Séjour parfait à Santa Monica

+ Propreté des locaux + Literie de très bonne qualité + Décoration + Terrasse sympa + Lave-linge et sèche-linge gratuit + Parking dans la rue avec un badge résident L'accès au studio se fait par l'arrière de la maison en passant par la buanderie et une entrée/pièce commune aux propriétaires. En haut des escaliers la porte de droite donne accès au studio (celle de gauche aux propriétaires). Celui ci est très propre et correspond parfaitement aux photos : une grande pièce de vie avec un lit très confortable et une grande salle de bain. Le linge de maison (draps et serviettes de toilette) est fourni ainsi que les produits de toilette. Il n'y a pas de cuisine, mais un petit frigo, un micro ondes et un grille pain. Accès au lave linge et sèche linge dans la buanderie. Accès à la terrasse au niveau supérieur avec salon de jardin, très sympa mais pas utilisée car trop de vent.

- Proximité appartement propriétaires (manque d'intimité on entend les conversations/bruits par la porte communicante) - Cuisine minimaliste (pas/peu d'ustensiles de cuisine, aucun plat pour le micro-onde, laver la vaisselle dans la salle de bain) - Règle à respecter : Obligation d'enlever les chaussures avant de monter à l'étage

The best part of our vacation!

Incredibly warm and helpful host. Amazing location. Genuine privacy. Great private rooftop, and an apartment with more amenities than we could even possibly need/use. We left with the feeling that we had ‘lived’ the Santa Monica lifestyle because of our experience staying at this property.

The best trip I’ve ever had

EVERYTHING about this trip and studio was amazing. The friendliest family living there. BEYOND helpful and gave us everything we needed and more. I will most definitely be returning to Santa Monica and there’s no other place I would stay. I 100000% recommend staying here.

Don't be deceived, stay elsewhere

The location of the place is good. About 15 min walking to the beach, quiet neighborhood with street parking available. Whole Foods near by.

We both felt like we were defrauded. Upon arrival we realized that the owner lists two units at this location which was not clearly stated. All the nice pictures you see on the listing are for the bottom full floor unit. What we got starts on photo 35. We rented what was described as "studio" which turned out to be a tiny room attached to the owner's kitchen. We spent so much $$$ on this, it was ridiculous for the price. There was no kitchen, no cooking area, utensils, etc. just a few plates and a tiny fridge. I specifically wanted a place with access to kitchen because we stayed for 10 nights and food is expensive in LA. We could have rented a hotel room for the stay for about $500 less with better amenities. There was zero privacy. Since the room is so close to the owner's kitchen, you can hear everything: how the family cooks, talks, yells (yep, that happened too), washes dishes. I assume they could hear everything we did. One day the owner rushed to our room and started banging on the door as I was just to get on a work call. I opened the door, and without asking she rushed into the bathroom. She thought we caused a leak downstairs although we were very careful with the entire room. Only after inspecting everything she left (and subsequently apologized, but I found this inappropriate). Endless rules. From the first moment on, the owner bombarded us with rules. Do this, don't do that, clean this, leave this here... She reprimanded us several times for not closing the back entry door, although it was her children who left it open. She also wanted a cash $500 deposit or to hold onto one of our driver's licenses. We needed them to drive, so after a bit of negotiation she agreed to waive the requirement. Because we shared the back door with her family we constantly bumped into her and every time there was a new rule to follow. I would not recommend this to anyone, unless you are staying for 2-3 nights.

Superb

Very quiet area. Just off Lincoln so convenient to downtown Santa Monica and the rest of the city by car, very close to Whole Foods and restaurants on Rose in Venice. Walk to Main St./the beach is 15-20 minutes, but in compensation it is always easy to find a parking spot (not easy if you go closer to the beach). Place was spotless, full of light, bed was comfortable, had fine new heat pumps for the cold mornings. The host was very accommodating to our requests: for example when we asked for some additional kitchen supplies, and it was easy to set up our arrival and departure.

Lovely location 5 blocks back from the beach nearby supermarkets and cafes. Nice outdoor deck to enjoy al fresco dining. Pei was a lovely and very helpful host who provided us with a clean modern studio with comfortable furnishings

This place is so beautiful! It’s the perfect balance of cozy and luxurious, I will definitely be staying here again! the rooftop patio was amazing to hangout on any time of day and the hostess was so kind!
