Super!!

Die Unterkunft ist fantastisch und sehr sauber. Der hübsche Garten ist ein Highlight. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas erhöht und von der Hauptstrasse entfernt. Gleich um die Ecke startet ein schöner Wanderweg. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Remote garden paradise

This property is located in a quite remote area with very beautiful garden. the family who runs this place was very sweet and made everything so we feel like home.

Perfect!

Really loved our stay here. The room was comfortable, there is a well equiped kitchen which you can use, it’s located pretty much next to the trailhead of the India Dormida trail and the owners went out of their way to help us.

El Zumbito is welcoming and peaceful.

What a beautiful and peaceful location! It's just a short walk from the India Dormida trailhead, and I loved lounging in the hammock after a day of adventure. The host was very helpful and kind to help us arrange a driver to the Pozo Azul Waterfalls, as well as a late checkout to catch a chiva back to Panama City.

I wish we had been a little prepared for our walk there because we ended up dragging our suitcases about a half hour from downtown to get to the room. I'd recommend packing light if you're walking or taking transit/taxi there if you have a lot of stuff. This isn't the hotel's fault though! The room is simple and there is no hot water, but we enjoyed our stay.

friendly, really lovely place to stay in El Valle. right next to start of India Dormida trail. hosts went out of the way to make you feel comfortable- including fresh fruit smoothie made for us after returning from a hike!

The place that would calm your mind!

This is a perfect spot if you want to relax and calm down in a surrounding full of flowers and sounds of nature, with cute dogs chilling in the sun and ready to keep you company. I loved every moment of being in El Zumbito so much that we extended our stay from 3 to 5 nights. The owners take a good care of the place - it is spotless and has everything you may need - it feels they want to make your experience the best possible. Keep in mind El Zumbito is located at the end of the town, which makes the surrounding quiet and relaxing but it also means you need to walk about 20 minutes to the bigger shops or restaurants. It’s a pleasant walk though so you don’t necessarily need a car. Also the house is just next to the entrance to the best trail in the whole area - La India Dormida so you can reach the summit very quickly for a sunrise experience. I’ll definitely come back if I’m ever in Valle de Anton again!

Great hosts, very clean gem.

The accommodation was very clean, and the staff were amazing. We used Google translate thr entire time and got on well. The location in walkable from downtown & places of interest. Otherwise taxis are UISD2 per ride. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!

Lots of barking dogs in the neighnoirhood at nighy, nothing to do with El Zumbito.

Superb

Very friendly d helping hosts. Even prepared breakfast for me. Very clean and tasteful. Place to park the car. At the beginning of the wonderful hiking trail La India Dormida. Air-condition wa s there but I did not need it als well as a fridge.

As often in private houses in Panama - windows and doors cannot fully be closed from air. Always a bit of air is coming in - so you'll hear the noises of humans and animals or even the weather like wind and rain. But nevertheless it was still possible to sleep good. I was lucky, the dogs were quiet and I did not hear many people. Earplugs are provided by the host.

Great place, lovely hosts

The hosts are lovely people. The accommodation offers everything one needs for a short stay. There is kitchen available for your disposition, we were even allowed to do laundry & dry free of charge. The Internet connection is great, there is a fridge in the room. The town is astonishingly beautiful, lots of things to discover. Our time in Valle de Anton was so far the cherry on the top!

I was missing a dedicated place for a luggage in the room - not a must but an improvement idea :) otherwise all was perfect!

The owner are very helpful and kind. Acc omadation is family owned and right next to the entrance for the hike to the india dormida. After we checked out we left our bags there and went for the hike. Unfortunately we got surprised by the rain and were soaked. The owner gave us a towel, a drink and we were even able to take a shower, very kind gesture.

Alde and Gabby who are wonderful hosts. We spent many hours relaxing on the porch, watching birds, and talking to our hosts. I would highly recommend El Zumbito to anyone looking for a relaxing stay. Lodgings were basic but immaculately clean and well-maintained.

There couldn't be a better place to stay in El Valle. Gaby and Aldemaro are the best hosts you can imagine. The rooms are really nice and the garden is beautiful! I really recommend to stay here!!

In the heart of El Valle de Antón

We liked the location just at the entrance to India Dormida Trail. The room was very basic with only a bed and a table. However the bathroom was newly decorated. Everything was spotlessly clean. The greatest advantage of this place are hosts. They were so helpful, smiling and open that we were feeling like at home. Highly recommendable for people who want to enjoy beautiful Valle in relaxing atmosphere.

Only minor things. Some shelves or small wardrobe in the room would be useful.

amazing, the kitchen equipment was perfect, its had everything and everything was so clean, organized we really like it here, close to the indina dorma trail and quiet. the peoples and the staff here are so nic, really cares we will have it all and we will enjoy here

Enjoyed every second of our stay here

Loved everything about this place. Very clean room, with a delightful bed, and a large porch with comfortable chairs, a hammock and small table to sit and enjoy your breakfast, lunch or dinner while looking out over the beautiful garden and mountains behind it. Small Kitchen equipped with everything you might need for simple meals.

A lot of dogs around that didn't seem to get along, so a lot of barking, but not anything exceptional for Panama. It's a little difficult to find the place and a little far from "downtown", but worth the distance.

Great stay

The dobleroom with its porch in the garden was great. Everything is really new there. The owners speak fluent english and are very friendly and helpful. They took us to the doctor and translated everything. Without them we would have been completly lost. Thanks again. The b&b is located next to the entrance of the India Dormida-Trail. Into the city center it's a walk of 15 minutes.

Relaxing homestay at the foot of La India Dormida

We felt very welcome and relaxed right from the start with the wonderful hosts. Great location with some great tourist attractions nearby. Most notably La India Dormida, where the entrance was just around the corner. Would happily recommend.
