a good hotel for relaxation

the rooms were clean, the towels and linen were changed daily. the hotel was clean, being adults only, I think that matters...

the quality of the products and the food prepared in the restaurant is poor, disappointing compared to 2 years ago, I'm not talking about 10 years ago, when it was truly premium. the person from dinner reservations and excursion reservations totally unprepared, even annoying. her answers were like no and it's not possible.

Just excellent :)

An excellent location near the beach, nice view from the balcony, excellent food and the Dine Around program is a great idea. An attentive, friendly and helpful personnel, every evening there was a show at the lobby bar. The Sky Bar was great, special thanks to Dancho and Kristina :) Decent and various choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The cleaning service was provided daily.

On the beach the waitress arrived too rarely, in most cases I had to go to the bar myself. The parking is actually the street just near the hotel and has too few parking places. Though the security guy always found one for me, but it may be an issue if you come at a high season. The Asian restaurant reservation was rescheduled three (!) times. Luckily my stay was pretty long so I finally visited it, but one might be not that lucky. They promised a compensation for that, but there was none. Anyway, all of these just minor things among lots of cool ones.

Relaxing gateway

For me the highlight were the people, from pre-arrival online communication to organizing my departure to the airport, I met only friendly people who were willing to help. Great service! Food was also very tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed it, yes options can get limited if you are staying for longer, but they put special on every day. What I wanted was a relaxing break and the hotel definitely was the perfect choice for that.

I agree with some comments here - the cocktails were certainly not the best, for example, but overall these were minor things that didn't effect the positive sides of my stay

A pleasant seaside stay.

Great location. Private beach access with beverage service was nice. Staff were attentive and pleasant. Complimentary room upgrade was very appreciated.

One night our dinner menu item was undercooked. cocktails throughout the hotel were poorly made and of poor quality ingredients.

A few years ago it was the best, now it's just average

In September 2022 the rooms were clean, nicely decorated and spacious. I liked the private beach, the pool side and the Italian restaurant. The receptionists were very nice and helpful.

I asked for a Mojito at the beach bar and I received rum, Ice, soda and 2 pieces of lemon. It was the worst mojito ever. In fact all the beverages were weak, not to say bad. They didn't even told me that they don't have all the ingredients. You don't have too many options for drinks. I would give with indulgence a 7/10 for the food. The breakfast didn't had too many options and the omelettes were almost disastrous. The only acceptable food was the sweets. I had a better experience a few years ago with the food and I thought that it will be the same this time, but no.

I liked that the hotel it is close to the beach and the staff that are trying to deliver the best services, good food and nice view from the room.

Small black flies are everywhere and you can t relax and seat at the pool. The same issue you will have also at the sea but not so intensive. Maybe the local authorities could spread solution and to try to help the tourists to enjoy the holiday. The hotel is not organizing to many activities as boat trip, music on the beach and so one. They should be more oriented on activities.

Superb

A la carte service is a great idea, as were the daily specials for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the soup of the day. I'm very sad there weren't more preparations of mussels, as the quality of the ones served was exemplary. The Virgin Mary "bar" for breakfast was a nice touch :-)

I would have liked to have known the schedule of themed dinners and how to make a reservation for them upon arrival, instead of having to ask around. I think the choice of minibar beverages (beer, Pepsi, Mirinda and still water) was too limited. Sparkling water, wine, should have been available. The closing time for the beach bar and pool bar/services (5 pm) was too early, especially since on most seaside trips I've seen people enjoy the sun and sea up until 6.30 - 7. Cocktails were, unfortunately, a bit of a hit and miss.

Great and quit as it should be

The service is amazing. The food is being served in a 'restaurant style' fashion where you have a specific menu for each meal and you can order whatever you want from it, with a salad buffet that you can take whatever you want from it. most of the meals were really good, some dishes were mediocre, but that's fine, you can just ask for something else. The rooms are very nice, personally I think they are a bit small (especially for these prices) but very comfy and clean. other facilities like pool, beach and bars were all very good, enjoyed it all! Keep in mind, the main attraction is definitely the beach, there's not much to do in the other pools, they were pretty boring and small.

The only thing I actually didn't like and thought was very uncomfortable was the parking. You pay 20 BGN per night for parking. If it is paid parking, the hotel should have a valet service, and take care of this for the guests. instead of valet, you need to follow (driving your car after) a car of the hotel, all the way to a Grifid Hotels parking lot, there you park it and go back to the hotel with the car you followed. the whole thing takes like 15 min, and should be done by the hotel since its paid parking.

Easter in Golden Sands

First line perfect location in the more quiet part of the resort. Extremely polite and flexible staff. The food at the board restaurants was very good quality.

Got moved to this hotel despite disagreeing with that because this chain has many hotels in the resort and the one we chose - adult only, executive all inclusive did not have enough visitors to open it for the holidays - this was very disappointing as we were expecting a vacation without shouting children running around and we got just the opposite.

Exceptional

It was very well organized, given the special circumstances with the COVID situation. Very good food, plenty of choices. Not crowded, many places to spend your time nicely, including two pools and a private beach. Cocktails and snacks provided at any time, at the pools, lounge bar. A la carte menu with chef specials different each day. Friendly staff offering all the assistance needed and always with a smile and a good word at the ready.

Liked it so much we wanted to prolong our stay for a day or two, but it was not possible because the hotel was closing when we were supposed to be checking out. But this is understandable because the Adults Only status did not bring enough guests for the hotel to have a reason to stay open.

*the quietness that I have in the room; *food was very good and difersified, not too big portions; *I like the infinity pool.

I don't like that they can't offer a parking lot in the price of the room and you have to paid 20 leva per day.

Excelent cleaning and facillities

Too many foreigner boutiques between hotel and the private beach. One of the elevators it was fault during our stay and they didn’t fix it, so the access between room to lobby and viceversa waste to much time

Location was rather good. First tier of hotels at the beach, hotel bars had some decent coffee and cocktails served.

The "premium" a la carte lacks any part of actually being Premium. Staff was so so, some went above and beyond to accomodate, most didn't care too much about your existence. Unless you tipped. Construction quality is poor. Plumbing leaks or lack of plumbing caused leaks in the bathroom. That was met with unimpressive "Okay" and a reiparman jury-rigging the plumbing with whatever was handy. It seems it's a running theme with this hotel, cost cutting and half-arsed attempts everywhere.
