Worth the money for the day

The decor was beautiful and something I haven’t seen before

There was an electric heater but it didn’t work . There were plenty blankets so it wasn’t that cold

Très mauvais. Avons quité l'hôtel 1 jour avant pour insalubrité.

Nul zéro. A éviter cet hôtel.

Tout. Le sommier à lattes 2 par terre, il est tenu par des pots de fleurs, matelas taché (traces jaunâtre urine?) Très bruyant très mal isolé, bas de fenêtre cassée. On entend les avions. Petit déjeuner inclus dans le prix et dans la description, mais pas servi, inexistant. Aliments périmés, jambon avec moisissure, jus d'orange périmé. Terrasse avec mobiliers extérieurs plein de peinture. J'ai pris des photos comme preuve, notre réservation était du 20/06 au 22/06/2023, nous sommes partis un jour avant pour les raisons citées ci-dessus. Hôtel a éviter. J'ai fait une réclamation auprès de Booking.

Must avoid. Misleading description.

Nothing really. It didn't server the purpose of a stay which is sleep.

Don't be fooled. This is a room and not an apartment. All the amenities are shared, including the bathroom. It doesn't have air-conditioning despite what it says and is like an oven in the room. The mattress was so soft that I my back hurt in an hour.

Exceptional

You get literally an entire apartment in the city center, the landlady is very cool, she leaves coffee, tea, sweets for arriving travelers. Disturbance is zero, noise is minimal.

Description is wrong!!

The owner of the house is lovely, they were very accomodating with checkin time. The check in is seem less and the location is amazing! There is a full kitchen in a shared space which is equipped with everything you might need. There is also a washing machine with detergent available.

This is a house not an apartment and you are assigned a room in the house. There are 5 bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower over the bath that needs to be shared between all 5 rooms. The bathroom was dirty, there was dust on all surfaces and hair in the drain. The bathroom is in desperate need of an upgrade, the shower head has to be held at all times as it is broken. The bedrooms were dirty, it felt as though they hadn’t been cleaned between guests. You are only given one towel between two guests. There is NO AC even though it is in the description upon booking. You get a small fan but it doesn’t work very well, and the house isn’t well ventilated so is stuffy and very warm. There were bed bugs which is I think enough of an explanation for how clean the house is. The beds are comfortable but could use with new linen and pillows. Wouldn’t recommend it. I understand that it is cheap accomodation in a prime location, but I think some of these things are an easy fix and could make it a much more pleasant stay.

The owner was very welcoming. It had a very homely feel about it. Quite arty & quirky. Central & close to all the attractions.

Filthy!

The lady that own the place was very friendly and welcoming. spacious parking right next to the “hotel”

A lot of dust on the windows and furniture. the bed lined had an odd smell as if they are used before and haven’t been washed, White stains on the curtain?! Construction going on right opposite the hotel that starts at 6.30am. There is just one bathroom for many rooms to share, I wish it was more clear in the reservation that the bathroom shown together with the room I had booked was not private. There are other restrooms as well but they are located outdoors. Do not stay there!

Central rooms with shared bathroom

The position is very central, the price is quite low and the owner was very responsive.

It wasn’t very clear on Booking that the rooms are with a shared bathroom. The bed in our room was broken so couldn’t sleep at all, the owner was very available to solve the problem, changed our room and reimbursed one night. Still, the mattress of the new room wasn’t very comfortable as well. A bit more attention to the cleaning and to making sure the guest feels good would make it a nice place to stay. The bathroom should be renewed.

NO AC! Fake amenities

The description is outright fake and misleading. THERE IS NO AC whatsoever. The breakfast is overplayed a lot in the description (it is just a kitchen with a few breakfast related foods). It is not an apartment. If this is an apartment with shared bathroom then a hotel is renting a house. It is a shared apartment with a private bedroom. We would never have chosen this place if the description was honest (AC). The only way to stay a little cool is windows without mosquito nets and fans at full blast (noisy). Good luck if you choose this place

The location is great; the rooms were clean. People complaining about the bathroom are exaggerating - it is old and with bit of an effort could look better, but it is not dirty. Check-in and check-out were easy (keys in a lockbox).

1. I do not recommend taking the single room. It's on the ground floor and the bed is right under the window that faces a busy street, so there will be people and cars literally passing by your bed the whole night (it really did feel like sleeping on the street, I could hear voices around me all the time). If you are a light sleeper, you won't sleep at all. 2. In summer, it's unbearably hot. There are a few fans throughout the property, but they hardly make a difference. It desperately needs air conditioning. 3. The host doesn't respond to messages.

Good location, easy to find. The rooms are comfortable. Getting inside the building is easy and straightforward, with the obtained keys next to the entrance door.

The promised breakfast should be rather named coffee/tee and dry snack. The guests should be aware that they can be accidentally locked in and will only be able to get out of the building through the window. There is no staff to assist you.

Great location, but you've got to lower your expectations a bit.

The fact that is located inside iraklion and that is close to many interesting points is extremely helpful.

It is very hard to sleep because there's no Air Conditioner. We booked a single room and a double room, we traveled in a group of 4 people and we had to pay an extra 15 euro per night for the 4th person. We chosen to share a single bed.

Good price ! but it is a room not an apartment !

-location -we could stay longer and have a shower after ckeck-out

-bed had an old matrace -„bfast” is actually some jam, crackers and tea/coffee left in the kitchen -renting an apartament is actually renting a room with shared bathroom and kitchen

Good stay ! I recommend !

The location was perfect near to the port and the museum and near to the Main Street. you can do everything by feet. The place is clean and the mood of Maestro Creco ! The owner is really helpful, we arrive in morning because of the ferry and the room was already ready, we can leave our luggage a bit more in the place. She was friendly with us !

We just stay one night and maybe is good to know there is only one bathroom to share inside but clean and ok !
