Beautiful building lacking any sense of human touch - disappointing service culture

The location was great.

I recently stayed at the Andaz Hyatt in Prague and was quite underwhelmed by the service culture. The hotel's ambiance and decor are lovely, but the level of attentiveness and hospitality left much to be desired. Despite the luxurious setting, I felt the staff could have been more accommodating and responsive to guest needs. Moreover, I experienced significant issues with the payment process. I had to use three different credit cards, and none of them worked according to the hotel staff. This same problem was reported by another guest who checked in earlier, suggesting a recurring issue. Additionally, while I observed the reception staff being very warm and informative towards other guests, sharing details about the Andaz hour and other services, none of this information was shared with me. It felt as though they were selecting the type of customers they believed to be worthy of their attention. I was later informed by a young lady at reception that she had just joined the team and was not very thorough. With all due respect to young people working and starting in hospitality, it might be best if they are given the right training to ensure consistency in the service provided. The attitude of the the few staff we met also reflected this selective service approach. This seems like a place where people who wish to be seen might enjoy, but it certainly wasn't the experience I was hoping for. A little more warmth, proactivity, and a reliable payment system would go a long way in enhancing the overall experience.

Second time we stayed in this hotel (because we liked the design) and second time we got disappointe

The valet guys were nice and restaurant staff were nice

Rude reception staff, AC that didn't work properly, blinds didn't cover all the light, shower was leaking into the room, night spot light got activated every time we turned on the bed waking us up

High quality and asterisks, excelent cuisine with high quality products, professional staff, well managed hotel on every detail. Good location; quiet area.

lovely stay, beautiful property and wonderful service.

This is a amazing hotel and we had a wonderful time. Our room was decorated stunning and stylish , high ceilings and comfortable sofa and bed. Centrally located, walking distance to all major sites. Wellness and Fitness Center are really great 👍 .House keeping team did an excellent job and the Front Office was super friendly and helpful. We had a safe parking lot in front of the hotel, perfect for our day trips. All over a lovely stay, beautiful property and wonderful service.

Wish there was a bin in the bathroom

Location, modern design, very new

Quite a small property, small gym, no pool, small restaurants and spaces, there’s no bin in the bathroom which is extremely inconvenient, reception staff could be more helpful/friendly

Amazing stay

This is the most beautiful design hotel ever, a real treat if you are a lover of beauty. The rooms are not only pretty but also very comfortable. Nice bed, pillows, couch, the mini bar has nice drinks which are complimentary. Everything is clean as it should be. Food is amazing. Don’t expect large buffets, but refined dishes. We loved it! At tea time some complimentary cakes await you. Staff is genuinely kind. We highly recommend! Best hotel in Prague, for sure.
