Pleasant

The location is amazing, basically right near the water/port and the Rocca a Mare fortress. Worth a walk on the causeway. The apartment is well stocked with a laundry machine and a kitchen. The YouTube video on how to access the keys was super helpful. The locking security doors for the patio were great. Comfortable bed.

First, I hadn't really realized it would be an AirBnB style apartment. Those aren't my preference because I have concerns about taking rental units for locals off the market, but that's my bad for not paying closer attention when we booked. There was a smell in the apartment: I thought it was smoke but when I communicated this to the owner they said it couldn't have been so it may have been exhaust from the busy street wafting in from the open patio doors? It seemed to come and go. It was loud at night, but that often comes with such a central/downtown location. The pull-out couch was broken. And the awning on the balcony was down and there were no instructions on how to open it up so the apartment was very dark and as a result didn't feel very welcoming. In general a binder on how to use things (like the washing machine, I googled instructions and did my best) would have helped a lot. It set a not-great tone for our time in Heraklion, to be honest, so we left a day early.

It was a lovely trip. Highly recommended!

First of all, the host was very helpful and on spot, supporting our requests. The apartment is clean, with all we needed and extra. We liked very much the balcony, where we used to drink coffee and the location which is near the Venetian port and the restaurants, bars and tavernas. We used the wifi for work and had no connection issues. We would definitively like to come back in Crete and this apartment.

Very good

Very big and comfy bed. Very nice convenient location. Spacious and nicely decorated. Big balcony.

Had to check out a lot earlier than flight. Air con in living room was broken and leaking.

Superb

Clean, equiped flat in the city center next to the Venetian port. A bit noisy neighborhood because of heavy traffic, but enjoyable. Easy to access the main sights, the bus station, shopping street, etc

Absolutely stunning apartment, beautifully equipped with lots of nice touches, coffee, raki, washing machine, iron, cleaning stuff. Really comfy bed.

It is on a main road, and therefore quite noisy. But very central and easy access to all Heraklion has to offer.
