A very pleasant stay, with a very helpful host.

Location, friendliness, relaxed atmosphere, brilliant breakfast.

Hair dryer not available in the room.

The breakfast was really nice and very hot which was great.

Perhaps a mat for the shower as we found it a bit slippy.

Fantastic location, fantastic hosts, very relaxing and enjoyable stay

The breakfast was fantastic, set us up for the day! The location was amazing, shops and sea front all within easy reach. The hosts were amazing, nothing too much trouble a great place to stay with lots of interesting history too!

Great stay

Steve was a great host, nothing to much. Breakfast was well worth the price (£10.00) per person. Great location

We were given room 11 on the top floor, with partial sea view. Room was fine and great for people watching. The only downside was the bathroom was very dated. On speaking with Steve, he explained that rooms 11 & 12 are being refurbished end of this year. Parking can be a bit of pain due to location. Nothing Steve can do about this. You just have to hit on lucky as it's public parking (£7.00 per day). Steve has permits

Absolutely lovely place to stay

Location and staff as was very helpful, room was very clean and reasonably priced. Definitely staying there again

The shower in the room as had very low pressure and kept altering the temperature even tho not touched but this would not deter us from staying again as we was told at entering the room that the room we had chosen had not yet been renovated as yet also the room we stayed in was on the top floor so would explain the pressure. Disregard to the shower we had such a lovely stay

Friendly & clean

Lovely guest house, really friendly, clean & comfortable. Good, tasty & hot breakfast.

Bed was a bit hard for my bones, I have RA, but slept fine.

The location. The view. The room was a great size, very clean, and a nice comfy bed with everything you need in there. Excellent breakfast. Anything else you need just ask Steve, nothing is touch much trouble, he's a nice bloke and can tell you anything you need to know about places to eat etc. It's a little gem of a place. Highly recommended.

Beds very comfy, host very friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

The view from the double room but that isn’t the hosts fault.. he didn’t build the place!

A great weekend away.

Ideal location for us. Close to the beach, not far from Scarborough Spa and Close to the local amenities. This guest house is great. The owner Steve is a very nice chap, helpful too. Breakfast is worth the stay alone.

A very pleasant stay in a clean, comfortable and welcoming guest house.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very warm and welcoming and keen to make sure everything was in order. The breakfast was very good. I have no complaints at all.

The room was clean and tidy. With lots of room for the three of us. We didn’t hear much noise from outside meaning we got a good nights sleep

Didn’t have a fridge to have cold drinks. Top blinds didn’t block out enough light, woke my husband at 5 both mornings.

Lovely stay. the location suitable for the beach and shops. Anything we needed we just had to ask.

We didn't have the breakfast. The sea view from the room was lovely to look at. The room was spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean.

This is the place to stay!

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel and I received the exact same outstanding service this time as I did last time. The owner is absolutely amazing and you can see he cares for his guests. I travelled with my mam and 8month old son, the owner made sure we were comfortable and went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be. He was so friendly and nothing was too much. Cleanliness was spot on, had no issues what so ever, it was spotless. Beds are so comfy and had a great sleep. Location is ideal, so close to the sea front, close to restaurants and multistorey car park literally around the corner -what more could you want? Honestly wouldn't consider any other hotel when visiting Scarborough as this one is a gem! Host - 100/10 Location - 10/10 Cleanliness - 10/10 Sleep/comfort - 10/10

Lovely decor in rooms & great location

Excellent location, clean, recently decorated, all furniture seemed quite new and fresh. Comfy beds. Warm welcome.

Single glazed windows meant it was noisy (seagulls!)but not too much of an issue this late in summer. Room was v warm! Could do with a fan. Couldn't move the shower head to another level/angle so water went all over...... bathroom floor therefore v wet.

Worth a stay

5mins from the train station. Victorian tram way very close by. Central to everything. The host (sorry didn't get your name) was very polite, informative and helpful
