Not recommended

We checked in 30 minutes early and the place had not been cleaned. Very dirty! They came abs cleaned to rectify. Unfortunately the house smelt of fried food cooking. No spare toilet paper, no shower gel. Very disappointed. Would not recommend

Despite the small things - it was comfortable and clean / suited 2 couples

It suited two couples who needed separate bedrooms & bathrooms.

Would have been good to have a directory of information like how to operate the remote controls for the tv. Also to tell you what is local - only found the 4 square superette on the last day. Plug didnt fit the bath tub. Wasted a lot of hot water No darts for the dart board (didnt know to bring any) Hard to reach the dishes in the cupboards - would be better to put them in the pantry Garden looking sad. No fish. Dirty pool.

Great Kiwi house, with plenty pf room. Off-street parking was awesome. House was warm even in winter.

Throughly enjoyed our stay so cosy feels exactly like a home away from home

Great big place, nice and roomy upstairs for the kids to chill and have their own space. Great off street secure parking. Very tidy, nice quiet neighbourhood suitable for families. Only 5mins from city. Owner is very responsive with any questions I had. Will definitely book again.

Perfect option for the number of people in our sports team.

Location was good, all instructions easy to follow, had all that we required for our group for 1 nights stay.

Squeaky door into the bathroom/ensuite in the upstairs room, squeaky stairs also, was conscious of disturbing people when going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Bedding I found very hot - perhaps have a couple of different blanket options rather than just a duvet.

It was handy for our needs as we only stay for one night, clean and comfy plenty of room and would stay again. Tv has been up graded to a very large one in the front room and plenty of parking.

As we were 8 adults the bunk beds ere very small. The hot tub is only a spa bath but weren't sure if that's the way they say it over there. The pool wasn't ready to use

Thanks for the lovely stay! great for big groups

Lovely stay, we had a large group and was able to fit everyone in. Sofa bed up stairs and another in the lounge made things a lot easier. Good facilities and well cleaned. Pool was a plus!

Lots of fans but no aircon. Back garden was a bit over run, however weather didn’t permit us to use it anyway!

Great big house with fenced property

Fully fenced section was private but also perfect for our dog. House was a great size and was very comfortable for 6 people with almost everything we needed. The location was so close to Napier shops so was easy to pop out to the supermarket if needed. The location was quiet and surrounded by limited houses (industrial area behind).

We found the stairs awkward due to injuries. The kitchen was also lacking kitchenware that we needed for our dinner meals. I found it most difficult with the fish pond out back. I was concerned that the fish wouldn't be safe but also that my dog might drink the green water.

great place for a large group, generally good facilities and Location is superb

great location and good size for a group, fireplace was great and lots of heaters to keep the house warm

needed a good clean and there were no kitchen cloths for being able to wipe benches, only disposable wipes which don’t clean that well. also advertised a BBQ but it was filthy and unusable as there was no regulator with the BBQ

Lovely, spacious 4 bedroom home. Very comfortable. Even had toys for our babies👍 Good parking. Very affordable. Even decided last minute to stay on..

Had trouble turning on cold water tap. (was hard to turn) so couldn't use spa bath as I would have liked. Spa jets just spurted out. may need looking at??

Lovely Location

We loved the location and we thought the price was decent. It was also nice having a warm fire to enjoy. Sandy was also super lovely and accommodating. Would definitely return :)

The bunk beds were very uncomfortable, perhaps that space could be made more appealing with comfier mattresses. Also the place needed more utensils.
