stay here again.

Everything was wonderful. The only issue was we couldn’t check in until 5:30 because the property wasn’t cleaned yet. We reached to the owner and she fixed it right away. This was a perfect condo rental for 5 of us; four adults plus one teenager. We were in St Augustine for a wedding and the location made it easy to get right into downtown. And we were just a few steps from the beach!

This was a great place for a quick get away. Pictures are exactly how we found it. Not far to downtown St. Augustine. Quiet location during the winter. A long walk to get to the beach, but the path is right by the condo along with one of the pools right out the back door. The owner easy to work with. Had to call one time upon check in and she was extremely nice.

We arrived at our rental and the building was covered with scaffolding, with workers doing framing and siding on the building. Owner didn’t think it would bother us. We had to cancel and last minute find a hotel in the area. Very stressful.

The description of the condo is accurate. The inside has been remodeled and was very clean; the beds are comfortable. The unit is located in an older building. Access to the beach was straightforward, but it is a bit of a walk because of the dunes (it appeared this is the case for most properties on Butler Beach). Kathryn (the host) was very responsive and polite.

This condo is absolutely stunning on the inside. You can tell the owner has put a lot of time into it and it’s definitely felt while staying. The owner was quick to respond with any and all questions. The only problem that we had during our visit is the beach access. The listing said direct private beach access, but you have to make a 10 minute walk to even get to the beach. This wouldn’t be a problem, but we were traveling with a small child who required lots of items for days on the beach as well as an adult with knee issues. The pictures show beach views but you cannot see the beach from this unit. It is very close to a secluded pool, which was wonderful! The owner has also made the front and back porch comfortable for sitting outside in the shade. Overall, great condo just wish I would’ve known about the walk to the “direct” beach access.

Condo was just like the pictures. Nicely decorated and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything you need to cook if you wanted to. Pools were nice and clean too. Beach was the nice white sand and easy to walk on.

This was a very well kept unit with access to the beautiful beach. We spent each and every day down there. It is all that is described. If we ever go back to the St Augustine area, I wouldn’t look for any other place.

Paradise at my fingertips
I loved my vacation getaway here! It’s peaceful, a few steps from the pool, a great evening Florida summer breeze on the back deck! And most of all, clean!! And the hostess was wonderful and accommodating. I have already booked for next year!! The perfect paradise getaway.

Great Beach
The property inside was nice. The outdoor areas needed upgrades and better overall maintenance. Issues with cable and televisions throughout stay. The noise from the above condo was consistently loud and disruptive. The location was good and we spent most of our time on the beach.

Cute Coastal Retreat
We had a great time… we usually stay in a hotel on the beach but we had our daughters’s dog this time so needed a condo that would accommodate. The neighborhood could use a little facelift but looks like they may be working on that. The condo itself was very nice and clean (just like the photos). We really appreciated the flexibility of the owner with allowing early check-in. We would definitely stay there again!

Love it ! Stayed for a month and will def return next year!! It was everything I wanted. Close to the beach, 3 pools, 2 hot tubs and grills scattered around the property. Place was very clean and included all the basic necessities.
Good location with great restaurants and grocery stores with a couple minutes drive.
Each bedroom having it's own bathroom was a big plus.
Only suggestion is to get an ottoman for the two living room chairs to help relax at the end of a busy day in St. Augustine.
Would recommend this property.

Not as Expected
We booked this vacation home for a 3 night mini "vacation" on our way to Kissimmee from Ontario, Canada.
We arrived at the property to find that the cleaners did not show up at all to clean after the previous guests.
We contacted the owner - She could not reach the cleaners and stated this had never happened before. We had to clean the unit ourselves including changing the sheets. Access to cleaning supplies was given to us including towels and blankets for the unit. The cleaning fee and pet fee was refunded.
We did not expect to have to clean and sanitize the vacation home after traveling many hours from Ontario, Canada.
The interior of the unit is nicely decorated. Great appliances. The master bed was very comfortable. The couch and chairs are stained and need professional cleaning.
Some of the dishes in the cupboards were not cleaned properly, so we had to do several loads of dishwashing as well.
The cable box in the bedrooms do not work. We contacted the owner again and she had a signal to the box. I stated that it still didn't work. Her response was that the condo association pays for it, so what she can do is limited.
After touring the resort it was very apparent this entire resort could use a face-lift. Shingles falling off the buildings, rotting wood on the board walks, one of the decks is blocked off with caution tape because it is unsafe and looks like it is ready to cave in.
The kitchen window has a view of the trailer park next door. The unit has great access to the beach which we enjoyed very much. It is a short distance to Publix and the Beachcomber restaurant which was also great.

Excellent Spot
We stayed with family to visit St Augustine but didn’t want to stay in busy downtown. This was perfect for us. Nice walk down to beach. Reasonable distance from the city. We loved it and will be back on our own!
