En general estuvo bastante bien, está igual a las fotos las instalaciones están lindas y muy limpias.

Calle de entrada al hotel está en mal estado y se inunda en estas épocas de lluvia (ojalá pudieran mejorarla)

Simple, clean beachfront property in a great location.

Casa Kuaa is a simple and clean property in a fantastic beachfront location with a small snack bar onsite. It is a nice accommodation to relax with ample pool and beach lounge chairs with pillow top covers, tables, umbrellas, and a few hammocks. No frills, but it has all that you’ll need for your stay. Note that I did not find the beach to be swimmable as the waters were very rough during my July visit with red flags posted along Zicatela beach. Not sure if this varies throughout the year. I would return and only request an upstairs room with a private balcony. I stayed in a ground floor room that faced the adult pool which lacked an outdoor space. There was a family above with a small child and I could hear the child running across the floors all morning and the crying, so the insulation to block noise is poor. They offer free beachfront yoga a few days each week (4 days I believe), and serve coffee in the open air lobby area in the mornings. You must pass by the hotel lobby to request beach / pool towels.

Staff wasn’t very friendly. Communication via the booking.com chat portal was hit or miss.

Excelente lugar para descansar.

Me encantaron las instalaciones, la ubicación y la cercanía al mar. El personal es muy amable. El hotel en general es hermoso y me gusta que lo mantienen limpio y en buenas condiciones. Volvería hospedarme aquí sin dudarlo.

El desayuno no fue el mejor, y las camas son un poco duras.

Fantastic spot to enjoy Puerto Escondido

Amazing hotel, beautifully presented. Amazing location, right on the beach but also close to all the bars and restaurants that puerto has to offer. The staff were always really helpful. Lovely breakfast as well, reasonably priced.

Bad experience

Location, good mattress

Rooms extremely small, open shower really uncomfortable, no pravacy, hard to regulate temperature of water, shower with not a good flow, pool was not clean, no change of towels or sheets.

Gorgeous Boutique Hotel with 5 star service.

Omg! I can’t say enough great things about Casa Kuaa honestly. The communication from staff prior to arrival was A+. The facility itself is absolutely gorgeous. Private pools, private balconies, and a bar on the beach. The staff here is absolutely incredible. Everyone was so so so kind. Plus, kittens running around saying hello was unreal! I would not stay anywhere else in Puerto Escondido. Breakfast and drinks at their bar was delicious as well. Thank you to Jamil and the lady’s at the bar. It was quiet, comfortable, and beautiful. 10/10 recommend to anyone going to PE.

Beautiful hotel, brilliant staff, stunning location.

Fabulous location and staff were brilliant throughout our stay - we arrived early in the morning and they went out of their way to get our room ready early. There is construction nearby but it didn’t effect our stay and it is common for the area.

Safety and staff concerns with unresponsive management.

I am deeply concerned by the behavior of the staff and owner during our recent stay at your establishment. Their actions were completely disrespectful and crossed the line of professionalism. The safety of my family and the underage children in our group was compromised due to the staff filming and mocking them. Despite having multiple rooms reserved for our family, we were surprised by the staff's insistence on charging extra for the children visiting their grandfather. Moreover, the children faced harassment when requesting basic amenities, and were subjected to name-calling by the staff. It was unacceptable that the staff even refused to provide essential items like toilet paper, and their confrontational approach made us feel uncomfortable. The most distressing aspect was that we observed a clear discrepancy in how our mixed family was treated compared to other guests. The staff's discriminatory behavior targeted us in ways that were not experienced by other visitors. The situation escalated when the staff started yelling and filming us, causing further unease and insecurity. Seeking resolution, I contacted the owner, but their response was disappointing as they berated my family instead of addressing our concerns. Upon checking out, we discovered unauthorized charges on our bill, and despite reaching out for clarification, the hotel has been unresponsive, which reflects poorly on the management's approach to handling such issues. Regrettably, based on our experience, I cannot recommend your resort to others. There are much safer and more hospitable properties just down the street. I encourage potential guests to spare themselves the trouble and consider booking at a different resort.

Perfect stay on the beach

Great room, well designed, spacious, AC, comfortable bed, good shower. Facilities are great, pool, beach access and sunbeds, hammocks. Fast internet. Friendly staff. Good food in beach cafe.

breakfast included in price would be a great option. A group of guest were very loud, with their own music - monopolising the common areas. Staff at the beach cafe a little sleepy, but food was good.

Offer seclusion by the beach in the center of town

The location of Casa Kuaa is amazing, right in the village and yet on the beach, which was fairly empty. You have a feeling of seclusion when you sit by the pool under the palm trees and look out on the ocean. And yet you are one minute from the main street where all the action is. Our room was large and had a nice terrace, there were also two cats who hung out with us. The people who work at CK are all very sweet and helpful. Zicatela offers an incredible amount and variety of excellent restaurants from Korean BBQ to traditional Japanese, all variations of Mexican and even a little craft beer brewery. We are spoiled New Yorkers, but there was so much excellent food in this tiny town!

The food at Casa Kuaa is essentially non existent. Is this by design because there are so many fantastic options nearby? This is not CK's fault, but there is currently a lot of construction on the block. Fortunately the waves are very loud.

Tropical Paradise

This is a little tropical paradise! It’s beach front and still close to lots of nice restaurants and bars. Everything is very clean and the place is well maintained. We liked that they provide refill water which we find more eco friendly. Also the shower gels in the bathroom are amazing! The staff was welcoming and lovely. We were not disturbed by the contraction noise which some people complained about in the reviews.

Beautiful place to stay in La Punta :)

Very beautiful garden and facilities constructed with a lot of love for the details. Rooms were extremely clean! The hotel is very close to many restaurants in La Punta.

Most of the rooms don‘t have an ocean view, which is the reason why it is quite dark in the rooms. Breakfast is not included what could be expected for that price. You can have breakfast at their bar but it is expensive compared to what you get in the restaurants close by.

truly beautiful setting but need to improve service

Disappointing response from staff. For $500 USD would expect some decent customer service or some English spoken - The room I was given did NOT match the photos on the website OR in booking.com. there is only three room categories - was lied to told I had booked a single room. No terrace and no view. They refused to move me room saying hotel was full (not true), wouldn’t offer compensation, or wouldn’t let me pay MORE to take a better room. Very slow service at the beach bar.

Perfect spot for birthday weekend with wife and friends

-amazing location: walkable to everything in la punta, and a very quick cab ride to Zicatela -new facilities with stylish décor and furnishings -great access to a private area of the beach with minimal peddlers -comfy beds -working AC -they had our room ready for us and decorated for my birthday even though we arrived very early -security and maintenance staff were very friendly

-service at the beach bar was slow and inattentive -there weren't any "do not disturb" signs to put up, so trying to sleep in got interrupted by housekeeping trying to come in and clean the rooms
